I get they cut it for comedy reasons but I wish they kept one of the most underrated scenes in the series in.
The scene when Goku proves to everyone just how much stronger Gohan is than him when he asks him “At any point in our fight did you have trouble tracking us, I mean were we moving to fast for you to see?” Then Gohan said no but only because he thought his dad and Cell were holding back, to which he replies “I don’t know about Cell but I was giving him everything I had, you only thought I was holding back because you were comparing my energy with yours.” And everyone was just STUNNED, especially Vegeta.
That scene literally made my jaw drop farther than it ever had as a kid.
They sort of kept the idea in, though they were clever and hid it in a joke. Last episode, when Cell split into 4:
Piccolo: "At least we can follow the action a little better now"
Gohan (surprised): "Wait, were you having trouble?"
Piccolo: "Uuuuh...yeah?"
Gohan: "Well, you're gonna have a lot more when they start getting serious"
Krillin (to Trunks): "Wow, Saiyans, am I right?"
Trunks (looks awkward): "Uh, yeah...?"
Krillin (to Trunks): "Oh shit, was that racist?"
Course, the clever bit is Trunks didn't answer awkwardly because it was racist - it was because he (like everyone but Gohan) was having trouble following the fight, so the "Saiyans, right?" comment just confused him. Also, random, but I swear (in the original) whenever they panned across the audience, only Gohans eyes were animated as he watched them move around the arena, everyone elses were just staring generally into the ring. Can't find the scene though so wondering if I imagined it.
"I'm more confused than a homeless man under house arrest." -Jimmy
"First of all, I find that offensive." -Satan
"Were you homeless? Did they find you in the subway? Did you get your start in bum fights?" -Cell
"This is gettin' oddly personal." -Satan
It's all but confirmed that Nappa picked Satan up off the streets. xD

I recommend that the next, and last, episodes should all be condensed into one. They are all so amazing and I think deserve a special from you guys. But this is just one guy’s suggestion. Either way, keep up the great content and look forward to the next few episodes. They are going to be the bomb!
Goku, the first time we see him he is 12 and his Powerlevel was around 10 in his normal non-fighting state. Gohan was 4 at first, 5 when saiyans arrive, around 7 when Trunks shows up, 10 when Androids shows up + 1 year in the time Chamber. He's eleven years old and his powerlevel is in billions. Powerlevel didn't make sense at this point. So they stopped using it. I hoped they'd never use it with freeza, but they did and it broke the scale. His small first form was 530 000 his last buffed form is like 120 millions.
I just remembered this is a parallel when Roshi did this with Tien in dragonball
Episode 48, the Tien episode is my fav
