Love the video. I love me a tutorial on beginner stuff.
I mostly watch out of the corner of my eye, because most "beginner" videos have either an expensive cam or an expensive light. I would love if a tutorial was done using a beginner cam and an affordable light. Like the one Ursula recommended in our members group, which is the Raleno soft box lighting kit. Why, cause most beginners don 't have that much cash to get the expensive things. But hey, that's just my tidbit. I'm not criticizing, I'm just making an observation and also suggesting a solution to my issue. And also, I work with what I have. Love the video

Yes most videos aren’t really too beginner friendly! I agree. With that said, it’s difficult to capture high quality images with lights that aren’t strong enough as well as a camera that doesn’t hold the focus well. When compared to other lights and cameras, the ones mentioned here are on the low end. Also with the Raleno lights unfortunately you have limits ie. You can’t shoot hard light 😢 how do you like the lights though!? And what camera are you working with? I’m curious!❤️📸

@@krausemedia I understand. The light has been a huge difference for me. I'm coming from a ring light, and a hanging bulb covered in a Chinese lantern🤣. I can't wait to share my photos in the group.
I'll definitely upgrade soon though. Jamaica has raised the threshold from $50 to $100 so I have a chance at upgrading.

    Thank you for sharing this!❤
I also have a question about lighting, could I use a Godox SL60IID? And do I need to have a softbox, or I could create a good photo without it?

Yes that’s definitely a great light! The soft box will depend on whether you want hard light or soft light! The soft box will diffuse (soften) the light 😊

    1 light with no reflector?

    • @krausemedia

I usually recommend one light with a white foam board (or a large white poster board) which is something to add a little more light to the scene but not necessary! It all depends on the kind of light you want. The white foam board reduces the shadows on the opposite side of the the light is coming from
