When me and my family found out our allergies had gotten to the point where they were manageable we went from having 0 cats to 7 cats in less than a year.
"She believes she's not pretty because she doesn't have makeup on... she's very wrong about this." I agree with Airier. Airier should like... totally marry her or something. (Yes I know you already did. Lol.)
As a cat owner, this is so true. As me and my sister don't interact with her and my dad's cat end up often hanging out in our rooms and even lay beside him. I do give them cuddles but if they leave, I let them leave. Let cats interact with you and they will come.
Just as I come to the end of this video, my cat Momo decides we need to have a conversation. She meows to get eye contact, and then we just exchange meows because I always repeat each distinct meow back to her. And now she is pressed up against my chest and purring as I type. I think it is time for pets. She is the most affectionate and snuggly orange cat ever.
I adopted an abandoned calico kitten, probably around 3-4 months old, small. I havent settled on her name until she grew up a little and building up her personality a bit more. She dont want to cuddle with me while sleeping, but she always slept near my feet, or while i am sitting cross legged, the amount of times she plays and gnaws on my toes and thighs, and she rubs her head on my palm and if i didn't wake up in time for HER breakfast, she'll gnaw and claw-kicking at my fingers too, im surprised there's no lasting scar. Anyways, as she grew, she became more and more feisty and aloof, sometimes affectionate, that i just decides to call her Diona. And yes i have a genshin brainrot. And i have now 3 more cats, not her children, she adopted the 3 abandoned kittens.
I have/had many cats on my property, and all of them related. I live out in the country, and one morning (around 7-9 years ago) a family of cats moves into my shed: the mother and 5 adorable little floof balls. I met them one morning, and decided to leave out a small bowl of tuna every night, and they eventually grew to enjoy my company instead of fleeing upon seeing me. At some point all but one of the children decided to move out, except for one, a black and white cat I decided to name Oreo, who still seemed a bit shy or untrusting, but also a tiny bit feisty. About 2-4 years later, she apparently met another cat, this one tan-ish in colour and extremely floofy, with an adorkable personality, and was immediately trusting. So soft and cuddly he was. Regardless, they made their own family of 5 kittens, who each were so cuddly and energetic. Flash forward to today, and only the Oreo and one of her kittens, a tan and white cat named Marshmallow, who always runs up to me when she sees me. Despite being allergic to Cats, I always give them affection when they come seeks it.
When I was a child, I was VERY allergic to dogs, cats, mice, horses, and probably every other furry critter on the planet. When my parents first had me, they weren't aware of this, and since Fluffy, the three year old tortoiseshell they had before me loved me, they let her hang around me, play with me, sleep with me. I spent Christmas in an oxygen tent when I was two. Fortunately, over the past twenty years or so, I lost my sensitivity to most animals, including cats; the other three will still provoke an asthmatic response, among other things. That's right, the friendliest doggy in the world will KILL me if kept in the same room with me for too long. So now I have two cats, because I live in an old farmhouse and in the winter ALL the mice come to visit me. They're almost as bad as dogs. Well, worse, actually, because dogs don't leave little surprises in every nook and cranny.
I got my cat for 14 years now, nowadays she isn't active, but she was really energetic for the first 9 years we had her. And we got her when she was 1 year old.
KITTENS ARE SO CUTE THEY AND SO TINY THEY CAN SIT IN YOUR HANDS I REMEMBER WHEN MINE WAS THAT TINY BUT I WAS ALSO MUCH MORE TINY SO I COULDN’T HOLD HER

I have two cats that scratch at times. My little buddy Marco is pretty shy, scaredy-cat, and will freak out around strangers. He will also use his claws to hold onto you: if you don't move, you don't get hurt. Maize is a little brat who gets to zoomies and will do a drive by scratch when she's in a mood. She craves attention, but when she gets too much, she immediately lashes out. Dang brat.
I used to have a tortoise cat (she was hit by a car and passed this year at 3 years old...) they are high energy and very strange, like red cats. I miss Toulouse... my dog taught my cat to open the door... she often jumped open the front door to get outside and bring live mice into the house... we did not enjoy that....
I ALSO DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO BREATHE THROUGH THE NOSE FOR A LONG TIME, as a kid i was allergic to almost everything airborne so i just didn't breathe through my nose at all until i was like 10
What I learned today is that you are Maes Hughes and if you could you would (Possibly in the future at this rate) have a massive billboard of your cats framed in flowers.
When I was a kid my family had a cat named Miss Kitty. I remember one day Miss Kitty was laying on the patio in the sun and a baby bird had fallen out of the nest. it managed to flutter it's way onto a patio chair and chirping like crazy because there was a cat right there. Miss Kitty just raised her head and shot the bird a glance as if saying "Will you please shut up?" and laying back down. No birds were in danger near Miss Kitty.

