محترم محمد علی مرزا صاحب، ا لسلام علیکم! رب کریم ہمیشہ آپ پر اپنی رحمتیں اور برکتیں نازل فرمائے۔ آپ کے لیکچرز تقریباً تین سال سے سُن رہا ہوں اور بہت کچھ سیکھ رہا ہوں۔ فرقوں کے اختلافی مسائل پر آپ کا کام قابلِ ستائش ہے، جس سے عام پبلک کے الحمداللہ بیشتر تصورات درست ہو رہے ہیں اور اُنھیں فرقہ واریت کی حقیقت معلوم ہو رہی ہے۔ آپ کا احادیث کے حوالے سے نالج بہت اچھا ہے اور مجھے یہ کہنے میں کوئی ہچکچاہٹ نہیں کہ ہماری ابتدائی تاریخ کے حوالے سے جو احادیث آپ سامنے لائے ہیں، اُن کی وجہ سے میرانکتۂ نظر خصوصاً بنو اُمیہ کی تاریخ کے بارے میں بہت کچھ تبدیل ہوا ہے۔ آپ کے اِس لیکچر سے تاثر ملتا ہے کہ جاوید غامدی صاحب دین کا سورس صرف قرآنِ مجید کو مانتے ہیں۔ بڑے ادب کے ساتھ آپ کی خدمت میں عرض کرتا ہوں کہ یہ تاثر ٹھیک نہیں ہے۔ جاوید غامدی صاحب دین کے سورسز دو مانتے ہیں۔ اُن میں سے ایک "قرآن" ہے اور دوسری "سُنت "۔ سنت میں تمام تر عملی چیزیں ہیں، جو کہ حضرت ابراہیمؑ سے چلی آ رہی تھیں۔ اُن میں جو بھی کمی بیشی تھی، اُسے حضورﷺ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہدایت کے مطابق پورا کر کے اُمت میں بطور دین جاری فرمایا اور اب اِسے سُنتِ رسولﷺ کہا جاتا ہے۔ سُنت میں عقائد اور نظریات نہیں ہوتے، اِس میں صرف عملی پریکٹسز ہوتی ہیں۔ ہمارے ہاں "سُنت" اور احادیث یعنی اخبار آحادکے حوالے سے سب سے بڑی غلط فہمی یہ پائی جاتی ہے کہ یہ دونوں ہم معنی ہیں، جبکہ "سنت " وہ اعمال یا عملی پریکٹسز ہیں، جنھیں رسولﷺ نے مسلمانوں یعنی اپنے ماننے والوں کو دینی طور پر کرنے کا پابند کیا ہے۔ یہ اعمال/ پریکٹسز مراسمِ عبودیت میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً نماز۔ روزہ۔ زکٰوۃ۔ عمرہ و حج، قربانی اور ایام تشریق کی تکبیریں)، معاشرت میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً نکاح و طلاق اور اُن کے متعلقات۔ حیض و نفاس میں زن و شوہر کے تعلق کی ممانیت) اور رسوم و آداب میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً اللہ کا نام لے کر دائیں ہاتھ سے کھانا پینا۔ ملاقات پر السلام علیکم اور اُس کا جواب۔ چھینک آنے پر الحمداللہ کہنا، اور اُس کا جواب "یر حمک اللہ" دینا۔ مونچھیں پست رکھنا۔ زیر ناف اور بغل کے بال صاف کرنا۔ بڑھے ہوئے ناخن کانٹا۔ لڑکوں کا ختنہ کرنا۔ منہ، ناک اور دانتوں کی صفائی کرنا۔ استنجا کرنا۔ غسلِ جنابت کرنا۔ میت کو غسل دینا۔ میت کی تجہیز و تکفین و تدفین۔ عید الفطر و عید الاضحیٰ کے تہوار)۔ یہ وہ اعمال / پریکٹسز ہیں، جنھیں اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے صحابہ کرام کو سکھایا ، عملی طور پر اپنی زندگی میں بھی اختیار کیا اورصحابہ کو بھی دینی طور پر اِنھیں اختیار کرنے کا پابند کیا۔ غور کر لیں کہ اِن چیزوں میں کوئی بھی ایسی نہیں ہے، جس کا حضورﷺ کے زمانے سے لے کر اب تک کبھی انقطاع ہوا ہو۔ یہ وہ اعمال / پریکٹسز ہیں، جو پہلے صحابہ کے اجماع، اور پھر نسل در نسل تواتر سے ہم تک پہنچی ہیں اور ہم بھی دینی طور پر اِنھیں کرنے کے پابند ہیں۔اِن کا علم ہمیں اخبارِ آحاد کے ذریعے نہیں ہوا، جیسے مثال کے طور پر، نماز باجماعت حضورﷺ کے زمانے سے اب تک اُمت پڑھ رہی ہے۔ سب فرقے و مسالک متفق ہیں کہ تطہیر کی غرض سے نماز ادا کرنے سے پہلے وضو ضروری ہے۔ سب متفق ہیں کہ شب و روز میں نماز ہر مسلمان پر پانچ وقت فرض کی گئی ہے (فجر، ظہر، عصر، مغرب اور عشاء)۔ شیعہ حضرات نمازیں پانچ ہی پڑھتے ہیں، صرف اوقات تین کر دیے ہیں۔ سب کا اتفاق ہے کہ فجر کے فرض دو ہیں، ظہر کے چار ، عصر کے چار، مغرب کے تین اور عشاء کے چار ہیں۔ نماز میں اعمال کے حوالے سے سب تکبیر اولیٰ کے ساتھ رفع یدین کرتے ہیں۔ اذکار کے حوالے سے سب سورۃ الفاتحہ پڑھتے ہیں اور ساتھ قرآن مجید کے کسی حصے کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں۔ سب "اللہ اکبر" کہتے ہیں اور رکوع میں جاتے ہیں۔ سب "سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ" کہتے ہوئے رکوع سے اُٹھتے ہیں اور جواب میں "ربنا و لك الحمد" کہا جاتا ہے۔ سب "اللہ اکبر" کہتے ہوئے سجدے میں جاتے ہیں اور دو سجدے کرتے ہیں۔ سب ہر نماز کی دوسری اور آخری رکعت میں دو زانوں ہو کر قعدے کے لیے بیٹھتے ہیں اور پھر اِسی قعدے کی حالت میں سب منہ پھیر کر"اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْکُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ ﷲِ"کہتے ہوئے نماز ختم کرتے ہیں۔اختلاف صرف اُن اعمال اوراذکار میں ہوتا ہے، جنھیں اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے اُمت پر لازم نہیں کیا۔ یعنی اگر نماز کے حوالے سے فقہ کا ڈھیر اوپر سےہٹا دیا جائے ، تو نیچے "سنت " سب کے ہاں ایک ہی ملے گی۔ اوپر بیان کیے گئے دیگر اعمال / پریکٹسز کے حوالے سے بھی نتیجہ یہی سامنے آئے گا۔ جاری ہے۔۔۔۔۔۔ دوسرا حصہ ریپلائی آپشن میں دیکھیئے۔
قرآن مجید میں اِن چیزوں کی تفصیل نہیں ہے، وجہ یہ ہے کہ اِن سب کی سورس قرآن مجید ہے ہی نہیں۔ اِسی طرح اِن سب کی سورس " اخبار آحاد" بھی نہیں ہے، بلکہ "سنت" ہے۔ اِسی لیے کہا جاتا ہے کہ ہمارے دین کی سورسز دو ہیں۔ ایک قرآن مجید اور دوسری سنت۔ دین اِنہی دو صورتوں میں محصور ہے۔ رسول اللہﷺ کےقول و فعل اورتقریر و تصویب کے اخبارِ آحاد جنھیں عام طور پر حدیث کہا جاتا ہے، کی تبلیغ و حفاظت کے لیے حضورﷺ نے کبھی اہتمام نہیں کیا، بلکہ اِنھیں سننے اور دیکھنے والوں کے لیے چھوڑ دیا کہ چاہے تو آگے بیان کریں اور چاہے تو نہ کریں۔ دین سے متعلق جو چیزیں اِن اخبار آحاد میں آتی ہیں، وہ در حقیقت قرآن و سنت میں محصور دین کی تفہیم و تبین اور اِن پر عمل کے لیے حضورﷺ کا اسوہ حسنہ کا بیان ہے۔ اِس کے علاوہ اِن اخبار آحاد میں حضورﷺ اور صحابہ کے زمانے کی تاریخ بھی پائی جاتی ہے۔ تاریخی طور پر معلوم ہے کہ اخبارِ آحادکی بیشتر کتابیں حضورﷺ کے صدیوں بعد لکھی گئیں۔ مثلاً صحیح بخاری اور صحیح مسلم حضورﷺ کے تقریباً دوسو سال بعد وجود میں آئیں۔ جبکہ اعمال / پریکٹسز مراسمِ عبودیت، معاشرت اور رسوم و آداب کے حوالے سے حضورﷺ کے زمانے میں اور حضورﷺ کی اِس دنیا سے رخصتی کے بعد شب و روز جاری تھیں۔ صحابہ کرام اِنھیں سرانجام دے رہے تھے اور تابعین اِن سے سیکھ رہے تھے اور پھر تابعین سے تبع تابعین نے سیکھا اور پھر تبع تبع تابعین نے سیکھا اور اِسی طرح نسل در نسل تواتر کے ساتھ یہ ہم تک پہنچی ہیں۔ حضورﷺ نے اخبارِ آحاد کی تبلیغ و حفاظت کے لیےکبھی اہتمام نہیں کیا، بلکہ اِنھیں سننے اور دیکھنے والوں پر چھوڑ دیا کہ چاہے تو آگے بیان کریں اور چاہے تو نہ کریں۔ چنانچہ صحابہ نےاپنے اپنے مزاج کے مطابق اِنھیں آگے بیان کرنا شروع کر دیا۔ کچھ نے زیادہ کیا اور کچھ نے کم۔ اِس طرح "اخبارِ آحاد"کے یہ ذخائر وجود میں آئے ہیں۔ اِن اخبارِ آحاد کی ذمہ داری حضورﷺ کے اوپر نہیں ہے۔ حضورﷺ نے اُمت کو دین کی حیثیت سے "قرآن مجید" بھی پہنچا دیا اور "سُنت" بھی پہنچا دی اور یوں اُمت کو دین پہنچانے کی ذمہ داری ادا کر دی ۔ یہ جاوید غامدی صاحب کا "سُنت" اور "احادیث" یعنی اخبارِ آحاد کے حوالے سے پورا مؤقف ہے۔ اُمید ہے آپ اِس حوالے سے اُن کی پوری بات پر غور فرمائیں گے۔ بحرحال اختلافِ رائے ہر ایک کا حق ہے۔ میرا دل سے ماننا ہے کہ علمی باتوں میں اختلاف ہو ہی سکتا ہے اور اگر اختلاف واقعتاً علمی ہو، پیچھے کسی قسم کا تعصب، جذبات اور عقیدت کا عنصر نہ ہو، تو یہ ہمیشہ علم کو آگے بڑھانے اور سوچ میں کلیئریٹی لانے کا باعث بنتا ہے۔ اللہ آپ کا حامی و ناصر ہو۔
A regular listner of both Engineer Ali bhai and Great Ustad Ghamidi. I have listened to Ghamidi's response to this. He talked about this in great detail for hours. I don't know whether people don't listen to him carefully or our viewpoints are much biased. I would really recommend everyone here to listen to Ustad Ghamidi's response to make your own mind.
Its very clear that people don't listen to him. People just have a concept since there childhood and they are unable/scared to change that concept. Most so-called scholars (like Tariq Masood sab) just want to defend there Imam's understanding of Islam.

