Ordered one online recently. Looking forward to test it. While not the best mic out there I think it is a solid upgrade over onboard mics.

It is. Used it today as a shotgun for my next vlog. Happy with the sound.

What do you think of Zoom M3, it's a shotgun mic with MS stereo mics, is it better to have 3 channels setup if you want center shotgun clear mono or directional sound and stereo? That MS on the M3 place very close in the shotgun tube, will it be great? How about Sennheiser MKE 440 where it's 2 mics point away from each other, it is marketed as patented V shape that make the sound in the center of the screen clearer, but is this really special or if you have stereo mics point to same angle will achieve same clearness? What's the recommended small setup to achieve such 3 channels mono plus stereo setup? Zoom F3 plus a shotgun mic? Zoom M4 with 2 XLR mics like Line Audio CM4 point backward or a shotgun mic point forward?

Os it just better to just put Sony D10 record on top of your camera? What's he point to point both of the mic so close together and point parallelly forward?
    By the way,
    Sony A7RV / A6700 + 16-35 F4 PZ / 10-20 F4 PZ + Tamron 150-500 / Sony 70-350 or
    Fuji XT5 + 8 + 100-400 or
    Panasonic G9 II / GX9 + 9mm / 8-18 + 100-400 / 50-200
    + Panasonic HC-X1500 camcorder 25-600
For everyday photography and full person subject with blur background street photography and rare occasionally shoot video on it plus slow motion?
I like the Sony 4 ways screen, I think it will be nice experience to have the dedicated tactile photography dials on the Fuji and Panasonic setups will be the lightest and 300 fps plus my favorite color is yellow hence I like the Panasonic menu aesthetic! I want my picture to looks realistic and want to shoot JPG/HEIF mostly hence I no longer really into the Fuji film simulation.
I into ultramacro but I not sure should I take it into consideration because you can just google them as they mostly looks the same. I consider full size body or actual pocketable camera because camera in between don't provide good handling yet still need a bag to carry anyway, since RX100 can't provide all what I need, I will just use iPhone 15 for pocket camera. I'm not a bokeh person but want everything in focus with story and creativity and just has few projects need blur background.

Totally feel the dilemma, my stereo microphone in my bag when I want to capture stereo audio.
That Lowcut filter is sooo aggressive.
I have the Rode Videomic X and I love the audio quality, and I would love to hear how the XYST1M compares to it.
The ease of use utilizing the Multi Interface Shoe is quite appealing.
I would love it on my FX6, which I have to disconnect my shotgun microphone if I want to connect the Rode Videomic X's Dual XLR output.

Yeah man. 😂 its like having to chose bad stereo or no stereo at all.. 🫠

I've owned both and the Rode Videomic X is MUCH, MUCH BETTER than that Sony model. The Rode Videomic X is an actual broadcast quality mic (in terms of audio quality).

This model is so old. It's so strange that they still haven't offered any alternative to this..

You from Sweden? Wow I would love to move to there one day and hopefully found a wifey material lady! Have you heard Line Audio CM4 pencil condenser and OM1 omnidirectional mics?