She went from not even noticing me to being my little puffy lint ball shadow. She also is the most lovable baby and all the adult cats were big old scardey babies but she used her cute charm and has all of them wrapped now.
When I was 16 right after my mom died my food allergies went haywire and I became allergic to a whole bunch of food stuff. It killed me because I couldn’t have all of my favorite foods.
Cats are so smart, specifically for what they want to be smart for because otherwise they'll do the dumbest things ever. My cat learnt he can open doors by jumping onto the door knob and pulling it down with his weight, so in the middle of the night you just hear him meowing and then a door opening and it's been driving everyone insane 😭😭 this is the same cat who fell into the toilet before while trying to drink from it even though he had a bowl of water in the kitchen

Thank you for using the LOMG video resolution. TH-camrs often covers the entire corner of a video and with this mode you don't do that as much and we can still see your reaction
Its also the same the other way around for allergies. Like if u work with fish or crabs ALOT you might develop an allergy to fish/crustacean’s. Literally u could use something TOO MUCH or eat something TOO MUCH and develop an allergy
Two years ago I developed a pollen allergy I didn’t know until I was outside in the spring, after being outside for an hour, my eyes start sting I rub them occasionally and next thing I know 10 minutes later, i’m having my first allergic reaction where my eyes are swelled up to where I can’t see and are so crusty. I can’t open them. That was the first time something like that ever happened to me.
We have a lot of cats, so there are a few *characters.* Ramasees tries to walk with us, so I shove him in front of the TV. Sprout is terrified of everyone except my brother. Juan is 10 years old and bulk eats, meaning he eats way too much, and then throws up. He’s also very sociable, if you casually stroke him once he’ll start hounding you for more, mashing his head against everything ever If you combine our cats, you have a dog.
I'm so glad I don't have cat allergies, especially since my dad and his side of the family do. I love cats so much since birth and I would've been devastated if I was allergic to them. I love dogs, but I'm definitely more a cat parent.
My family has had 5 cat's in my lifetime, a fat grey tabbie named buddy buttler, a black cat with a white spot on it's chest named fumbalina, a black cat named daffodil, a tortise shell named evee, and another black cat named eli (pronounced ely)
I really wanted a black cat, becouse i heard that they get less adopted (besides Halloween, only to be returned weeks later). I ended up with a black and white cat, becouse she vibed with my Ma😅 She is a chill cat, but even she gets the zoomies around Lunch time. (And she is scared of Man and feet)
I love cats and used to not be allergic to them until 2015. I was a freshman in highschool and at some point during then my body decided to break out in hives whenever I was to pet my cat which never happened to me before. Unfortunately it's their saliva I'm allergic too and they clean themselves by licking. It took me awhile to realize and accept this new reality that I was allergic because I didn't think for awhile that developing an allergy was even possible. That wasn't the only change though. I also develop an allergy to rubber latex and hand sanitizer. I never gotten any food allergies thank God but my body sure has hell grown intolerant to a lot of foods. It's like I hit the jackpot with little to no allergies at a kid and then my luck ran out.
I like all cats, but for some reason I'm a white cat magnet. There are times a tabby or calico would come into my life but never stay, but white cats always choose me. All my cats are strays, and for some reason, barge into my life and become a family. RIP to Icarus, my first cat. You've changed my life 😂
I am deadly allergic to cats because of my EoE. It essentially means that my allergies can cause my esophagus to close up, and over time, it'll start to stay that way. We have a cat who likes me and only me, lol. I adore him. Edit: If it makes you feel any better, my cat has somehow learned to open doors with smooth, round doorknobs. I don't know when or how that happened. Edit #2: TESS'S COLLAR IS THE EXACT SAME ONE THAT I HAVE ON MY CAT!!! His name is Oliver. After the cat from Oliver and Company!
I have 1 kitty (Noodles) and two doggos (Bubbles and Godiva). My kitty is staying with a friend while I build my house. She's a real calm cat and just wants to snuggle at night then is very independent otherwise.
my mom has extreme allergy with cats as well. but i love animals. So what did i do when i moved out?....cat.....well once i moved to where i could get one. I use to had bad asthma when i was really little, like coughing asthma, like coughing all night long, even as i slept, i would cough. we moved though, never had an attack since then. What does the 300lb. Canary say? "Here kitty kitty kitty...."
I don't have any allergies, but I've never understood how some people can outgrow their allergy and other people with the same allergy never out grow their's,it doesn't make any sense to me,never has, never will
We had a cat we could play fetch whit as well and know afew others so it is not as strange as it first looks but it is uncommon. But if you want real wierd, that same cat also ate citrus frutes and did so happely, that is rare
@@Airier Oh, I thought more that I don't want my pet(s) to be all alone all day, and I also want a yard where I can be outside with them. While I do love dogs, I just happen to love cats more. :3
I've been becomming more and more alergic to cats over the decades :(. I used to love whaiting out strange cats for them to come to me and pet them for half an hour if that took it.
It it helps, a lot of allergies are tied to the general replacement of cells over a little less than a decade. So in another, it might not be an issue (which isn't exactly great, but it's either that or cheap over the counter allergy meds. Did that a few times when I wanted to pet cats and dogs before getting some).
*Jaiden:* Tostada doesn't understand "cat social cues"

