The fellowship God seeks with man is the state or the place where we are in partnership with God, sharing and participating together, in communion, in intimacy with God, with hearts joined together, in or by a covenant. We can also define the
nature of fellowship as a covenant word because it implies the same kind of unity that the Father has with Jesus. Without covenant, there is no fellowship, and where there is no fellowship, there is no relationship.
In a covenant, the joining of hearts
and the giving of hearts takes place.

Or simply the direct communion we have to God being through Christ. That’s the ultimate way we know God personally, we don’t need to go through various levels and stages. The more we know Christ, the more we know God.
We don’t need to get to know Christ through any amount of levels but rather through simply following Him, laying down our lives for Christ.
Christ didn’t come with seven methods of getting to know God when it came to his teaching to his disciples. He gave his disciples one command; go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. That’s the essence of the gospel.
