In my eyes, the reason TFS's Mr Popo likes Dende so much is because Kami put up with Popo's antics and just kinda went along with them, while Dende actually gives him a little pushback. Like, everyone else is too terrified of Popo to give him any lip; but when he pokes Dende, Dende pokes back, and Popo appreciates it.

To be fair, if you’re going to make fun of Goku for the stupid crap he does when the world is in danger, then do the same for Vegeta. We wouldn’t be here if not for him letting Cell absorb 18, Krillin for not blowing 18, or Trunks for not killing 18 or Cell at that time.
Plus other times Vegeta let’s enemies get stronger. So if you make fun of Goku for stuff like that just remember Vegeta has done things like it as many times if not more.
Also technically Piccolo did allow a 4 year Gohan fight the Saiyans. While he didn’t care about him when he kidnapped Gohan, he did by the time Nappa and Vegeta showed up so…Piccolo doesn’t have a leg to stand on as well in this kind of situation.
I see something like this as ‘Goku messed up but just remember so has Vegeta, Krillin, Trunks, or Piccolo before so 🤷♂️’
Poor Yamcha, he never had any good moment throughout the series, even the villain felt pity for him 😂

9:50 Even if Goku took the senzu bean it still wouldn't be enough, and no one thinks about what Cell usually does when he starts losing or when he can't dominate, and goku can take senzu beans until he wins, and if Cell thought he could lose at that rate letting Goku heal as much as he wanted, Cell would do one of these two things, he would take the senzu bean for himself because no one can stop him, and he would heal himself and get a power boost himself, or the other option he would destroy them all along with the planet.
Goku definitely would say something like that I shouldn't say No but I won't say Yes

I don't want to be a Goku apologist, but if you look at it from his perspective, he really thought this whole thing out. If Gohan had played it safe with Cell, he may have never gotten desperate and unlocked the potential Goku knew he had. He would have tried to wear Cell down, which we found out wouldn't have been possible due to the huge reserve of power he still had. If anything, it might have driven Cell into a corner before Gohan was ready and.. Well, we see what he does when he has no way out.
Of course, there's the other main thing: Goku doesn't give a F**K about the world. I mean he does, because that's where the women who cooks his meals stays, but he's all about the fight. And until it's pointed out to him, he thought his son was about that Life too. Saiyan Pride is a MFer, especially when you actually want the smoke from a stronger being.
This honestly was the best option, but if not. Then one of the best options.

14:30 This is of course a joke they made Goku tell as the reason, but Goku knowing how strong Cell is and how strong his son is, Goku knows that that senzu bean won't have much effect because Cell already healed his body, and the senzu bean will only replenish his expended energy, with this move Cell thinks he has an advantage, and won't notice Gohan's hidden power during the fight, and Gohan has a chance to transform surprise Cell and beat him.

Gohan could have easily killed cell without cell BACK AT FULL strength not to mention if they just say f the rules goke could actually eat the senzu bean and they team up and destroy cell

@ShirouBrando fucking facts. Cell could have easily be defeated if all the super saiyans teamed up on him but no fighting 1v1 for the fate of the universe is what they do
@ShirouBrando If Cell is wounded, he doesn't play around and kills Gohan quickly, then destroys the world. If the Super Saiyans tried teaming up, he'd do the same. Gohan, at this time, is the only one who had a chance to defeat Cell without the Earth being destroyed in the process

@bradleybarnett1469 wounded cell is about as strong as Ssj Goku and you throw Gohan on top of that and goku is back at full strength Cell would not have enough time to do anything