Actually Imam Malik was in Madina, yet most Muslims follow Imam Abu Hanifa. Why Imam Shafi and Imam Ahmed had differencees with previous two imams, even though they were students of them? And if all 4 Imams never made a mistake then why Imam Bukhari rejected (nauzibillah) many of Hadith from their books? Islams approach should be , You can question anyone except Quran and Prophet Muhammad PBUH . Rejection of Hadith is not rejection of saying of Prophet PBUH (nauzibillah) rather it is rejection of narrators.

@@DataMaster786 because Allah himself has taken responsibility to protect Quran where hadiths are compiled 200 years after death of Prophet. And they are compiled by human beings so their are always chances of human errors. That's why their are sahih hadiths and zaeef hadees. Even sahih hadiths can't be 100% assure as sahih and we've to judge them through Qur'an and Sunnah. Qur'an and Sunnah are preserved through "Amli tawatar" of muslims

Engineer Shb's arguments are weak. He didn't mention the Ayat.... Inni mutwafeeKa wa rafiuka..in Imran Secondly, in Siratul Maida the is mutwafeeka not umootuka. Word mutwaffe is always for physical death. We must also take into consideration the Christian point of view which might have influenced muslim theologians like many other misconceptions during 2nd,third century after conquest of their ruled states.

Firs of all the about the Ijmaa, there is a very famous narration that when Prophet Muhammadﷺ passed away, the companions were in a state of shock, especially Omar R.A. who went to such extent that he took out his sword with the intention of beheading anyone who says that the Prophet ﷺ is dead. It was of course a very sentimental moment for every Muslim, and it was Abu Bakar Siddiq R.A. who recited the verses 3:144 وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ It is mentioned that when Omar R.A. heard these verses, he became calmer and later in his life when he recalled this incident, he said that it was as if that was the first time, I had heard this verse as I had never imagined the true meaning of this verse. If you say that the Ijmaa of the Ummah is that Eisa A.S. is alive, then Omar R.A. would have argued that if Eisa can live so can Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. But what we learn from this incident is that the first ever Ijmaa of the Ummah after the passing of the Prophet ﷺ was that all prophets before them had passed away.
I dont agree because at the time when prophet SAW passed away when the ayat was recited by Abu Bakr RAD, Umar RAD he said that it was as if that was first time. This tells us at that time the grieve of demise of Rasulsallallahu had overtaken hazrat Umar. Umar RAD was not only Sahabi left after the prophet but there were lot of sahaba alive. If hazrat umar would have argued then definitely he would have received the answer .
Your Reply to Ijamah At-Tirmidhi (2167) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will not cause my ummah to agree on falsehood; the hand of Allah is with the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims).” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani. The meaning of this hadith is that Allah has protected the scholars of the ummah of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) from unanimously agreeing upon something false. This protection is only for all the scholars of the ummah during any given period. As for the agreement of some of them or most of them on something, that is not protected from error. Similarly, if the common folk are agreed on some matter, that does not indicate that it is true, because what matters here is the scholars, not the common folk or the ignorant. Abu ‘Eesa at-Tirmidhi said in his Sunan: What is meant by the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims), according to the scholars, is the scholars of fiqh, knowledge and hadith. Al-Mulla ‘Ali al-Qaari said: The hadith indicates that if the Muslims unanimously agree on something, then it must be true, and what is meant is the unanimous agreement of the scholars. The consensus of the common folk does not carry any weight, because it is not based on knowledge.
Ghamdi is definitely an scholar but some of his Aqeedas are controversial. Also, Ghamdi sahib is famous in Urdu speaking countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. But outside Indian subcontinent, there are Muslims who never heard the name of Ghamdi, Tareeq Masud, AshrafAli Thanvi, Ahmed Reza Khan Berelevi etc. Out of 1.8 billion Muslims, may be 400 millions are in Indian subcontinent, rest 1.4 billion are outside this area. So Sir, Engineer Ali Mirza is correct, accurate about his analysis backed up by Quran and Saheeh Hadiths. Sahabas, tabeyin, tabe tabeyin, great Imams, famous Hadith scholars, famous Tafseer, thousands of scholars down the centuries agree with Engineer Ali Mirza's view. Ghamdi Sahib is wise scholar,educated but some of his views are controversial. Saheeh Hadiths are crystal clear, unambiguous, explicit that Hazrat Issa was taken alive, will return again. But Ghamdi says - ISSA has died already, like Qadiani, Christians, Jews. Ghamdi 's that analysis of the Quran that Hazrat Issa has died already by using Quran 3:55, 4:157-159 are in contradiction of Aqeeda of Ahle Sunnah Al Jamat, also contradict all tafseers by our previous famous scholars such as Ibne kathir,Tabrani etc. We Muslims respect Ghamdi for his knowledge, but whatever knowledge Ghamdi possesses, we must believe, follow, obey Ahle Sunnah Al Jamat Aqeeda. May Allah save us from new fitna.

