A military cargo plane losing its wheels after it "skidded" on the runway? I think it was more the a simple "skidding" for the military-grade landing wheels to get detached.

a further investigation both in the military and aircraft manufacture should be done to improve if it not human error..

Things the investigator will look at: Was the plane overloaded? Was landing speed too high? Was rate of descent too high? Was the airstrip unsafe due to waterlogging? Was the plane properly maintained? Was the pilot qualified? etc...
