Also, my tip for raising ducklings - make sure you add brewers yeast to the feed. It's important that they get enough niacin in their diet or they could develop leg problems as they grow.

Alex Zambuto you’re a genius
so I actually I have 6 ducklings right now...they can go outside around 3 weeks old as long as they have a heat lamp outside up to 9 weeks of age (unless it is really warm outside and doesn’t get too cold cuz if it gets to cold outside they could potentially die so the heat lamp is very important ) and yes the brooder you got for them will eventually be to short so you will need to upgrade. they need chick starter 20% protein non-medicated until they are 16 weeks of age that’s when they can have duck pellets. Also make sure you have food and water available at all times until up too about 6 weeks of age then you can feed twice a day.

The mixed color one is going to be a muscovy, also ducks are very messy so one thing to help out is to put rocks that are big enough they cannot eat but small enough they can get to water and place them in the waterer where they actually drink so they dont make a complete mess in the brooder. Make sure there is enough space that they can get away from the heat if need be also. Hope this helps

The ducks look like they're about 2-3 weeks old. Where they sit under the heat lamp needs to be around 85-90 degrees. Every week, raise the heat lamp enough so the temperature drops another 5 degrees. Once they're fully feathered then you move them outside.

Also, water tank for the ducks to swim in. Change twice a day. Those ducks will be out of that container in a few weeks. Always get the tall ones.
get like 6 turkeys and if u raise them from babies they won’t fight when they get older like if u agree and so flair sees

Hey flair, quick tip, idk if this will work for ducks but we raise chicks and baby turkeys and what we do is whenever they are first born, we get their feed nice and wet but not too wet, only to the point where it’s damp. But get them eating that grower wet for about 3 weeks to one month then progress it to dry feed. Hope this tip does good and good luck👍🏼

My boyfriend and I just got 2 ducks a few weeks ago, and my gosh have they grown so fast. We just bought 2 more and the older ducks did not like them at first. It was at least a day before they got along and could stay together. **DUCK TREATS** meal worms, crickets, uncooked oatmeal
You can put them in a lot of containers but the deeper ones work out better for me. They can stay in longer if they needed to. They tend to get jumpy when they start getting bigger. Plus easier to raise and lower the light and control the heat. Maybe put some rocks in their waterer you got them kinda big but it helps with small birds not drowning in their water.

Gamebird starter is what I’ve always used. You can release them when you feel safe to. It’s an up to you thing. I always wait until they are about 6 - 8 weeks. Big enough to defend themselves a bit. But since you let them free range you may need to let them get even bigger. It just really differs from your preference and what you are doing with them

WAY!! Too close too the ground, with my experience with heat lamps my chicken coop burned down. Edit: the lamp was about 5 feet off the ground