You should be convinced by the ijma of the ummat. By millions of scholars where gamdibis the fist to deny in this issue. It is clearly in Quran that he was taken up in the skies. Come to the main body of the ummah. You don't have to bear the burden of reading thousands of arguements on every single issue

Listen to Ghamidi sahab viewpoint on this in “Response to 23 questions” series. He doesn’t deny hadiths on this topic but critque them as “mehl-e-nazar”. Maybe it’s not as literal as people are taking them. Most are the dreams of our prophet (saw) and in dreams the things are dramatized; they are not shown in actual but as a interpretation of some other events.

please do yourself a favour and copy the arabic word for "took me up" ( تَوَفَّيتَني ) and type it in Google translator or in any other online translator and find out what the truth is. Jesus AS is dead and Not coming back! Taking one's soul or body and soul are completely two different things!
It translates as I didn't tell unto them except for which You had commanded me to do that is to worship ALLAH my Lord and your Lord, and i was witness unto them as far as i was among them, but when you completed my time then You were Witnessing them, and You are Witness upon everything. The term wafaat doesn't specifically mean death only, it refers to the completion of term or time.
The Hadees are one of the most important traceability documents in Islamic literature as through it we can verify the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. If we did not have Hadees, instead of the minor differences in Salat that exist today, there would have been major differences, considering the nature of us humans in bringing innovations and applying self-guided principles. In fact, we might not even have Salat the way we perform today because the Quran does not give specific directions on how to perform Salat. It was indeed this need and various others that were recognized by those wise people like Bukhari, Muslim, Abi Daud, Ibne-Maja, and others who went through the painful journey of gathering all the sayings of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ , compilation, verification, validation and publication. This was a mammoth effort by those great people, in fact, the books of Hadees are also one of the miracles of God so that Sunnah stays alive forever in the Ummah.
First, be clear that I am quite a fan of yours in many of your view points. But, that said: 1. Just like Hajj, Salat is also Sunnat Ibrahimi and was also performed before Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH). People knew how to perform it. Just like Hajj, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) corrected the wrong. People performed the way He (PBUH) performed. He (PBUH) didn't tell them how to do it. 2. You, yourself say that Hazrat Issah (PBUH) says that he will come back and will stay for 40 years and be taken up again. Will he be taken up alive again, just like as first time, or dead? You are using the same words as in his (PBUH) first appearance but, contradictory argument in second appearance. 3. If Hazrat Issa (PBUH) was to come back again, the Christian of that time would have the same faith also, so, in His (PBUH) conversation with Allah would have been that "once I went back second time I corrected them. Mr. Mirza, your arguments are still not to the ilmi & Aqli standards. 4. You, yourself, goes against majority of Muslim in many a aqeedas so, don't give me an argument to go with majority (ijmai ummat). Keep your ego aside when in discussion. Thnx.

In translation of the 5:116, فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ The hadees 4625 of Bukhari Kitab-u-Tafseer, should be enough to clarify the meaning of the word “Tawaffaitani” once in for all, where the Prophet Mohammed ﷺ has used the same words for himself. Now we all know that Prophet Mohammed ﷺ died here right on this earth, so to say that when these words are used for Eisa A.S., it should be translated as “ascend to sky”, is not acceptable because the translation provided by the Prophet Mohammed ﷺ will always be considered as final. It should also be noted that the section Katab-u-Tafseer of Bukhari is where all narrations are related to commentaries of the Holy Quran provided by none other than Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. In addition to the verses related to Eisa A.S., the word “Tawaffa” is used 24 times in the Holy Quran and every time is used for the capture of soul. In justification of the incorrect translation, many often refer to 39:42 and 6:60 where Allah uses the same word for capturing the soul while asleep. The fact that is ignored is that Allah uses the word to capture the souls, not the body. But for 5:116, they say that the whole body was ascended which is clearly an incorrect translation. To further justify the true meaning of the word “TAWAFFAITANI”, Imam Bukhari has also mentioned a reference to Ibne Abbas R.A. who has clearly said that the word means death. Ibne Abbas, a companion of high stature, a cousin of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ, and one through whom hundreds of hadees are narrated, surely it was a very wise act of imam Bukhari to mention his translation. Some scholars get confused and say that this is a week hadees because it has no number. Please note that this translation of Ibne Abbas is not a hadees, that’s why it has no number. It was the wisdom of Imam Bukhari to mention this translation so that people don’t look further and get misguided by other scholars. The death of Eisa A.S. is also confirmed by the Hadith related to the incident of Miraj where the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ met with Eisa A.S. along with the prophets. We all know that the other prophets died right here in this earth and their bodies were also buried right here on this earth. So, when the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ met with the other prophets, their existence must be in some spiritual form which is after death. And to say that Eisa A.S. was able to exist in that place with his actual body sounds absurd.

