I'm sorry for your loss, I almost lost my sister last year, she had cancer but she recovered. I understand your pain and I am praying for you and your family😘💗💙🤍🤍🤍🤍
I first heard this song when I was 16 and in a psychiatric hospital for anorexia. It was autumn when I was finally released from the hospital and this song reminds me of falling leaves and Halloween and finally being on the road to recovery.

It’s 2004, school just ended for the summer, you’re heading to the beach with your family. You’re mom turns on the radio while you’re in the backseat, this song comes on and you and your siblings start singing. Everything feels so simple and easy. Life is good. Wow to be young and have no responsibilities again...
I think she must have missed her music it brings her memories ❤for her to meet my mom and my sister Ashlee Dont ,let nobody push stop and take it away from you, Keep your head up high when you had black you and your sister Jessica I love you both as you girls are not getting any younger it is in your ❤ none of that music 🎶 like that anymore is in 👠 style it will make my sister cry,I hope and myself cry 😘 🤗 ❤Greetings from Massachusetts USA
I was at a truck stop today to get some decent coffee and they where playing this song over the speakers and it unlocked that hidden vault of nostalgia that I forgot was even there.
omg yes - that was me last week. I would never remember this song even existed and then *boom* I knew all the lyrics and no idea what the song tile was I had to shazam it
Early 2000's were a great time to be alive. When people weren't walking around like zombies glued to their phone. No social media. It was basically the 90's spilled over into the next century with added benefits of technology, without the socially destructive nature of it.
2010s start the downhill. 2020s is totally garbage. These billionaires that are boomers and Gen X causing all sort of issues. They don’t believe in system stability. This is where we are at.
This brings a bittersweet memory to mind. It reminds me of the euphoria of falling in love, but also the soul crushing moment when she tells me that she didn't want to be with me even though she assured me that she also fell for me. Someone who I will never forget.
Man this song brings back so many memories. I was 18, a senior in high school, had the best friends and was completely in love with the love of my life. I still remember laughing with Steve when I used to play this song in his car and sing my heart out. I laughed because I knew he secretly loved this song too. This song is like a time machine for those bittersweet teenage years. We tragically lost Steve on 110804. My heart has never been the same without him.
I remember watching this as a teenager, and noticing she recorded this barefoot - not a care in the world, not needing to wear heels or put on a show. She was just unapologetically her, and so comfortable with herself. It inspired me to be myself too, and find beauty in the simple things. I wish I could thank her for this. 🌸
@@podavus she’s definitely still putting on a show just a different type. The style of fashion doesn’t make a difference she still has a full face of makeup, clothing that was very popular in that era(god I’ll never look at those photos of myself again 😂), accessories etc. Simpler than heels yes, but she still had an image she was portraying.
Somehow it's the same for me! I was a totally different person back when I listened to this song compared to now. My fashion sense used to be just like hers, all punkish and girly, and now it's just casually plain lol. I guess getting out of a trend is just another part of growing up.
The 2000s were way way way better than the current era. Which is why Gen Z is trying to bring back the 2000s culture and style back to life. Glad I lived through those days as a teen.

+Master tbh, I'd rather listen to songs that have meanings, originality and still sound good even though the singer has just an average voice rather than listening to a song that sounds bland, sounds similar to other songs and have no meaning even though the singer is good :/

Best comment ever. You nailed it. That is pretty much what the 2000s felt like to me in spirit. Middle America, suburban houses, and music like this in Walmart
Wow! Can't believe this song was 20 years ago. I was 11 years old back then and my little sister was also born in the same year. Timeless classic 🎶🎧🎶❤🔥🔥
"On a Monday, I am waited. On a Tuesday I am fading. On a Wednesday, I can't sleep." LITERALLY ME RN CAUSE I AM STILL WAITING ON MY GOD DAMN COLOUR POP EYELINER. UPS WUS GOOD?!
I remember the Summer of 2004 I was listening to this going to Six Flags New Orleans. My friends and I from high school went there 2-4 times a month that entire Summer because our friend Griff worked there and let us in. Often this song would be playing either to or from the park. We were a solid crew of 5-6 all tight from school. That was the last Summer of normalcy that I can remember. Griff got let go from the park that following Summer and some of the guys either moved, got jobs, dropped out of school, or got into relationships. Then Katrina hit and flooded the park. It’s still standing with a sign which says “closed for storm.” Every time I see that park I just think of this song. That was the last normal Summer I ever had. Since then everything is still a work in progress going on 19 years.
this song is 15 years old... WHAT THE ACTUAL???? it was a super guilty pleasure when it came out back then, lol, i said I hated it but I secretly loved this song hahaha
Now 16 years. Yeah, times flies. This video brings me back to my early 20s when this was the style of dress (Well, for men how her band is dressed). I miss the more casual look.

"On a Monday, I am waited. On a Tuesday I am fading. On a Wednesday, I can't sleep." LITERALLY ME RN CAUSE I AM STILL WAITING ON MY GOD DAMN COLOUR POP EYELINER. UPS WUS GOOD?!
And Thursday waiting for love
What good nostalgia.
Currently drowning in nostalgia and I never realized how beautiful the lyrics of this song were until now 😭❤️...

Now 16 years. Yeah, times flies. This video brings me back to my early 20s when this was the style of dress (Well, for men how her band is dressed). I miss the more casual look.
