Certain parts of Oakland is nice and there's some rough parts of the city I stay away from, I used to go to Oakland/Berkeley all the time to kick it with my cousin and I never had any problems going to Oakland!!!

I love this city. Just wish it was a bit bigger and had some more sports teams. I hope it gets new energy and investment to grow.
