Thank you! 2 years ago, I painted my F1 Tunnel with this scheme, and I loved it. Now I got 2 boats with this color scheme, and it came out great on the G-Force, too 😎
Thanks James 👍. The weight is maybe 150 grams for a total paint job for a 33" hull. This twin mono weighs about 4kg ready to run, so it's not a featherweight anyway! ✌️
if I wanted to leave the wooden hull without painting it, do I laminate it with fabric and that's it, or, especially the keel, should I treat it in another way?
You can laminate it with glass. It serves 2 purposes: adding strength, and sealing the hull against water. After laminating, sand the weave, and clear coat it. You will end up with an invisible weave, and the wood will get a nice gloss. See also my Wildthing paint video here: th-cam.com/video/V_335TBch0U/w-d-xo.html
I have troubles with the 2nd color dissolving the paint from the 1st color. Do I just add another day to let the 1st color dry even more to prevent this? 48h instead of 24h?
You should use the same paint types, e.g. acrylic paint on acrylic paint. Preferably, from the same supplier. 24 hours should be fine between paint colors. Good luck!
Thanks! I made the drawing myself. I can send you the Wildthing plans. It is a similar hull with a lot of speed potential. Send me an email at cozyrc1@gmail.com if you're interested ✌️
Thank you Andrea! Yes, I plan to share the drawings from my Google Drive next week! Keep an eye open for the next video review of this boat. It will have the link to the drawing, including a recommended parts list ✌️
absolutely beautiful! that coral is set off with that gold two-tone and white

Danke schön Rudolf 😎✌️
Great finish! and colour choice. As a spray painter with years in a spray booth I can say its all in the preparation.
Thank you, Sam. Yes, the whole process is time-consuming, but it was worth it 😎
I wish I could get mine to look half as good, just wow
I’m alway to worried about weight

Minty clean dude! She looks stunning, fantastic work as always!!
Thanks Jan! Now the challenge is to keep it this way 😅
It's stunning, work of art. Well done mate.
Thanks Peter, I'm very happy with the result, too!
Excellent work as always...I took a look at the KST servos and they seem quite professional ...
Thanks Dim! Yes, KST servo's are perfect for those who want top quality. I will test their performance soon 👍
Good job! It looks great!
Thanks! 👍
hi, question, do you put the bottom on the hull after laminating it?
I put the bottom on first and laminate it afterwards. Please see this video as well: th-cam.com/video/DAVfD3D9UqM/w-d-xo.html

Are you using water slide or vinyl for your graphics? Boat looks great!
Thanks! Yes, I use waterslide decals. Covered with 2k clear coat 👍

Thank you I appreciate it!
Don't scratch this one😬loock's very beuthyful 😊
Thanks Daiciu! A small scratch might be ok, but I'm a bit worried about the high speed crashes..
