I am a Southern, black woman with a white(blond hair blue eyed)husband, and a beautiful 12 year old son. I have sympathy for her. I have to admit, if you surveyed my conversations with my black family compared to my white in laws, I would have some explaining to do.
I think she may have a martyr complex, judging by her words but of course I'm not in her head so I can't say I know. There is of course the classic "others do it too" defense to shift the spotlight away from her.
Hey I got this white friend and he's sitting in the audience come over here my white friend, come on let's go, we can't see you against the whiteboard.
fsx23 what is your opinion on the n-word itself. Have you ever seen Louis C.K. piece about using that word in a non racial way? youtu (dot) be/L5TzwBhV2Bo Also have you ever heard Greydon Square's song "N word" youtu (dot) be/GpxkGhMYVVo What is your opinion on these uses of the word and do you find it offensive and if so why? I just had a discussion with a friend about why the F word is offensive and they couldn't come to a conclusion about why they found it offensive.
Good video, I wasn't familiar with the details of the allegations but it seems they had some teeth. As you said though it doesn't necessarily reflect the person she is today. Of course her back peddling and misleading statements are a bit annoying but they are understandable as one would hope she is embarrassed about her past behavior.
Wow. In that first clip - she cried more than anyone I've ever seen... and never shed a single tear.
I'd never heard of her before this controversy.
I wish I could back to that state of ignorance
Hey fsx23, I really enjoy your videos and upon this one I can't help but wonder what is your ethnic background?

Where the hell did that last clip come from? I liked your comment on it: hmmm.
I wonder what she uses for eye makeup? Must be Krylon. Because otherwise, surely the makeup would run in the midst of such sobbing.
The line at the bottom was showing news of Treyvon Martin's case. Coincidence? I think not.
Man, that 'rap' video at the end. My mandible was fully extended in a mix of shock and disgust.
People defending her should read the transcript.
That song is in Paula's iPod
I was totally for using the n-word all the time, but your use of capitals is just too convincing, so I won't use ANY word that starts with n.

That rap never ceases to make me laugh my ass off...
They must have been living under a rock for the past century...
I just shared your video on Paula Deen's Facebook page. I'm sure it'll be drowned out by all the racists praising her. Oh well.
Hey I got this white friend and he's sitting in the audience come over here my white friend, come on let's go, we can't see you against the whiteboard.
Paula's glib chatter really didn't serve her well in slipping out of this hole. Not enough butter in Georgia
6:10> laughing my ass off. Excellent upoad so far, off to finish the rest. Subbed of course
8:20> too angry too speak.
I am kinda drunk atm so if this post doesn't make sense please someone tell me. :)