آپ کے لیکچرز تقریباً تین سال سے سُن رہا ہوں اور بہت کچھ سیکھ رہا ہوں۔ فرقوں کے اختلافی مسائل پر آپ کا کام قابلِ ستائش ہے، جس سے عام پبلک کے الحمداللہ بیشتر تصورات درست ہو رہے ہیں اور اُنھیں فرقہ واریت کی حقیقت معلوم ہو رہی ہے۔ آپ کا احادیث کے حوالے سے نالج بہت اچھا ہے اور مجھے یہ کہنے میں کوئی ہچکچاہٹ نہیں کہ ہماری ابتدائی تاریخ کے حوالے سے جو احادیث آپ سامنے لائے ہیں، اُن کی وجہ سے میرانکتۂ نظر خصوصاً بنو اُمیہ کی تاریخ کے بارے میں بہت کچھ تبدیل ہوا ہے۔
آپ کے اِس لیکچر سے تاثر ملتا ہے کہ جاوید غامدی صاحب دین کا سورس صرف قرآنِ مجید کو مانتے ہیں۔ بڑے ادب کے ساتھ آپ کی خدمت میں عرض کرتا ہوں کہ یہ تاثر ٹھیک نہیں ہے۔ جاوید غامدی صاحب دین کے سورسز دو مانتے ہیں۔ اُن میں سے ایک "قرآن" ہے اور دوسری "سُنت "۔ سنت میں تمام تر عملی چیزیں ہیں، جو کہ حضرت ابراہیمؑ سے چلی آ رہی تھیں۔ اُن میں جو بھی کمی بیشی تھی، اُسے حضورﷺ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی ہدایت کے مطابق پورا کر کے اُمت میں بطور دین جاری فرمایا اور اب اِسے سُنتِ رسولﷺ کہا جاتا ہے۔ سُنت میں عقائد اور نظریات نہیں ہوتے، اِس میں صرف عملی پریکٹسز ہوتی ہیں۔
ہمارے ہاں "سُنت" اور احادیث یعنی اخبار آحادکے حوالے سے سب سے بڑی غلط فہمی یہ پائی جاتی ہے کہ یہ دونوں ہم معنی ہیں، جبکہ "سنت " وہ اعمال یا عملی پریکٹسز ہیں، جنھیں رسولﷺ نے مسلمانوں یعنی اپنے ماننے والوں کو دینی طور پر کرنے کا پابند کیا ہے۔ یہ اعمال/ پریکٹسز مراسمِ عبودیت میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً نماز۔ روزہ۔ زکٰوۃ۔ عمرہ و حج، قربانی اور ایام تشریق کی تکبیریں)، معاشرت میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً نکاح و طلاق اور اُن کے متعلقات۔ حیض و نفاس میں زن و شوہر کے تعلق کی ممانیت) اور رسوم و آداب میں بھی ہیں (مثلاً اللہ کا نام لے کر دائیں ہاتھ سے کھانا پینا۔ ملاقات پر السلام علیکم اور اُس کا جواب۔ چھینک آنے پر الحمداللہ کہنا، اور اُس کا جواب "یر حمک اللہ" دینا۔ مونچھیں پست رکھنا۔ زیر ناف اور بغل کے بال صاف کرنا۔ بڑھے ہوئے ناخن کانٹا۔ لڑکوں کا ختنہ کرنا۔ منہ، ناک اور دانتوں کی صفائی کرنا۔ استنجا کرنا۔ غسلِ جنابت کرنا۔ میت کو غسل دینا۔ میت کی تجہیز و تکفین و تدفین۔ عید الفطر و عید الاضحیٰ کے تہوار)۔
یہ وہ اعمال / پریکٹسز ہیں، جنھیں اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے صحابہ کرام کو سکھایا ، عملی طور پر اپنی زندگی میں بھی اختیار کیا اورصحابہ کو بھی دینی طور پر اِنھیں اختیار کرنے کا پابند کیا۔ غور کر لیں کہ اِن چیزوں میں کوئی بھی ایسی نہیں ہے، جس کا حضورﷺ کے زمانے سے لے کر اب تک کبھی انقطاع ہوا ہو۔ یہ وہ اعمال / پریکٹسز ہیں، جو پہلے صحابہ کے اجماع، اور پھر نسل در نسل تواتر سے ہم تک پہنچی ہیں اور ہم بھی دینی طور پر اِنھیں کرنے کے پابند ہیں۔اِن کا علم ہمیں اخبارِ آحاد کے ذریعے نہیں ہوا، جیسے مثال کے طور پر، نماز باجماعت حضورﷺ کے زمانے سے اب تک اُمت پڑھ رہی ہے۔ سب فرقے و مسالک متفق ہیں کہ تطہیر کی غرض سے نماز ادا کرنے سے پہلے وضو ضروری ہے۔ سب متفق ہیں کہ شب و روز میں نماز ہر مسلمان پر پانچ وقت فرض کی گئی ہے (فجر، ظہر، عصر، مغرب اور عشاء)۔ شیعہ حضرات نمازیں پانچ ہی پڑھتے ہیں، صرف اوقات تین کر دیے ہیں۔ سب کا اتفاق ہے کہ فجر کے فرض دو ہیں، ظہر کے چار ، عصر کے چار، مغرب کے تین اور عشاء کے چار ہیں۔ نماز میں اعمال کے حوالے سے سب تکبیر اولیٰ کے ساتھ رفع یدین کرتے ہیں۔ اذکار کے حوالے سے سب سورۃ الفاتحہ پڑھتے ہیں اور ساتھ قرآن مجید کے کسی حصے کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں۔ سب "اللہ اکبر" کہتے ہیں اور رکوع میں جاتے ہیں۔ سب "سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ" کہتے ہوئے رکوع سے اُٹھتے ہیں اور جواب میں "ربنا و لك الحمد" کہا جاتا ہے۔ سب "اللہ اکبر" کہتے ہوئے سجدے میں جاتے ہیں اور دو سجدے کرتے ہیں۔ سب ہر نماز کی دوسری اور آخری رکعت میں دو زانوں ہو کر قعدے کے لیے بیٹھتے ہیں اور پھر اِسی قعدے کی حالت میں سب منہ پھیر کر"اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْکُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ ﷲِ"کہتے ہوئے نماز ختم کرتے ہیں۔اختلاف صرف اُن اعمال اوراذکار میں ہوتا ہے، جنھیں اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے اُمت پر لازم نہیں کیا۔ یعنی اگر نماز کے حوالے سے فقہ کا ڈھیر اوپر سےہٹا دیا جائے ، تو نیچے "سنت " سب کے ہاں ایک ہی ملے گی۔ اوپر بیان کیے گئے دیگر اعمال / پریکٹسز کے حوالے سے بھی نتیجہ یہی سامنے آئے گا۔

