Cam made himself lose his arm.... he is not that dumb to keep repeating his stupid actions, he has a 18 wisdom! This is the best thing to happen in the whole campaign.
Mark has already answered that the Cleric either had a scroll or the ability to cast Greater Restoration or Flesh to Stone, otherwise by saving him they would've essentially killed Korak/Adrik.
Where getting close to the final but has it really been two years damn time flies I’ll be sad to see it this campaign go but I’m excited to see the next one and hope they can top this one which can be difficult in my opinion cause this campaign was sooooooooooooo amazing
Monks can dash as a bonus action (it costs a ki point, but still) so Jiutous top speed would be 165ft every 6 seconds reaching 180ft at later levels . . . . if you made a Wood Elf monk and took the 'mobile' feat your potential maximum speed would be 225ft every 6 seconds . . . which is nuts
I did 110 feet per 6 because that's what she did in the episode. Also 225 per 6 is still ~25.6 mph. Again, still slower than Usain Bolt, which when you consider how powerful high level characters are actually seems slow.
If you shapechange into a storm giant, 20th level monk with mobile feet, longstrider spell, boots of speed, haste spell, dash three times with bonus action, action and haste action you would move at 1680 ft per round or around 190 miles per hour. Monks break the laws of physics
@@crake4043 So you replied to a 2 year old comment to say that if you apply numerous magical effects you can then make a monk go very fast. So the monk didn't break physics. Magic did. Wow, what a revelation.
Did those guys just use all those spells right next to the fall shard that Adrick carries around all the time? I was under the impression that magic didn't work around that crystal stuff.
Farewell to Arms... The best thing that has happened in this whole campaign! LMAO! Still an hour left in this episode so lets see what happens... I hope he does not get it back!
Jiutou is so careful about burial rites and respecting dead and then with this dragonborn she just rips off her arm and lets Smiffy stuff her in a hole 😂
Only just catching up on these, is it just me or has Jiutou got 4 magic items attuned? weapon, bracers, something else that up's her ac (forgotten it's name) and now the spell storage ring, I can remember she had 3 things attuned when she got the bracers it's why she had to give cam the doss lute to be able to attune to the bracers.
Jiutou can move 55ft in six seconds by default. She can dash to double that speed in the same amount of time. 110 ft in six seconds is an average of 18.3MPH. I don't remember if she has extra with step of the wind or if those don't stack.
We are 100% doing this and PLEASE spread the word. We're aiming to launch Campaign 2 on July 1st. :) It will be a brand new world, new story, new characters so great chance for people to start watching.
I have spent 82 episodes hoping that Jiutou would develop a bit and stop the constant fake anger... the only hope left is that the C2 character is less irritating
Hmm, if you asume every episode is exatly 2 hours long, after next episode, it will be a total of 168 hours. That is enough video for 7 days straight without break. Nice timing for the last episode. Of course, this is ignoring the variations in episode length, the time of breaks, donations and more...
Shasskor there's actually almost 200 hours of gameplay so far (not including breaks and introductions/donations) so although we're at about 8 full days of content, the final episode should bring it to the 200 hour milestone ;)
Does that number include all the non-cannon sessions? If so, it might be 2 milestones in one! If not, it's ok. I was half expecting someone to come and tell me that what I said somehow was fundementally wrong, and that there would be no milestone at all, other than the series finale. Your coment was far more intresting and informative! Thank you.
Shasskor No, that's just the canon episodes :) If you go on the high rollers stats website there's a page on it (but I've not updated episodes 82 and 83 yet, hence why I'm here). But yeah, somehow they're managed to end it on a great set of timing milestones :)
Well, to be fair, Elora was Katies first character, while Trott has played for a long time. He's probably had multiple characters die or be dismembered.
How come cam buckland never uses his abilities to their fullest every time you cast bane he only puts it on one creature you can do it up to three creatures bro same thing with bless he only blesses one creature when you can do 3 how long do playing come no now u can do it
Adrik? In that full plate, more like Adrip!...I'll see myself out, last door on the left? Sidenote: Juitou seems a little peeved this episode dont she?
