Why is embarrassing for the PL? It should be embarrassing to those in power at that shambles of a club. The PL owes Utd nothing. You earn your position, it isn't given to you.
The level of arrogance in that statement is unreal. Embarrassing for the premier league. Surely it's more embarrassing not qualifying for Europe at all. Outrageous claim
Andy-United are in 8th. At this rate, they aren’t even going to qualify for the Conference League. Likewise, get off your high horse. United, and any other club for that matter, are not entitled to success. You either constantly adapt to survive and thrive or you fade off. That’s the reality. Having a big “brand name” and living off past successes means nothing. Stop living in the past. United are entitled to nothing.

Chelsea Fan, when we were 12th - Winning the League Cup would have got us in the conference league & I would have 100% taken that at the time. These players deserve to play evert single minute, of every game in the conference ! However, we dont have two teams like 115 charges pep, & liVARpool, so it will be a blessing not to qualify for europe. We can have a clear out and concentrate on rebuilding.
With the younger squad Chelsea have, the conference league would be perfect for them. Give them a chance to get used to European football without as much pressure. Build more confidence in themselves and the team, assuming they do well anyway.
It actually shows how competitive the EPL is, which is a good thing in my opinion. Shows you have to earn your success, it's not just 1 or 2 teams and the rest. There are around 10 teams that can compete for the champions league spots which is awesome

If Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Bayern Munich we’re playing Conference League football it would be seen as embarrassing. It will be for United too.
