    thank you so much very useful video! I think teacher should chang a Sterile gloves before take the guaze out of the package,because the outside of the package is dirty.just advice.

    Why do we have to irrigate the wound before taking swab ? Wouldn't that be too late ?

      You irrigate first so that you are not getting a sample of another contaminate. The infection will still be there after irrigation therefore you can still pick up microbes to examine with sample
