So many people seem to misunderstand what is happening here. The guard doesn’t shout because he’s angry or because he’s being disrespected. The shout of “do not touch the king’s guard” seems to be a standard response when anyone tries to touch them. After all, they are there to provide protection in case of an attack, so any stranger touching them could be a potential threat. This man is a soldier on duty and he is simply doing his job.

It's also a public place, if someone wants to take a picture with them, they can, and they can't do anything, because again, it's a public place and you can film and take pictures of people in public (if appropriate).

They are very famous in the UK, people like to take pictures with famous things or people. Don't be so sensitive, she didn't hug him or something, but she just touched him a little with her hand. It's also a public place, if someone wants to take a picture with them, they can, and they can't do anything, because again, it's a public place and you can film and take pictures of people in public (if appropriate).

If this person had used her common sense (I’m probably giving her far too much credit here by assuming she has some) and stood a bit farther away from the soldier she would have got her photo without a problem. You wouldn’t go up to an on-duty soldier in another country and stand so close to him that you were actually touching him so why would it be ok here just because the guard has a ceremonial uniform on?
