We booked our tickets at least 3 months prior our trip which made it cheaper. We paid £63pp one way. IDK how much is the return ticket though. That is 2 persons/cabin
You can travel on the "Night Riviera" using a cheap walk-on Super Off-Peak Single or Return ticket and then pay a supplement to occupy a cabin. When I last travelled, before the Covid pandemic, it was £80 for solo occupancy or £55 if you were sharing with a friend or a relative.
@@karennajoyce - You buy the Sleeper cabin supplement online once you have decided when you wish to travel, as Off-Peak Returns are valid for up to one calendar month!
Did you notice that the writing on the side of the Sleeper train was bilingual, in both English ("Night Riviera") and Cornish ("Koskador Ruvyer an Nos")? Cornish is a Celtic language similar to Breton and Welsh, which was last spoken fluently by Dorothy Pentreath (1692-1777) of Mousehole. I believe that passengers occupying a cabin can claim a free cup of hot chocolate and a packet of shortbread biscuits from the Lounge Car, which is otherwise just like a pub on wheels. Did you use the free showers in the Sleeper lounge at Penzance/Pensans? Unlike Serco Group plc's Anglo-Scottish "Caledonian Sleeper" trains the Night Riviera is a Standard Class product throughout, so you can travel on it using a cheap Super Off-Peak Single or Return ticket, and of course a light breakfast is included in the ticket price! I usually go for the hot bacon roll! Hope you had a great time in Cornwall/Kernow and that the weather was kind!
So lovely. More travel videos pa siszt 😂❤️

I didn’t know that! That’s a bargain. Although you may not get a cabin if it happens to be fully booked

Hi Dave! I really enjoyed this experience! I didn’t know I could get biscuits and coco but they gave me crisps to go with my order at the bar.
Work in progress me thinks!
