Hell yeah Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was awesome. Statham delivers a monologue to open the movie, it was his first-ever acting job, and he nailed it. Even more respect than ever to McCarthy for liking the film. I hope she works with Guy Ritchie one day.
I really enjoyed this movie! It reminds me of True Lies with Arnold and Jamie Lee Curtis, but this one was even better. Mr. Statham has had movies that make you laugh, i.e. Crank, but not to the point where you're running to the bathroom because you can't stop laughing. Really, I just can't get enough.
This movie is fantastic!!! I was hoping for a sequel that had the same comic elements as this one. Jason Statham is good in all his movies. That he does his own stunt work too, is WOW. Jude Law is fabulously attractive (think 007) and is fantastic too. Rose Byrne can look gorgeous while playing a wealthy sh$t, but makes you like her a bit anyway. Zach Woods, who has a small but very memorable role, as the guy wearing the purple tie......oh my, YUCK to what happens to him (he was also in ‘The Heat’ with Melissa and Sandra Bullock, he was a paramedic). If you haven’t seen this film, you are in for a fun time laughing with this one.
To the ignoramouses on here who can inly comment on McCarthy's weight, two points:first, your utter lack of ability to grasp her comic genius is mindblowing (and says more about you than her), second, McCarthy is more talented than you will ever be. So bore off.
