- I am not sure if San Francisco has a version of NYC Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade but we surely have a festive Christmas 🎄 and lights all over town! It’s indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Union Square & Downtown San Francisco!
Happy Holidays!
Recorded November 20, 2022, Sunday
Oh what a feast for the eyes, really quite magical. Thanks for brightening my day with festive cheer.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I saw a bart station
Beautiful. Union Square looks just like the Rockefeller Center during Christmas time.
Beautiful
Merry Christmas everyone!
Absolutely gorgeous! What type of camera did you use to record this? Definitely not on a phone lol.
It's from DJI. it's their pocket osmo combo.
@@caliwalks omg wow! I have the DJI Action 4 and can't seem to get that type quality on my evening walks
After looking at several reviews now I know why. Two totally different types of cameras and these pockets are king for daily recordings. The pocket 3 just got released but they want 500 bucks for it.
♥️❤️❤️
Thank you, Meng! Miss & love you!
Looks great po!
Thanks for visiting
Is it safe to take a camera out in SF ? Like a DSLR/mirrorless camera. I love taking street photos , urban architecture, etc. so I would love to do it.
lmfao are you from a suburban town in the midwest? be for real 😭If you've been to any major city in the world, you know street smarts and what to do and what not to do.
@@ashm7922 why are you being so mean to someone asking a question. Maybe they ARE from a small town. how are you to assume.
It is safe in the majority of places if you are careful doing so and are aware of your surroundings.
As safe as any other major city in world. You're gonna hear about crime in major cities on the news. Fact of life, because it's a higher population. It doesn't mean it's an every day event.

but the news said sf is a ghost town. how can this be?
Hi Frank! Thanks for checking out the channel. Re: your question, just like any major cities in the US, San Francisco was hit hard by the pandemic. However, it is slowly coming back and the residents who love this city are resilient despite pessimism from other frustrated residents. There are some things to criticize about the city but I will never give up on San Francisco. Tourism is back for sure. I was one of the few essential workers that didn't have the option to work from home during the pandemic and I witnessed what a real ghost town was. Mainstream media tends to exaggerate everything. We're not 'super there' yet but we are slowly but surely rising up & we'll be back stronger.
@@caliwalks Thanks for the thoughtful response. But it was a rhetorical question used ironically lol. FWIW you used "hardly" incorrectly. I think you meant to say it was "hit hard" by the pandemic. "hardly" is more like "barely" or "insignificant amount". My comment was to illustrate the fact that SF is doing alright. There are problems yes but I think it's still a great city.
What can a bama boy like me do in San Francisco 🤔😌
Everything is possible in SF!
@@caliwalks where you from
cool video but kinda creepy how u sit there and look at people
Kinda empty for a festive season. Scary and not a soul in sight at some parts ...
Who can afford to live there.austin tx is getting the same way lots of expensive homes and homeless people living under bridges
SF is actually getting CHEAPER now that the tech industry won't return to the office and are all working from home. They are pretty much to blame for turning San Francisco into a moderately expensive city into an unaffordable nightmare, the most expensive city in the entire country from 2009-2021.
Me. And a lot of other people. Its not like our minimum wage is the same as small cities, its higher here and there are a lot of jobs that pay salaries like any other place.
@@ashm7922 no. u can blame greedy landlords. not people who work hard and have salaries that reflect their occupation. thats like blaming doctors for having money after busting their days or a lawyer.
I clear 5k a month after taxes, and it's great. Especially since there's a lack of Crazy Christians wasting money on banning people from bathrooms, and other crazy crap like that.
If you're concerned about controlling other people's lives, stay in Mississippi. But if you appreciate GOOD OLD FASHIONED AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOM, San Francisco is a wonderful place to live.
