The direction he's going is called "Bush Prog" in Australia, elsewhere typically gets the name "Zenon" from Zenon Records an Australian Bushprog Record Label. It's a sound that's best played at night deep in a forest, you can tell with all the animal sounds and such, it's really a genre that's supposed to be integrated with nature.
