thank you so much!! i don’t know if old me would’ve ever believed she’d become the artist i am now, and even though i still have a long way to go, that thought makes me really happy ;u;
I really need to learn to save regularly. I haven't had the pleasure of losing a piece yet, but I frequently find myself going for multiple hour stretches before realizing I never saved anything.
tbh ur old art seems really nostalgic to me. like it really dates itself and for some reason i like it i mean DUH ur current art is better but i think the old stuff isnt that bad compared to what i was expecting
ive actually never purposely gotten rid of art i thought was bad. so much to the point where i have all my art dating back to around 2nd grade for me. most of it was on paper so, yes, i do have whole drawers of old drawings and an overflowing basket of sketchbooks.
Watching these videos always give me more confidence in my art. I’m a younger artist and seeing others art from my age make me feel like that my art isn’t as bad as I think it is
12:55 OMG! Windows used to do that ALL THE TIME! It was so annoying especially because it basically showed up in the background, so you’re just doing stuff, then you computer just randomly shuts off and says it’s “Updating”. Glad they don’t do that any more 😒😒😒😒
"Tsukasa who hurt you... ?" Duchess Celestia drew Miku not click bait gone wrong I made a video on my alt a while back making fun of my old art and cringey emo phase. But it truly is amazing seeing how far you come with what you do. And I think it's wonderful that you're sharing this with us so the people who look up to you (oh wait i am one of those) can be reminded that you were cringe once too xD
OH MAN i drew so much vocaloid fanart back then that i wish i still had and could’ve shown omggg yeah, it’s a lot fun to be able to look back on old work and see how much things have changed (and in my case, how bad they once were lmaooo) and thank you so much omg ;;;
For what it's worth, I was very very amused by this video and pretty much couldn't stop laughing the whole way through XD It's really cool that you can look back and roast your own art in such good stride- and it made for really amusing content
i died of laughter during this the explanations of how the anatomy is are so hilarious be glad i didn’t attempt to drink the water while watching this i coulda died
“Rather than hiding them behind the characters back, which..” *You have given me an idea and an inspiration. I shall no longer have to draw hands.* _Nyehehehe_
Dude i can’t draw hair for shit, and i just turned 14. In so many of these drawings the hair and highlights look really well in place, which i just cannot do. I hope to draw like you someday (not necessarily child you tho- lmao) thank you so much for your content and A M A Z I N G art.
1:10 Pointy wrists are fine, if you're rather skinny like me, your wrists will look pointy in certain angles. Since that character looks rather skinny, the pointy wrist is fine.
Honestly this video rubbed me the wrong way :( I'd love to see this kind of video, but in the opposite way! Looking back and your previous work with some respect, as a stepping stone to get you to the next thing. A new skill that you learned, the first time you NAILED something you had been struggling with, etc. When I look at this art, I don't cringe at pointy kneecaps or whatever. I admire the consistency and the execution and the vision. To create SOMETHING. To not quit halfway through. To maximize the most of your resources, skill set, and imagination. And who gives a flying HECK if there's a disproportionate body part? I don't
Hahaha, as bad as it is, i think ur old art is still adorable, i loved to see them all, your progress really pops off thanks to that!
ahahaha thank you so much!!
@@DuchessCelestia Honestly you’re better than me at drawing when I was 12 years old
@@DuchessCelestiaI actually love your older art
The progress is amazing imagine how proud old you would be as well !!
thank you so much!! i don’t know if old me would’ve ever believed she’d become the artist i am now, and even though i still have a long way to go, that thought makes me really happy ;u;
@@DuchessCelestia No problem glad I did ^-^
Us artists might hate our own art now but we can take some solace in the fact that it is better than what we drew as children 😭
I really need to learn to save regularly. I haven't had the pleasure of losing a piece yet, but I frequently find myself going for multiple hour stretches before realizing I never saved anything.
oh man i feel that, you’re lucky you haven’t lost any pieces yet!!

You drew really good at 11 years old
ahahaha i disagree, but thank you!!

YEAH OMG i saw a screenshot of the prompt a while ago and my brain played the kill bill sirens while my vision turned red

I was looking back at my own art, and the severe amount of same face syndrome i had was just lovely.
The good thing about saving my old art is i used to be a traditional artist before i started digital so i still have them no matter what 😅
For what it's worth, I was very very amused by this video and pretty much couldn't stop laughing the whole way through XD It's really cool that you can look back and roast your own art in such good stride- and it made for really amusing content

I actually love my old drawings! Everyone should at the very least understanding that you can’t be where you are without it!
finding her old art adorable really gives me the reassurance that my own old art is just that, old art, and it im the only one who doesnt like it
I LOVE THIS VIDEO, I’VE LAUGHED MULTIPLE TIMES /POS
YESSSS !!! I LOVE YOUR ASUNA PIC!!!!!I don’t know anyone else who watched it,,, your young art is so precious

Amazing content
thank u senpai
Oh my gosh!! Your humour literally made me cry! 😭😂
You’re pretty tough on your 12yr old art standards, mine were about the same... maybe even worse 😅
I will repeat the wise words of somebody on royale high “we all begin somewhere”
3:40 konata, kagami, tsukasa, miyuki.. what happened to yall??
I love the little GG references in ur videos sm 😭😭💕
It would be interesting to see you redrawing your favorites of this video-

A M A Z I N G art.
I lost all my old art due to circumstances out of my control and it makes me sad, but i do have a deviantart i havent used in 5 years
9:50 *higurashi flashbacks*
I wanna go back to look at my old art but it's like 99% among us
7:34 the moment I saw this I screamed 🥲 I'm sorry 😭

My art at 12 was definitely not as refined or skilful as yours lol
Nah, the first one is how I stand with my moderate scoliosis 💀
At least you weren't drawing problematic content ToT When I was 9-13 I drew art that was terrible both in style and in content
I love the game grumps reference xD
Some of her worst pieces are better than my average ones
Bruh same
honestly, the first one was pretty good for 11
it looks like all three noodle arms are actually one long noodle
I believe everyone who drew anime art had an extremely pointy face phase
Seeing this stuff makes me believe I'll improve :]
I deleted all my old art...wish i kept it but i never did.
this is still better than my current art lol
Honestly this video rubbed me the wrong way :(

I think almost everyone has drawn a picture of a beach or people in swimsuits at a beach
I wasn’t able to delete my art because I drew on paper… so a lot of it got lost 😞
you inspyre me to make my own video about reviewyng my old art
Some aren't as bad as my art I can't even draw fingers nor a good body
The things you point out aren't even noticeable to me, I think your art was really impressive for your age back then
wow ur old art is p good if only you became an artist