قرآن مجید میں اِن چیزوں کی تفصیل نہیں ہے، وجہ یہ ہے کہ اِن سب کی سورس قرآن مجید ہے ہی نہیں۔ اِسی طرح اِن سب کی سورس " اخبار آحاد" بھی نہیں ہے، بلکہ "سنت" ہے۔ اِسی لیے کہا جاتا ہے کہ ہمارے دین کی سورسز دو ہیں۔ ایک قرآن مجید اور دوسری سنت۔ دین اِنہی دو صورتوں میں محصور ہے۔ رسول اللہﷺ کےقول و فعل اورتقریر و تصویب کے اخبارِ آحاد جنھیں عام طور پر حدیث کہا جاتا ہے، کی تبلیغ و حفاظت کے لیے حضورﷺ نے کبھی اہتمام نہیں کیا، بلکہ اِنھیں سننے اور دیکھنے والوں کے لیے چھوڑ دیا کہ چاہے تو آگے بیان کریں اور چاہے تو نہ کریں۔ دین سے متعلق جو چیزیں اِن اخبار آحاد میں آتی ہیں، وہ در حقیقت قرآن و سنت میں محصور دین کی تفہیم و تبین اور اِن پر عمل کے لیے حضورﷺ کا اسوہ حسنہ کا بیان ہے۔ اِس کے علاوہ اِن اخبار آحاد میں حضورﷺ اور صحابہ کے زمانے کی تاریخ بھی پائی جاتی ہے۔ تاریخی طور پر معلوم ہے کہ اخبارِ آحادکی بیشتر کتابیں حضورﷺ کے صدیوں بعد لکھی گئیں۔ مثلاً صحیح بخاری اور صحیح مسلم حضورﷺ کے تقریباً دوسو سال بعد وجود میں آئیں۔ جبکہ اعمال / پریکٹسز مراسمِ عبودیت، معاشرت اور رسوم و آداب کے حوالے سے حضورﷺ کے زمانے میں اور حضورﷺ کی اِس دنیا سے رخصتی کے بعد شب و روز جاری تھیں۔ صحابہ کرام اِنھیں سرانجام دے رہے تھے اور تابعین اِن سے سیکھ رہے تھے اور پھر تابعین سے تبع تابعین نے سیکھا اور پھر تبع تبع تابعین نے سیکھا اور اِسی طرح نسل در نسل تواتر کے ساتھ یہ ہم تک پہنچی ہیں۔
حضورﷺ نے اخبارِ آحاد کی تبلیغ و حفاظت کے لیےکبھی اہتمام نہیں کیا، بلکہ اِنھیں سننے اور دیکھنے والوں پر چھوڑ دیا کہ چاہے تو آگے بیان کریں اور چاہے تو نہ کریں۔ چنانچہ صحابہ نےاپنے اپنے مزاج کے مطابق اِنھیں آگے بیان کرنا شروع کر دیا۔ کچھ نے زیادہ کیا اور کچھ نے کم۔ اِس طرح "اخبارِ آحاد"کے یہ ذخائر وجود میں آئے ہیں۔ اِن اخبارِ آحاد کی ذمہ داری حضورﷺ کے اوپر نہیں ہے۔ حضورﷺ نے اُمت کو دین کی حیثیت سے "قرآن مجید" بھی پہنچا دیا اور "سُنت" بھی پہنچا دی اور یوں اُمت کو دین پہنچانے کی ذمہ داری ادا کر دی ۔
یہ جاوید غامدی صاحب کا "سُنت" اور "احادیث" یعنی اخبارِ آحاد کے حوالے سے پورا مؤقف ہے۔ اُمید ہے آپ اِس حوالے سے اُن کی پوری بات پر غور فرمائیں گے۔ بحرحال اختلافِ رائے ہر ایک کا حق ہے۔ میرا دل سے ماننا ہے کہ علمی باتوں میں اختلاف ہو ہی سکتا ہے اور اگر اختلاف واقعتاً علمی ہو، پیچھے کسی قسم کا تعصب، جذبات اور عقیدت کا عنصر نہ ہو، تو یہ ہمیشہ علم کو آگے بڑھانے اور سوچ میں کلیئریٹی لانے کا باعث بنتا ہے۔ اللہ آپ کا حامی و ناصر ہو۔

