She IS a superstar. Just not in the drivel crowd on the radio nor in the charts. There are radio stations that play this stuff. Probably on xm too. Or make your own playlist on a memory card and skip the ads and other garbage.

I learned that lesson ~1988ish listening to Nanci Griffith live at the Capitol Theatre in Concord, New Hampshire, The Shaw Brothers, a couple others escaping me at the moment. The majority of stuff on the radio (what charts reflect and drive) is garbage anyway- Adele is a perfect example. “Hits” but no musicianship- and if your instrument is your voice you better be able to pull it off if you want anything more than Billboard. There’s just very, very few singers like Carrie Underwood, Billy Joel, Ann Wilson, Evanescence, David Draiman… and there’s a whole lot of great singers who don’t have the vocal panache like Ms Reinhart and the others noted above- they can’t steal a live show, they don’t pull it off outside a studio. Not being on the charts? Not a problem! She’s in fantastic company.
One day I will listen to her sing this song and NOT cry.... today is not that day. Dammit! Also, the guitarist looks like he's enjoying the show as much as everyone else.
Infinitives devalue fantastic performances because best is subjective and empirically “the best” are not best at everything. They are just better than the rest and usually versatile and in that elite small group made up of the “best” singers.
