What brands of yarn are you crocheting with?

Love this video- so incredibly helpful. I’ll probably watch it many times. Have you ever done a video on how to embroider eyes- like on the doll you mentioned?

We do have one short video on the channel on the mermaid eyes, but we are getting so much better now, so we will be making more videos. I think the eyes is important to bringing characters to life in amigurumi. Thanks so much for watching!

This a great video. I’m going to have to rewatch it and take notes. It showed up in my TH-cam feed. I just started making plushies using Chenille Home Slim and Sweet Snuggles Lite, with a bit of Bernat Blanket Speckles thrown in mostly for chickens.

We LOVE! Bob Ross 💜🥺We miss him (he was/is my husbands favorite)! Thank you for doing this. I just found you, and am so excited about your video! We only have a local Wal Mart (all others, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Joann's ) an hour away. So I think this video will be great to use what I already have!!!!!!!☺🤗P.S. I forgot to ask, is there a pattern video for the star Afghan at the end that you are making?

Thank you for this video! Also, I love the idea of a swatch / hook size video or pdf. (I'm thinking that the swatch/hook size video would be a ginormous undertaking!)

That's exactly what we are working on. I have been so frustrated at the lack of information that I am sure if it isn't helpful to others, at least it will be helpful to us! Thanks fo watching!

Funny that I came across your videos talking about mixing and matching different types/brands of yarns with your amigurumi projects. I have been doing that with my last few projects due to needing a yarn color or adding a different touch to the toy and it has turned out great. Again like you said, some yarns may not work or play nice with each other, but it's fun to experiment with the different yarns. I Love your mom and daughter videos. Thank you so much for sharing and the great info you supply us, Love and Peace and a big hug to you 2 beautiful ladies. P.S. I have been crocheting amigurumi for only one year now and love it. Thanks again. Have a great day!

This was a great video and very informative. I always wonder what yarn to use and using different ones together. Also hook sizes …thanks so much ❤

It's truly a day to day experiment! I also find that I might need a different crochet hook based on how stressed I am, too!

I will never remember all of the information you’ve shared here. Will you be making a fact sheet with your findings? It would be a priceless resource for those of us just now making plushies for the first time. I’m making 120 frogs for Christmas shoeboxes for my church. That means finding green chenille yarn to make the frogs. I’ve already found differences between the one skein of chenille I got at Dollar Tree and a yarn I found online. It’s quite an adjustment to try and make similar sized frogs when the yarns are so different.
    Just asking for my sanity.

That's a great idea. We will work on that. We agree that these yarns are quite tricky trying to make items that are the same size. That sounds like a lot of frogs! 🥰
