So good Hadi ! Didn't expect it to be this thorough, I'm glad it is, that was so interesting, thank you. Can't wait to see how things turn out for Michael with this very good Michigan team & program. Next summer camp with him and Demidov should be so electric Hydro-Quebec will want to tap into it.
Excited by his development, his prospect camp made him look like a legit threat, a highly skilled dude, a Jordan Kyrou type talent with a bit more size. Don’t forget he is also from Montreal!
habs moved up for a specific reason...to draft Hage above his projections. love this pick. his sizzle real is insane. idk why he wasn't a consensus top 15 pick. it's not like he's small.
Insane how Ive been listening to the Locked On Nhl Prospects podcast for a year now every week. Thanks Hadi for all the analysis, such a threat to listen, and now I get to see it on the EP channel. Keep up the fantastic work man.
Most fanbases would be hyping the shit out of this kid but he almost gets lost in the shuffle in MTL cause of Demidov and Hutson etc. Great skater, great hands, great offensive instincts. It's a fun time to be a habs fan for sure. Great video Hadi keep it up.
Settle down - Pencil him in as a 3rd liner. Decent moves but he doesn’t do them fast enough. Also his style seems more suited to have the puck on his stick making moves instead of complement anyone. His shot is ok as well. Solid playmaking 3rd liner at his maximum level. A 2nd liner on a bad team Maximum. And that’s if he achieves his ceiling
Stay calm guys, he's good but he doesn't have lateral speed, it's going to be complicated. Also like Turcotte, Demidov, he doesn't move his feet once the blue line is passed, and there is a big problem if you want to beat NHL D. He needs more crossovers.
@@luvdvno I do not have any clue, but look how stars Mathews and Marner skate, McDavid, Jack Hugues, or Logan Cooley, and I can find a new generation skater in each city in this league. Lot of speed in the offensive zone, and a lot of crossovers to beat D-man. Speed is King and skating is Queen, if you are not able to process the play at high speed, it is going to be tough, it is hard like hell for Turcotte, maybe he will succeed with time but this is a CPU matter, and it is very hard to improve once the CPU is done.
@@genestdaniel9882 I won't lie in this vid he looked fine with what you're saying, and he still have time to work on everything. Once you're drafted, there are specialists helping you at every camp and even outside hockey like in the gym and things like that. He's only 18.
@@Emotionless0000 Exactly my friend, he has a lot of time, and he will need it as it is hard to correct as often their organizations don't identify the matter and the solutions. He needs to work on his visuospatial processing abilities to process the elements in his field of vision faster. It can be improved by exercises with specialists and he needs to work on it to process faster his spatial environment. I've seen it with so many prospects so when I scouted Demidov and Hage, it jumped instantly to my eyes. Usually, those players compensate by puck protection skills and developing their hands, so when arriving in the offensive zone where the pressure and speed rise, they expand their feet and start to slide and then take all the necessary time to process the game, they can succeed until they reach the NHL where a lack of speed of anything doesn't forgive. And they were the only two prospects in the first round with that matter and Canadiens drafted them both, pretty interesting. Some will never identify the problem or solve it because we are not developing it in hockey.
Kent Hughes traded up to pick Hage. That tells you what you need to know about Michael's potential. And given the untimely passing of his father, all Habs fans have an extra reason to root for him.
Oh shit Hadi making his EP debut in style

Man he looks nice in those clips. Real smooth

Pretty cool to see one of the only hockey players of Lebanese descent being analysed by a fellow Lebanese Canadian.

They drafted him about where he was projected to go but it seemed very clear that they had him much higher on their list
@macrost8935 he was mid 20s in all the lists I saw.
You pronounced Demidov well. That's cool. Your analysis of Hage's progression is cool too.
Thanks for the update, much appreciated
Great video man

You meaned treat* and not threat right ?

Michael Hage reminds me so much of Jason Spezza in the way he’s dangling and skating in terms of playing style.
Great video! Loved it
impressive
he looks like the real deal
Moving up to 21 might be the smartest thing the Habs did all year.
Sharks - Habs future of the NHL
yup both teams are gonna be scary
Wow.. I don't know if he can play with Demidov, but the two of them together will be lethal.
right into my veins
I know right? I been high on shooting up prospects since that Slaf, Hutson draft... It's an amazing buzz, hopefully no side effects!
I think he will be an upgrade on Dach
see a little Nylander
AND he wants to be a montreal canadien
Are there any other teams in the NHL than the Montreal Canadiens?
If there is, you should go watch their videos. Karen
31 !
None worth mentioning.
None that matters 😂

@@genestdaniel9882did you watch the video? A portion of it is clips of his effective use of crossovers to beat defenders. 🤡
