Was on this bs for over 30 years so fucking glad I'm out!! Been a Megadeth fan since the early days and saw them the first time in '87 on the "Wake Up Dead" Tour w/Overkill opening!! Show was at the Trocadero in Philly!! Was really amazing!!

It’s such a bummer that you’ve really gotta get locked into a death spiral with Heroin to be a great interesting musician. Dave wrote better on the junk for sure- I think that’s almost necessary if you want to be really great. Otherwise you’re just ok.

I completely disagree. Drugs don't make you better, they just bring you down in a bad spiral. Dave wasn't better when he was taking drugs, he's just so good that even when he was taking drugs, he was still able to write good songs. Whitout drugs he would've been better. And by the way, Rust in Peace, which is considered by many as the best thrash metal album of all time and definitely the best Megadeth album out there, was written when they all were sober, so I don't agree that you need drugs to produce great music.

Biggest arsehole in music, beside Sharon Osbourne and at least she rolls Ozzy out on stage and we really dont have to listen to her.
