The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet is THE place to get souvenirs and stuff like t-shirts! So much cheaper than any stores in Waikiki including ABC. Dukes Lane is a mixed bag as you mentioned, need to be a ruthless haggler to get a good deal! As you mentioned Aloha Stadium gets really hot without a lot of shade so sunscreen (reef-safe), hats, bottle of water, etc!
I'm planning this fall moving from West Hollywood to Honolulu... This is the 4th or 5th video I watched that you both have done... . Again thank you... You really helping helping me learn my way around... Different places to go and see... And places to shop.
Wow thats the ABC Store we always go to since it's right next to where we stay. I didn't know it was the biggest one! It looks not very busy...hoping its still that way in a month from now when I'll be back there!
ABC store at Don Ho Lane. What says Waikiki more than that? We would walk from The Waikiki Ohana East Hotel to have breakfast at Denny's on Lewers or The Hard Rock on Kalakaua. Fantastic time. Want to come back as soon as possible. Aloha.
Have you guys been to the WalMart close to AlaMoana Mall? They have some good prices there, but the flea market in the stadium parking lot is the best. Can't wait to get back. We have a trip planned for Sept of this year.
Will be on Oahu this year December 22 to 30. We are visiting as a family of 6 and I see your info on the swap meet says no more than 5 people per car. Do you have any idea why and what will they do if we show up with six? With Christmas on Saturday this year I don’t think it will be open that day right?
I was shopping at Dukes lane a few weeks ago, and there was only 4 to 6 vender's all the way back by the Ross store. When will 40 to 60 vender's be coming back ? Both of you do amazing video's, plus a amazing couple. It's a pleasure to watch you become a more successful TH-camr, day by day. Love you Mahalo 💖
I much prefer buying a few quality, unique, handmade pieces from local artists over mass produced items. Do you have any favorite shops within Waikiki that fit the bill?
I love your videos. Your videos are informative, clear and concise. My husband and I are going there next week. Is it necessary to rent a car? Thank you!
It is nice that the Swat Meet finally reopens but it is sad that it is not the same. We like to find souvenirs from Walmart or Target when we can but if we are in Waikiki then it's the ABC Store.
I see the admission price for the Aloha Stadium is $1 per person.....is there a parking fee as well? I’m assuming people drive their rental cars or personal cars there and not just take Uber.
@Ron Z I'm not sure if you're being funny or just an ass but really??? You are aware she's from Russia, right? God, you sound like a Trumptard!!! I happened to like their channel..very informative.
Have you shopped at Aloha Stadium? What was your experience like!?
As long as there are those soft coconuts at the Aloha Stadium swap meet I'm happy.

Are the rocks/minerals that are used for the jewelry from the islands? I would be concerned about that, don’t want bad luck.

Here in Florida we call those flea markets and you don’t pay a dime unless you are buying stuff of course
not sure why they charge to get in

Not really, but we could look into it.
Mahalo nui loa for your tips!!!
Hello! Thank you for sharing the informative video. Does anyone know the price (or a decent price) for a Ukelele in the swap meet or Dukes? Mahalo
We will find out for you.
Omg am I the only one who noticed the “Shits Creek” skull paddle? 😆 9:24
Hahah, was waiting to see who saw that😂
I live watching this vlog I'm frm Philippines 🇵🇭
Is it strictly 5 people per car because I’ll be traveling in a family of 8 in our van. What will happen if all 8 of us go?
Not sure, may be $1 per person
Thx u again for sharing your experiences ❤
Always!
I love your videos. Your videos are informative, clear and concise. My husband and I are going there next week. Is it necessary to rent a car? Thank you!
Yes for dure
You can also get most places on a bus
Bring a sun umbrella.
Thanks for the tips !
Happy to help!
Do they have plus sizes there?
Yes!
I will be in Honolulu in April and we may be a family of 7 will they not let us in?
That’s awesome, family of 7 will be too large. What we suggest is to take 2 ubers /Lyft and split 3/4
they had those foot prints pre Covid just not as much\
How far is the swapmeet from the airport?
about 5-7 min away

no parking fee, just admission
@@Livingtheglobe Do you have to be in a car? What if you dont drive and want to visit? Can you get there somehow can just walk on in after you pay?
I always over pack. Im trying not to do that this time lol.
Hilarious!
What about Don Quixote?
Its a supermarket
@@Livingtheglobe It's more than a supermarket. It's an ABC store on steroids. Hawaiian sun six packs 3 bucks.
Where's the best place to get hawaiian made souvenirs?
That would be where we mentioned in this video, Aloha Swap meet
what aboutwalmart
