It used to be called 45 but it's under a different name now I believe. It's on the new Feared Album. Check out the full album stream on Ola's channel and the video has the names of the songs.
When recording the strings above the nut can still be heard. That mutes the strings above the nut. For some 'soft' solos (along the line of Satch) it can be pulled over the first fret to mute the rest of the strings while playing the rest of the notes.
@diabolic5150 What is the Nazgul pickup meant for? It sounds like a djenty kind of pickup. That's what I assume it would be for since Seymour Duncan doesn't really have one that is eq'ed specifically for djent.
Hello Keith, I was just curious if you have ever played through a line 6 DT series head or combo? I notice you do different gear reviews but it seems you only own the best of what's out there. I own a dt50 head but I have been on the fence about it since I bought it..just wondering what your expert thoughts would be. I enjoy watching your awesome videos dude so keep up the great work.. rock★
I know what it does, but I was wondering if that's necessary on an acoustic guitar. Maybe it even decreases the amount of overtones coming out, which would be a bad thing.
Hi Keith Merrow. I would like to know if the sound of the video is a pure output of the jamUp pro application or if it was tweaked somehow in the DAW with a VST plugin or a EQ. I'm asking this because the sound I have is far from what i can hear here. I have Loomis Schecter JL-7 2014, I've used your preset KM-Modern that you're using here and the sound is not even close to what I see here.
Schredcter Tweaked doesn't mean fake... All "pro-recorded" tracks are tweaked, you should know that, whatever the gear used. If you expect to have the same sound just by having the same gear, you're wrong. Just the fact that recording 2 times the same riff and pan it right and left already makes a huge difference in the sound... yet that's not much tweaking. And that's probably what makes you feel you are way too far from having the same sound. And I don't know why you bring that "...it's "advertised" like this but if it's tweaked it's fake..." argument, because there's no such thing like "Raw JamUp Pro sound" written in there ^^
Most likely he's post-eq'ing these tracks, and you'll never get this kind of tone while monitoring your playing via jamup. It's impossible as this is multiple tracks layered on top of each other which is giving him that thickness.
what are the things called that keith has on the headstock of his guitars? I know it's a muffer. it's right on the bone of the guitar ..I'm trying to locate um on ebay..
Ola's music in Feared is so good. Great chord progressions and melodies.
Naturally Keith chose to cover my all time favourite Feared song... and he did an AMAZING job !
Keith , you are real 7 strings virtuoso.
im addicted to these videos
Sounds great
Ahhhh brotherly love.....
I love the look of your new mayones Keith, especially the eye poplar and wenge.
I don't know why it feels so cool to see you guys playing each others songs.
My favorite Ola song for sure

Beautiful guitar......
they are nothing short of amazing
I would actually cry tears of joy if you joined the band Textures, regardless this is what metal should be!
Keith Morrow knows how to make some wicked ass music. Your riffs are simply incredible!
I don't know what is but I love a lot of your music. It fulls my aggression for metal and the "heavyness" is just right.
Hot damn that's a lot of crunch in the tone, a seriously rugged sound you found there
2:38 Omg... you scared me!
2:37 Jesus Christ Keith you made me shit myself
I ask because I really like the use of melody plus the heaviness.
Amazing piece of metal, all hope is not lost!
Awesome!...I love this guitar sound! I've been looking for something new, and this is it!.....bob
What a sound..ths is great!
It used to be called 45 but it's under a different name now I believe. It's on the new Feared Album. Check out the full album stream on Ola's channel and the video has the names of the songs.
Oh man this is awesomesauce. Day is made, right here.
Dude, listen to that deep TONE!! This guitar is massive, huge volume! It has a very special and very solid character!
When recording the strings above the nut can still be heard. That mutes the strings above the nut. For some 'soft' solos (along the line of Satch) it can be pulled over the first fret to mute the rest of the strings while playing the rest of the notes.
Damn that looks so comfy to play
Man my next 7 is definitely gonna be a Mayones, what splendid axes!!
You Guys Should Make An Album Together!! And that Mayones is pure WIN!!!
@diabolic5150 What is the Nazgul pickup meant for? It sounds like a djenty kind of pickup. That's what I assume it would be for since Seymour Duncan doesn't really have one that is eq'ed specifically for djent.
awesomely agressive mix/tone
Keith and Ola improve the world.
Watching Keith playing this is so fucking awesome
Great playing!!

I SEE YOU IN MY SLEEP CAUSE OF THAT DAMN FACE.

very nice
2:37 :D :D you got me :D :D :D
what is the red and black thing nearby the headstock? and what is its function? tq
looking a bit smug at 2:38... Love it.
the song is called 45 by Feared.
Where can I find that "String Blocker" at the top of guitar ? I dont know how it's called in English
I've heard he likes the 26' 1/4'' scale... but I don't know If they make Mayo's on that scale, so it might be a 27.
Keith, you totally look like Jordan Rudess` younger brother!
Now I want to see Jordan and Keith jam together.
Akira Takade I wouldn't because my brain could explode :)
Pls can u tell me where I can buy the string stopper you own?
Cool video
I love this tone to death, and I do really mean it...

Bloodlines6262 Yeah, would like to know how it's tweaked. Because here on the video it's "advertised" like this but if it's tweaked it's fake...

HOLY amazeballs
You guys should make a band!
mmmm Studio One Professional
Hahaha. That face at 2:38 just made my day. Awesome video!
Anyone know which occupies keith programs for these issues?
does anyone know what the neck wood configuration on this is?
can someone tell me why he puts that thing ..band or whatever it is across his head on his guitar ?
Brola. Hope that catches on.
I love your Ola face at 2:38
I know they help on the string vibration and feedback..
i wish i could get my jamup to sound like that..
That guitar is fucking GORGEOUS
What is that thing you have wrapped at the top of the neck? What does it do?
2 good man!
haha, love it. Both you and Ola rock muchly. \m/ Quick ques, your Mayones looks beautiful. What's your opinion on how it plays?
Any chance you two making a project/album together ? :D I guess everyone would love that \m/
New Seymour Duncans. Nazgul in the bridge and Sentient in the neck position.
what are the things called that keith has on the headstock of his guitars? I know it's a muffer. it's right on the bone of the guitar ..I'm trying to locate um on ebay..
Gruv gear fret wrap
I got it already. Thanks bro
Anytime bro!
Only one word needed to describe that... absolutely amazing...
Fuck!!! that was two words!!!
so what all you need to be able to run jam up on your ipad??
Nailed
Kieth you are a fucking beast my friend...
what is that thing on your guitar nut? where can i get one?
are the mayones worth the money? im thinking about getting one
Some excerpts sounds like Bridges In The Sky
THAT GUITAAAAAR !!!
I like Keith's sweatshirt!
It's used to dampen the strings, so that he doesn't get any unwanted string noise.
This maybe weird, but your beard.. Goatee thing is brutal and amazing!
Is the fretwrap really necessary with an acoustic guitar?
1.44 is kinda like PTH- Limb from Limb ending riff LOL
at 1:43 I keep seeing Ola jammin on his desk chair in that green bodysuit thing lmfaooo
i have one question: do you use the small or the medium fretwrap on your 7 string guitar? amazing song by the way!
hah! I knew you would have to do one of his too! :D \m/
It's a gruv gear fret wrap. It kills the overtones/ringing sound when playing guitar and is great for studio playing
I think you can do much more with solo,if you loosen up a little.
