Dee Jay is honestly the coolest character in this game. His animations, his vibes, and the fact that he is actually really good is amazing. Prime example: 8:53
His personanilty has so much richness and flavor. He brings life to the game, all the other characters have this dull quirk and some are just plain emo.
I gotta give mad props to the design team since they were able to turn Dee Jay from one of the most forgettable characters of the Street Fighter cast, even with his longevity, to one of the absolute coolest.
He has the coolest moves in the game, full with momentum and power, not to mention the balance of ease and difficulty behind his rythm inputs. Combined with his mind games and projectiles, he is so fun. His design and his gattling super make him one of the most coolest character in SF. How can you dislike his evil grin behind that glasses. In the past he was one of Shadow Loos henchmen.
That was the cleanest Dee Jay gameplay I’ve seen. Those combos were flawless. I play Dee Jay and those combos are not as easy as he made it look. From the combos to the pressure all the way to the defense was impeccable. I definitely see why Dogura is a master of this character. 🔥🎮💪🏾
He’s definitely hard to master. I main Dee Jay and while I have a relatively solid grasp on him, there’s a lot I still need to get better at. Since his kit is so versatile I think Dee Jay players fall into the trap of not picking the right counter-play to the opponent; combined with DI, DR and parry, it’s quite a lot lol. Also his feints I’ve found need to be used but used with intention and not just tossed out praying the opponent will fall for it. Obviously not speaking for Dogura considering his Dee Jay is so freaking good, most of what I’ve learned is from watching Dogura and Namikaze’s Dee Jays.

Everyone actually has pretty good burnout recovery animations when crouching. Those little details go a long way

A week ago I'd have said Namikaze is the best Deejay. Now seeing Dogura I'm like wow he's on another level.