So cute!!
Half of tostada each

I mean, if misty is fat then i guess its fair it acts like a brick wall

Jacob aka Alpharad USED to have a Hatsune Miku car.
This video was made before be got rid of it, I think he either gave it away or Sold it to a guy who collects Hatsune Miku merchandise.
I believe the miku car was sold in a charity auction. Specifically the one Cdawgva does for the immune deficiency foundation
previous person mentioned it was auctioned, but the one who won it was another large youtuber/streamer, Ranboo. who did not have a drivers license when he got it and potentially still doesn't.
As muffinsmentioned, the Miku Car is now in Ranboo's hands. He also got a suit of Armour at that auction, another thing he'll likely never use. 😅

I said Nu-fan-lund. Very different. 😁
1:48 The plushie next to bluey in the crane game thing was Man-Thing from Marvel :)
My cat is currently sitting on my lap and purring loudly
Two years ago I developed a pollen allergy I didn’t know until I was outside in the spring, after being outside for an hour, my eyes start sting I rub them occasionally and next thing I know 10 minutes later, i’m having my first allergic reaction where my eyes are swelled up to where I can’t see and are so crusty. I can’t open them. That was the first time something like that ever happened to me.
After losing my dog to old age, I kinda want a cat but I'm not sure if I'm still allergic. Gotta find time to go to the nearby shelters and rescues.
We have a lot of cats, so there are a few *characters.*
Ramasees tries to walk with us, so I shove him in front of the TV.
Sprout is terrified of everyone except my brother.
Juan is 10 years old and bulk eats, meaning he eats way too much, and then throws up. He’s also very sociable, if you casually stroke him once he’ll start hounding you for more, mashing his head against everything ever
If you combine our cats, you have a dog.
First time I think I've ever heard Newfoundland (new-find-land) pronounced so. So, kudos for that.
You know what they say: Tomato, Porcupine.
@@Airierya just like potato, lord of the rings
I play fetch with my cats 4:21
Don't be embarrassed, all of my orange cats (including barn cats) played fetch.
i saw a cat in the thumbnail and knew my next step.
I'm so glad I don't have cat allergies, especially since my dad and his side of the family do. I love cats so much since birth and I would've been devastated if I was allergic to them. I love dogs, but I'm definitely more a cat parent.
My cat knows how to open the door and we have circular door knobs
My family has had 5 cat's in my lifetime, a fat grey tabbie named buddy buttler, a black cat with a white spot on it's chest named fumbalina, a black cat named daffodil, a tortise shell named evee, and another black cat named eli (pronounced ely)
The shower gloves. The slightly abrasive kind, that lather up 🫧🧼, get those damp with just water. And pet the cat. It works as a "light bath."
1:23 did anyone notice big bird in that one bird from the big wide world is there!?
I really wanted a black cat, becouse i heard that they get less adopted (besides Halloween, only to be returned weeks later).
I ended up with a black and white cat, becouse she vibed with my Ma😅
She is a chill cat, but even she gets the zoomies around Lunch time.
0:42 Y r there so many yt tabs!?!?
It’s probably for recording other reaction vids. It’s a more common thing than you’d expect.
8:20 ish aaaaaand then there's genetic conditions like mine that complicates things... my skin shedding is closer to reptiles than mammals 😀
I have 1 kitty (Noodles) and two doggos (Bubbles and Godiva). My kitty is staying with a friend while I build my house. She's a real calm cat and just wants to snuggle at night then is very independent otherwise.
My boy is called Ziggy and Is a 10kg ball of fluff
my mom has extreme allergy with cats as well. but i love animals.
Found her very late, but she's fun.
I grew up with twin cats, back and tortoiseshell, it might be nice to have pets again.
fun fact, if you're allergic to cats/cat's fur, you might actually be allergic to a cat's saliva, bcuz.. they lick themselves.. a lot.
Wouldn't be surprised. Although they also like liking us, too (specifically right after we eat).
Once my cat jumped up to the fridge from the floor.
I don't have any allergies, but I've never understood how some people can outgrow their allergy and other people with the same allergy never out grow their's,it doesn't make any sense to me,never has, never will
All the boops
We had a cat we could play fetch whit as well and know afew others so it is not as strange as it first looks but it is uncommon.
But if you want real wierd, that same cat also ate citrus frutes and did so happely, that is rare
4:19 i also play fetch with my cat😅 and like, he loves it
Nice episode, thanks for the update.
Your cats are both adorable!
If your not allergic to dogs, a Newfoundland Hound is a good apartment dog. Their general energy level is less active than a fur rug.
Spoiler alert: they NEVER grow out of the zoomies.
Why is it that Torties always have the biggest owl eyes?
Got 2 cats... Penny and Meowvin...
dam you got like a million tabs open at once