You know.. Call me a weirdboy but its kinda annoying how the players keep finding a way out these tough "PLAYER CONSEQUENCE" situations that should really punish them for doing something they shouldn't, npc dies np just revive them later, elora turns into a frost giant np we got divine intervention(small chance but still) and even this episode with cam, Bad decision immediately solved with "oh yeah i got the spell to fix it" still enjoy the series a lot but i hope campaign 2 is more strict with permanent changes or similar things since they have experience with the game now
Well they are currently level 15. If these things happened earlier in the series (like with Demitriv) the death of an NPC would have had a much bigger impact.
I agree they are incredibly powerful at this point so it makes sense so it makes they have these tools, its just mildly annoying when something really bad is solved with resurrection or divine intervention almost every time imo
It's a part of the game and not something I want to take away from the core rules of the game. I do hear your frustrations though and I partially agree.
This is the reason some people dislike higher levels and stop campaigns when players reach them. Most things a dm can do to a player at high levels can be reversed, and that is within the nature and the rules of the game.
It wouldn't be HR without the DM ignoring/abusing the rules. Right off the bat, I've barely watched the start, he should have made that constitution saving throw first because it would prevent him from taking the reaction. His combat mistakes always seem to fall in favour of the bad guys... Edit: Now he's using sneak attack without any advantage or adjacent allies. I mean... he didn't even somehow claim the black dragonborn was hidden. That's not even trying to get the rules right. Edit 2: Misusing vitriolic sphere. Cam passed, the acid does not stay on him. I'm just counting the big obvious errors out of curiousity. Edit 3: Well this is a first. He forgot the extra damage on Balythas which would have caused a failed death save... combined with his Nat 1 death save Balythas is dead dead. Edit Addendum: oh... he remembered it 2 turns later.... when it should have been gone...
This episode was bullshit. A caster that lost an arm and was restrained not only escaped in five minutes but could cast spells and was able to melt off a characters arm and then escape. This is the DM being a doorknob and giving the NPCs the power to do things that they shouldn't be able to.
Is that hypocrisy...? She's defending her own race which was enslaved by Dragonborn. It makes sense that she doesn't take kindly to her own people being oppressed and that she hates her oppressors.
ChaosChronicle It is racism, regardless of who’s oppressing who. Additionally, the racism was directed towards those who were helping the Tieflings as well.
I think you need to put the SJW stuff down and just accept that her character distrusts dragonborn from Bressarus because she was enslaved by Dragonborn. That's the character. She is a Tiefling who wants to save her people and she sees Dragonborn oppression as an obstacle. Nothing she's done is hypocritical and it's awfully extreme to label her character as racist.
You've never referred to a cat as "Mr. Cat/Kitty Kitty Kitty/etc."? D&D exists in a high fantasy setting, races are extremely distinguished and not comparable to 'race' in human culture. The difference between an Elf and a Human are not just skin color and whether or not you grew up in the forest. So, no, referring to Cam as "Mr. Human," which does not bother Cam, and was not intended to upset Cam, and was meant as a honorific and eventually petname to Cam, is not racist. Monks don't break physics with their movement speed. 110 feet per 6 seconds is 12.5 miles per hour. Usain Bolt tops out just under 28 miles per hour.

Recap 5:58
This episode shows that Feign Death is just Anasthesia Awareness.
My prediction for the finale.. Jiutou might be furious at some point!
Jiutous speed is only actually as fast as the fastest american marathon runner. around 12.2 MPH.
If she dashes it's over 18 MPH
I believe the fastest recorded runner comes in at 28.5 MPH.
What did Kim say at 32:28
Raging hard on
Sorry it is late but happy birthday Smith

I don't think the weapon is attunement required. The bracers and cloak are upping her AC/saving. The spell storage ring is likely attunement required.

jiutou runs almost triple the speed of usain bolt
12.5 miles per hour? That's less than a third of Bolt's top speed.
I just Googled it he can run at 27.5 mph ... that's about the same as my mopeds top speed when I was 16
Jiutou can move 55ft in six seconds by default. She can dash to double that speed in the same amount of time. 110 ft in six seconds is an average of 18.3MPH. I don't remember if she has extra with step of the wind or if those don't stack.
Shoe That's fast, but still far from world record.
Yeah, I did some really bad maths and was thinking 110/second, not six
