Congratulations on reaching 5000 subscribers, that’s so lovely for you. I really like the Mode at Rowan jumper, gorgeous colour and great texture. I would be interested in reading Miranda’s book.
Love your autumn makes. I always have to lower bust darts. I just measure where my apex is and compare to pattern. Then cut the dart area out in a box shape and move it down to where I need it. Hope this helps. Your PJ's are cute. You could add a frill of fabric or wide lace at the bottom to make the top longer. Beautiful knitting . Well done. xx
Yes please! I suffered with a chronic pain condition and have heard Miranda talk about her book. It sounds so inspirational and it was great to hear your take on it. I am dying to read it. I'm UK based.
Congrats on reaching 5k subscribers. What a wonderfully autumnal video. Your colour choices are perfect and I like how you really think about how you photograph your finished items. I think I'm going to have to take more photos outside. I'd love to read Miranda's book. My daughter and I used to watch and love her show and I still hold my hand up and say, 'bare with' if someone interupts me when I'm in the middle of something. X
I would love to read Miranda’s new book. My daughter lives with chronic illness and my husband too is affected by autoimmune issues. I’ve grown up enjoying Miranda’s wonderful humour.
This book sounds a big help for people suffering from chronic illness. I have recently been diagnosed with a neurotically condition which will only get worse. Love your lovely knits and your dresses.
Congratulations on reaching 5k.I’m a new subscriber also a sewer knitter and anything crafty. Really enjoying the mix you present. Thanks for being so open about your journey it’s very brave of you. Would love to read the book on your recommendation x
Sounds like a wonderful giveaway. I do enjoy your videos, and am excited after seeing the houndie in this one. I have 2 greyhounds and I do like to sew and crochet things for them as well as myself 😂
Just found your channel and I am thrilled that you have a giveaway too…. Bonus. Looking forward to looking back at the rest of your videos and watching your future ones. Such fun 😂Miranda ❤
Hi, love your videos, they are full of inspiration and despite your health problems you always seem so upbeat and smiley. I hope you keep well this winter. I would like to read Miranders book, I think it would be a real tonic in the winter months
What a lovely giveaway. Someone will be blessed to receive it. You’ve made some beautiful things. It is just so satisfying to be able to wear some thing beautiful you’ve made. 😊
I would love to read the book. Both my daughter and myself have EDS which is very debilitating and I am sure she would like to read the book too. Congratulations on reaching 5K.🏴😍
Congratulations on the 5k subscribers. I found you a few weeks ago and like that you are so honest with your chronic illness struggles. I’ve struggled for 20 years but seem to have hit a whole new wave this past year. I’d love to read the Miranda book. It would be great to hear how she manages. Xxx
Congratulations on the 5K 🎉 I’m a huge fan of Miranda too and have been wanting to get her book since she started teasing it on her insta. Chronic illness is no fun and when I added menopause on top, I was not in a great place. Finally found a sympathetic GP and turning a corner. Your green cable jumper was fabulous by the way!
Rachel congratulations on your 5k , I loved the dress and cable jumper they looked great on you . Miranda is one of my favourites she make me laugh and I bet the book is an amazing read xxx
Love your channel. I just wanted to pop on here and say thank you for the book recommendation. I live in the US and I am going to buddy read this book with my friend who also has ME.
Yes please! I live with an autoimmune disease and even though im surrounded by wonderful people it can be a lonely journey, would love to hear how Miranda deals with her struggles x
I just made a pair of the Agnes PJs by Paper Theory. The construction of the top with the facing freaked me out a bit, but the actual constructed garment has grown on me and I’d like to make another pair. I like how loose they are, and it’s super comfy in a soft cotton (I do need the remake the bottoms with a crotch adjustment). I’ve put Miranda’s book on my TBR (I’m in Australia). Also - I fully support November Christmas content! 🎄
Hi from Aotearoa New Zealand, love your inspirational podcast. I'm a sewer and knitter and practice sustainability as much as I can. Grow our own vegetables and lots of fruit. Cook from scratch. I have fibromyalgia so understand fatigue related health issues
Rachel, I’m so glad I discovered you on Instagram, earlier this year. Like you I have fibromyalgia and chronic depression. For the past 5yrs, I have been bringing up my teenage son, who has special needs, on my own and we have a 14yr old lurcher/lab. I have always enjoyed crafting, especially knitting, which helps me to, not only contain my anxiety in the evenings, it also for my pain management. I’d love to win Miranda’s book and read about her experience and journey living with a chronic illness. I’m an avid reader, but due to my limited income, I use my library for my book addiction. ❤
Hello Rachel, I would love the opportunity to read Miranda book. I’ve spent most of my life suffering with joint pain and now hitting the menopause this only had to my discomfort. I love watching your podcasts and only hope one day I could make some beautiful dresses just like yours 😊
I’m living with cancer so I’d love to read Miranda’s book. I found ‘The body keeps the score’ by Bessel van der Kolk enlightening as is ‘When the body says no’ by Gabor Mate, there’s a lot of Gabor’s stuff on TH-cam if you don’t feel like reading x
Thank you for an excellent video. Can you possibly put a link to the pattern for the cushion your hot water bottle was lent up against. Your cable jumper is fantastic and the colour, wow. I never knew Miranda suffered with chronic illness and I would be thrilled to win the book to enable me to perhaps find things that could also help me cope. Many thanks.
Hello! Here from USA. I’m breast cancer survivor and have suffered post surgery, chemo and radiation. Since then ongoing CFS and anxiety, along with chronic joint pain, etc. My liver was NAFLD. 6 months ago went carnivore out of desperation because the 7+ meds were not improving me. Anyway, you might like to check out Penguin and Pear. Similar in age as you. ❤ glad to be here.
I have just discovered you. It is nice to find a fellow crafter and M.E. sufferer. Do you have any tips for making knitting less tiring? Since getting ill I find that I can't do more than 10 minutes every couple of days.
Lovely to have you here ❤️ this ain’t something I’ve struggled with too much with knitting. I do with sewing and so I’m very careful I don’t push myself to do too much. I do often have a very easy project for knitting that I can always pick up just stockinette stitch that doesn’t require much brain power and that helps!
Congratulations on reaching 5000 subscribers, that’s so lovely for you. I really like the Mode at Rowan jumper, gorgeous colour and great texture. I would be interested in reading Miranda’s book.
Thanks Kate ❤️ it’s a great book!

Hi Carol, the cushion pattern is on Laura’s Penrose’s’ website, the same as the hot water bottle cover. It’s the Stella quilt cushion 😊
@ thank you Rachel. Very much appreciated.
Wishing is live in the UK 🇬🇧 now but I live in 😂Suid-Africa 🇿🇦
