Best thing I have seen for months! It kept me wondring "What's next, what's next" Yeah, that doesn't happen very often. Congratulations to whoever had a hand in making this. Thanks.
Brilliant. I saw this years ago. And it was one of the first shorts that inspired me to get into 3D creation. It still inspires to this day. Thanks for bringing it back.
... so ... single cell organisms evolved to a sentient species but maintained their original form. All their technology is based on, looks like, and functions just like the micro organism. Imaginative!
Fascinating!! Great mixture of the micro and macro worlds, and the influence the former has on the latter. I could watch this all day. If you were doing this for fun, I'd love to see what you'd do if you were serious. tomato meter: 10
I am not sure what the animation was about - A journey into what and why - There needs to be a subject & an end. I did enjoy but found the speed at which we were traveling did not allow the viewer to get and appreciate the back ground . I found it very interesting & would like to see volume II if possible.
"AKRYLS (HD) A Roller Coaster ride youve never..." was the title. The title still shows up that way on Google Plus for me. (People can change the titles of their videos you know).
I love videos like this, and this one was AWESOME. Thank you for making this. When I was younger, me and my brothers used to play around with a microscope. A lot of these life forms can be viewed in a drop of gutter water or in pickle juice. It’s amazing what can be seen just by looking at food from an average refrigerator when magnified. 👁🔬🌭🦪🦪 If people knew what they were consuming on a daily basis there might be fewer overweight people.
Can this project be reopened and then re-exported in HD? The video was so murky and muddy and blocky I had NO IDEA what I was watching through half of that! It's a shame, as what looks like a visually stunning video is really let down by low quality...
K, I like the video, have some questions though... What program did you use to make it... How many people helped make it... (from description only three)... and how long did it take you to make this?
This was made in 2002, which at the time, this was pretty damn good CGI, especially for a team of a few people who were just doing it for fun.
It was decent for a student movie. Done with relatively cheap off-the-shelf software (Lightwave 3D) and few inexpensive plugins.

Amazing and brilliant. At the micro scale, who would have thought things could get so big!

pretty neat. going to watch it again later with my VR
For 10 years ago it was ahead of its time. Would really like to see a newer version. Definitely had me on the edge of my seat
That is so cool and its from 10 years ago! Fantastic work🍒
This version is from 2004
That was EFING AMAZING and I want more!
APPLAUSE !!! BRAVO !! BRAVO !!

many years since I last saw this, Love it still!
Someone PLEASE re-render this in HD! OMG! Awesome CG!
Seems like something inspired by a dream you might logically have in deep sleep
not quite what I was expecting from the title and thumbnail. interesting flight from the microscope to the macroscape and then a mixture
Have a microscope. Will travel to fantasy worlds.
This video is up in the air , it remind me of the first video I've ever seen , and that was called the Mind's Eye .
This is just fantastic!!
What are you apologizing for?? This is AWESOME! Most especially for its time.
man that was pretty darn good. Great job
Finally everyone can see what it's like inside my head.
It's look like the world of microorganisms , nyc
Nice ride!
A question. Can an advanced civilization develop underwater?? This requires a little thought.
More please 👍❤️

awesome
the reality of us and how things are
That's not HD. It's 240p. Wish people would stop mislabeling video.
Orders of magnitude.
I don't think 240p is actually "HD." :P
This video made me think of CD-ROM type disc video game called "Myst" strange game but it is a fun game.
I hate people who upload videos with HD in the title that *aren't actually in HD*. ಠ_ಠ
HD wasn't in the title...

Enjoyed the microscopic,. The alien macroscopic less, but nice video.

There are supposedly thousands of sci fi shorts, I do A search based on numbers of views and I still cant find more than say 25 in english. The games!

Durva, és mindez 2004-ben készült!
What I saw made no sense. Was never able to figure out what the message was.
Just another hey look we got mad skills video. No point no story.
Pretty standard CGI. No story to it whatsoever. Showing off is all it is.
The video was made in 2002, which at the time, this was pretty damn good CGI, i remember seeing it for the first time and being quite impressed.
la vida es arte
Aliens
Looks interesting but useless to present this at 244p.
Subnautica?
HD pleaseeee
wtf? whoever made the description was high, on something very strong, since it makes no sence whatsoever.
It's kinda poorly written but it does make sense, it's just a run-on sentence.
..sounds like an interrogation. :) Can we see your badge, please ?
Микро в макро естеством =)
ภาพคมชัดลึกดีแน่นอนมากครับเพอร์เฟกมากครับ
@AndyHarglesis What?
