    You just put too much product on it. Try it with mousse on stretch dry hair then oil the ends for less frizz. Start rolling from ends to top then secure. It looks nice though. I still liked it.

    Hi Alisha! I just ordered these rollers & I have the same texture hair as you. I allowed my 16yr old to roll my hair. My hair turned out GREAT! You might want to try again & sit under the dryer. I don’t think it was the rollers. Sometimes it could be the products.

    Hi Alisha, try 2 strand twist then apply those rollers. I think it will lay the hair down tighter to your scalp. Less frizz. Your hair still came out beautiful! 👍🤗TFS!

    Hi Alisha,
    I came across your video and watched your process installing your hair rollers. Just a suggestion. Perhaps try pulling each section of hair until it's straight and begin rolling your hair from the ends to the root. Other viewers mentioned using a bonnet style hair dryer. I think the heat will help flatten your natural curl enough to form to the desired curls and smoothness you are looking to achieve. I haven't read through all the responses but, I am sure there are similar suggestions. I like the quality of your videos and the helpful tutorials so far. Look forward to learn how your second attempt with the hair rollers work for you.

    I am old school these roller not new to me. You used to much product on your hair it was too wet. Plus you need to sit under dyer, you can not air dry your hair with these rollers because they are made of silicone it holds moisture. Try it again with less products and less wetness

    Hi Alisha and thanks for your review! I received the Magic Rollers for Christmas and this was my first time trying them. I searched for videos on TH-cam, and they weren't very helpful--I should have watched yours first! Aside from the fact that I have long, straight hair and didn't know what I was doing, the way you rolled your hair made much more sense than what I'd seen. And the way you removed the rollers was very helpful also. Although our hair types are very different in texture and length, the neatness of the wrap and the order of removal is very helpful and I thank you! You are a beautiful lady!

    I feel like in general when doing overnight hairstyles, curly hair is easiest to do when the hair is dry in a stretched state THEN add foam to each section, itll dry a lot faster and our curls wont bunch up inside causing those flat frizzy looking curled ends. Im going to order them now wish me luck!

      Chantal Laneau use your rollers. Everybody hair is different. I know reviews are made to kind of sway us but all the reviews that I have seen on these rollers have been beautiful. My 16yr old rolled my hair up with mine that I ordered & my hair turned out beautiful. I rolled my daughter hair up with them & since she didn’t sit under the dryer hers didn’t turn out so good. So I think you should try them for yourself.

  • @youopened_mandorasbox
    @youopened_mandorasbox ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think if you rolled smaller sections and used styling gel instead of styling foam, it would've been curlier . Also maybe try it on stretched and detangled hair and tried to make sure that the rollers are tighter. I have 4c hair and Ive been natural for 7yrs and I know that when I style my hair, I make sure to detangle it and to use ample amounts of styling gel in order for my curls to come out . Im still going to try these rollers tho 😁

    Hi. You're hair didn't look completely dry to me once u took the rollers out, but it was fun watching another review for these rollers. I purchased some the other day and I think it's a good product. I have dreads & I tried it on just one dread to test it (while my hair was completely dry) & I slept with it in & it turned out well. Try again. Ur natural hair is pretty & extremely curly so maybe just try blowdrying it first & stretching. Just try different methods. With practice makes perfect! Stay safe.

    I never think any of these new products work. I read some of the comments and suggestions perhaps try some of their recommendations. 🤷🏽‍♀️

      Actually that type of roller is old. I remember them when I was youngster, I'm 61. We called them spool rollers. Ours weren't as fat tho.

    It looked better when you started. Sorry you had to do all that work.

    From the moment you put the first roller in, i felt your technique was off. I believe combing and pulling the hair long and wrapping would be better, similar to how you would wrap regular rollers. You wrapped already curled and bunched up hair around the rollers. Maybe try a few times and perfect the technique prior to critiquing the rollers.

      Ebony Lady this is exactly what I was going to say.you can’t get a smooth curl with wet hair that wasn’t really detangled or smoothed out