Why Imam Malik and Imam Hanifa have differences even though they were of same era. Actually Imam Malik was in Madina, yet most Muslims follow Imam Abu Hanifa.

And they are compiled by human beings so their are always chances of human errors. That's why their are sahih hadiths and zaeef hadees. Firs of all the about the Ijmaa, there is a very famous narration that when Prophet Muhammadﷺ passed away, the companions were in a state of shock, especially Omar R.A. who went to such extent that he took out his sword with the intention of beheading anyone who says that the Prophet ﷺ is dead. It was of course a very sentimental moment for every Muslim, and it was Abu Bakar Siddiq R.A. who recited the verses 3:144
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ
It is mentioned that when Omar R.A. heard these verses, he became calmer and later in his life when he recalled this incident, he said that it was as if that was the first time, I had heard this verse as I had never imagined the true meaning of this verse.
If you say that the Ijmaa of the Ummah is that Eisa A.S. is alive, then Omar R.A. would have argued that if Eisa can live so can Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. But what we learn from this incident is that the first ever Ijmaa of the Ummah after the passing of the Prophet ﷺ was that all prophets before them had passed away.

I dont agree because at the time when prophet SAW passed away when the ayat was recited by Abu Bakr RAD, Umar RAD he said that it was as if that was first time. This tells us at that time the grieve of demise of Rasulsallallahu had overtaken hazrat Umar. Umar RAD was not only Sahabi left after the prophet but there were lot of sahaba alive. If hazrat umar would have argued then definitely he would have received the answer .

At-Tirmidhi (2167) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will not cause my ummah to agree on falsehood; the hand of Allah is with the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims).” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani.
The meaning of this hadith is that Allah has protected the scholars of the ummah of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) from unanimously agreeing upon something false.
This protection is only for all the scholars of the ummah during any given period. As for the agreement of some of them or most of them on something, that is not protected from error.
Similarly, if the common folk are agreed on some matter, that does not indicate that it is true, because what matters here is the scholars, not the common folk or the ignorant.
Abu ‘Eesa at-Tirmidhi said in his Sunan: What is meant by the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims), according to the scholars, is the scholars of fiqh, knowledge and hadith.
Al-Mulla ‘Ali al-Qaari said: The hadith indicates that if the Muslims unanimously agree on something, then it must be true, and what is meant is the unanimous agreement of the scholars. The consensus of the common folk does not carry any weight, because it is not based on knowledge.

Ghamdi is definitely an scholar but some of his Aqeedas are controversial.
Also, Ghamdi sahib is famous in Urdu speaking countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh. But outside Indian subcontinent, there are Muslims who never heard the name of Ghamdi, Tareeq Masud, AshrafAli Thanvi, Ahmed Reza Khan Berelevi etc.
Out of 1.8 billion Muslims, may be 400 millions are in Indian subcontinent, rest 1.4 billion are outside this area.
So Sir, Engineer Ali Mirza is correct, accurate about his analysis backed up by Quran and Saheeh Hadiths.
Sahabas, tabeyin, tabe tabeyin, great Imams, famous Hadith scholars, famous Tafseer, thousands of scholars down the centuries agree with Engineer Ali Mirza's view.
Ghamdi Sahib is wise scholar,educated but some of his views are controversial.
Saheeh Hadiths are crystal clear, unambiguous, explicit that Hazrat Issa was taken alive, will return again. But Ghamdi says - ISSA has died already, like Qadiani, Christians, Jews.
Ghamdi 's that analysis of the Quran that Hazrat Issa has died already by using Quran 3:55, 4:157-159 are in contradiction of Aqeeda of Ahle Sunnah Al Jamat, also contradict all tafseers by our previous famous scholars such as Ibne kathir,Tabrani etc.
We Muslims respect Ghamdi for his knowledge, but whatever knowledge Ghamdi possesses, we must believe, follow, obey Ahle Sunnah Al Jamat Aqeeda.
May Allah save us from new fitna.

