The most hilarious thing about these people is when they can't even use the tools properly because they don't know anything about the hardware, for example the first guy trying to scan for NFC inside iPhone with the screen of the Flipper Zero LMAO!

so as for the card, its obviously possible to scan the EMV chip and read the info. so are you saying that it only wont work when attempting to emulate the NFC key at a tap to pay terminal?

Thanks for making this video, this is whole faking is annoying as hell. I remember going on a discord of a guy "selling" flippers despite them being out of stock everywhere. When i pointed that out and tried to tell people that it's not a legit store i got banned from the server 🙄
That's basically like what some Chinese hacking magazines do, except they include tutorials on how to use those tools & strategies on how to use them effectively, complete with screenshots in full color.
It's good to see another skeptic that has a grip on this stuff. I wanted to do a video like this. I know how the Opticomm system works. I'm old and used a 555 timer, a couple of components, and a handful of IR leds. I got it down, but I know the penalty for messing with it would make it so I'd probably never see the light of day again. Frequencies and knowledge matter, and if it seems like they're doing it for clout, then doubt, my people.

The trik is holding your card up against the flipper on the back, then bringing the flipper to the scanner; thus actually tapping the card for the illusion.

I've heard rumors of a very poorly implemented payment system on at least one college campus using credit cards and NFC that might be susceptible to a Flipper replay. With the information given it actually sounds plausible. They appear to be keeping some kind of rolling tab and only charging the cards once per month to avoid per transaction credit card fees. I have previously saw something similar in action in a vending machine but sadly that vending machine was removed long before Flipper came out. It used the mag stripe and only charged purchases at the end of the day.
In the rumoured system the card isn't actually authorized at the POS so it doesn't appear to be doing the usual cryptographic exchange. It only uses the readable part of the credit card data as an identity. Similar to to how a hotel safe works or the card swipe you sometimes have to do to access the locked area where some ATM machines are. I'd love if anyone could verify this system exists.
So in many POS systems you can actually manually process credit cards without the sufficient security details. The retailers who choose to do this lose any protection from the payment processing companies, so if they do choose to accept insufficient security for their credit card payments, then you can definitely buy stuff with the info you can use from a Flipper.
Emergency vehicles have a device in them to change traffic lights, and you can buy it. The flipper would need some power behind it to reach a traffic light.
The traffic light one is fake? Was sure I'd seen one somewhere that actually triggered the white light.
I'm trying to find someone with a Flipper triggering the white light. I'm sure it's possible, I just don't think this video is it.

So that very first clip. While yes, it's true to a certain degree at the same time, it's not because you can scan any cards. It'll give you the numbers and maybe some basic information but it won't provide you with the three digit on the back of the card
This so needed to be done, call out these fake and misinformation videos.
I honestly don't want to put down any other creators, but at the same time if you're not being upfront and truthful, I feel like someone needs to say something!

Brother your videos are above all enlightening... with the last update I installed today I have lost a lot of my favorite apps and games like roots of life and the newer version of asteroids doom reaction test colour guess etc. I have encountered this before and it usually allows me to install most of the games and apps.

credit card does work it shows the numbers and the expire date and visa but not the 3 digit code, if you try it on a register it says duplicate card and wont work. but aside from that it can in fact steal the numbers and the date
I’m sure some of these are possible based on zeroday talking on the Shawn Ryan show but the run of the mill as he stated will not do this but with someone who knows what they are doing can. Also no need to attack to be clear I’m no where near 95% of people who do this are capable of

You can read credit cards easily if its on iPhone and if the screen is on tap to pay they can quickly read the nfc although if your not on the tap to pay screen they can't so it can kinda read credit cards from an iPhone

You forgot to say you can program the flipper to read nfc cards. With all the details. I feel that’s important to mention. As people will have the wrong idea. Stock the flipper 100% cannot get the important info from a card. If you know how to program you can really put all the features of the flipper to use.

While I appreciate you stating which of these videos are legit and which are fake, I wish you would have explained more on why the ones that were fake were actually fake. Especially the credit card videos. The Flipper does read some information from the cards. You should explain what it is actually reading and why it can't be used for purchasing aside for just saying the hardware doesn't support it.

Um, yes it can, I could hook a blender up to a relay connected to the GPIO pins and bam, my flipper runs a blender, just as an example
He actually buy stuff just to try thing on them he has quite a bit of specialty equipment. And the lights will change but you will need a iR flashlight and you have to wire the switch so you can send a pulse signal to the iR flashlight you have to have the right frame rate for the pulse and a delay if you look hard enough on line you can find the frame rate and delay time needed 🛠️💯👍✌️🍻
