Always nice to be able to know where your food come from. Sadly where I live, raising "farm" animals is prohibited. I do have a garden, hope they won't be taking that too from us. Definitely will be moving to the countryside once i get my degree. Did you calculated the cost per head to raise them?
Thanks for the comment. Calculating the cost of the chicken and food, the hard costs are about $6.80/chicken. The soft costs are probably around the $2/chicken range but I do not count that. The chicks cost me $1.10/per and the feed is $16.50/per 50lb bag. For 25 chickens I use 50 lbs/avg week. Thank you for watching the video.