Listen to Ghamidi sahab viewpoint on this in “Response to 23 questions” series. He doesn’t deny hadiths on this topic but critque them as “mehl-e-nazar”. Maybe it’s not as literal as people are taking them. Most are the dreams of our prophet (saw) and in dreams the things are dramatized; they are not shown in actual but as a interpretation of some other events.

@@ridudragneel219 please also remember that ghamdi sahb is only a human not a prophet and thus can not be trusted in every afair, the returning of Hazrat Isa AS has been told by prophet Muhammad SAW and has been confirmed by the sahaba and their students (the greatest scholars of all time) and also by the scholars of today(mufti tariq masood and engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza) One person saying opposite to what all of the above said won't change anything
وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرۡيَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآ أَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَرۡجِعُونَAnd there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return

It translates as
I didn't tell unto them except for which You had commanded me to do that is to worship ALLAH my Lord and your Lord, and i was witness unto them as far as i was among them, but when you completed my time then You were Witnessing them, and You are Witness upon everything.
The term wafaat doesn't specifically mean death only, it refers to the completion of term or time.
The view point of Ghamdi sb is correct.
The Hadees are one of the most important traceability documents in Islamic literature as through it we can verify the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. If we did not have Hadees, instead of the minor differences in Salat that exist today, there would have been major differences, considering the nature of us humans in bringing innovations and applying self-guided principles. In fact, we might not even have Salat the way we perform today because the Quran does not give specific directions on how to perform Salat. It was indeed this need and various others that were recognized by those wise people like Bukhari, Muslim, Abi Daud, Ibne-Maja, and others who went through the painful journey of gathering all the sayings of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ , compilation, verification, validation and publication. This was a mammoth effort by those great people, in fact, the books of Hadees are also one of the miracles of God so that Sunnah stays alive forever in the Ummah.

First, be clear that I am quite a fan of yours in many of your view points. But, that said:
1. Just like Hajj, Salat is also Sunnat Ibrahimi and was also performed before Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH). People knew how to perform it. Just like Hajj, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) corrected the wrong. People performed the way He (PBUH) performed. He (PBUH) didn't tell them how to do it.
2. You, yourself say that Hazrat Issah (PBUH) says that he will come back and will stay for 40 years and be taken up again. Will he be taken up alive again, just like as first time, or dead? You are using the same words as in his (PBUH) first appearance but, contradictory argument in second appearance.
3. If Hazrat Issa (PBUH) was to come back again, the Christian of that time would have the same faith also, so, in His (PBUH) conversation with Allah would have been that "once I went back second time I corrected them.
Mr. Mirza, your arguments are still not to the ilmi & Aqli standards.
4. You, yourself, goes against majority of Muslim in many a aqeedas so, don't give me an argument to go with majority (ijmai ummat).

In translation of the 5:116,
فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ
The hadees 4625 of Bukhari Kitab-u-Tafseer, should be enough to clarify the meaning of the word “Tawaffaitani” once in for all, where the Prophet Mohammed ﷺ has used the same words for himself. Now we all know that Prophet Mohammed ﷺ died here right on this earth, so to say that when these words are used for Eisa A.S., it should be translated as “ascend to sky”, is not acceptable because the translation provided by the Prophet Mohammed ﷺ will always be considered as final. It should also be noted that the section Katab-u-Tafseer of Bukhari is where all narrations are related to commentaries of the Holy Quran provided by none other than Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself.
In addition to the verses related to Eisa A.S., the word “Tawaffa” is used 24 times in the Holy Quran and every time is used for the capture of soul. In justification of the incorrect translation, many often refer to 39:42 and 6:60 where Allah uses the same word for capturing the soul while asleep. The fact that is ignored is that Allah uses the word to capture the souls, not the body. But for 5:116, they say that the whole body was ascended which is clearly an incorrect translation.
To further justify the true meaning of the word “TAWAFFAITANI”, Imam Bukhari has also mentioned a reference to Ibne Abbas R.A. who has clearly said that the word means death. Ibne Abbas, a companion of high stature, a cousin of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ, and one through whom hundreds of hadees are narrated, surely it was a very wise act of imam Bukhari to mention his translation. Some scholars get confused and say that this is a week hadees because it has no number. Please note that this translation of Ibne Abbas is not a hadees, that’s why it has no number. It was the wisdom of Imam Bukhari to mention this translation so that people don’t look further and get misguided by other scholars.
The death of Eisa A.S. is also confirmed by the Hadith related to the incident of Miraj where the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ met with Eisa A.S. along with the prophets. We all know that the other prophets died right here in this earth and their bodies were also buried right here on this earth. So, when the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ met with the other prophets, their existence must be in some spiritual form which is after death. And to say that Eisa A.S. was able to exist in that place with his actual body sounds absurd.
