Have visited dasprakash hotel in the mid Seventy for they would serve hot water to customers for drinking with food their Mysore boonda was a favorite of mine and my mother's was tenga dosai with sagu which they would serve without onions and garlic favorite restaurant of my parents Can we substitute bringal with something else as I am allergic to bringal nice cooking and Amma style is fantastic she many a times reminds me of my late mother thank you for the recipe 😘👏💐what s the picholi basket doing on kitchen cooking table
Coconut special 👌👌👍👍 Kerala la Verum arisi Adai solli adaiku arakkara mathiriye thengai pottu arachu Adai suduvom, with Jaggery powder eat this. Some prefer Tomato Chutney. Then Brinjal ku jaggery avoid panni tamarind juice add panni, coconut etc., arachu vittu panni iruntha innum tasty aa irukkume. Thanks 🙏🙏
Palakkad iyers also make varumarisi adai adding coconut. The other alernatives we add are murunga ellai. My grandmom also adds methi sometimes. I add carrot n cabbage to the dosai. Ofc thenga goes with all of thses/
We call it verum arisi adai fm palghat side, tastes great if you add fresh murungai keerai to the batter. I sometimes add methi leaves when murungai keerai is not available (in the US)
