The new Echo MS-7310P CHAINSAW get a ride to the WOODYARD in the Toyota Tundra today so that it can be put through the woodyard gambit of testing that we are about to unleash on it! It was supplied by EVERGREEN POWER in Little Chute Wisconsin and it will be used and pushed to see if it can hold up to the woodyard work!
I have now put 2 tanks of gas through the ECHO CS-7310P and it cuts great! You all will see it if a few days and then again in about a week! As my good friend Loyd Christmas says..."I like it a LOT!"
I've got about 5 tanks of fuel through mine and I love it!
I have always heard the Echos have harder material in their rings so instead of 3-5 tanks for them to seat and the saw really starts running well. The Echos may take closer to 8-9 tanks of fuel. Will be interesting to see when yours takes off running stronger!
Welcome to echo nation!
Had my 7310 for about a year. Absolutely nothing bad to say about it!
My Echo leaf blower and chainsaw both woke up a lot after a few tanks. The saw took more tanks, I guess because it's a smaller tank. @@waynetharp
Young lady did a great job Very knowledgeable. Thanks for sharing 👍
Yes and yes!
Great video folks! Heard great things about the 7310! Looking forward to seeing it at work! We’ll see you tomorrow! 🔥💯👍. Andrew from NB :)
It will be cutting in a few days!
Not a fan of the majority of what Echo and Husky make but Echo’s top handle saws are excellent. It’s not anything close to the Stihl 200 with a 16’ bar but it’s probably just below the 201 with a 16’ bar and the same at the 194. I mostly use top handle saws up in the trees or a 261 with a 18’ bar.
They all make great saws.
I've had my ECHO 7310 for over a year and a half.
No problems no issues no worries.
Put it through some big wood & it keeps on going.
I love it.
Yup, so far it is great!
Got 2 of the Echo cs-590 Timberwolfs it's a good saw for price and workhorse great for cutting trees up. The 20" has good power and speed. The 28" works good with skip chain for doing bigger stuff..
Yup, I have ran a few of them, nice saws!
Hi Chris!!😀😀
You finally found a Toyota chainsaw. LOL!! 😂😂
Take care buddy!!😀😀💚💚
Logger Al
Yup, she really runs and cuts great...a lot like a 372 husky.
I only own stihl saws and have never had a fuel or oil cap leak and never seen anybody else’s leak either. But somebody’s must because you always mention it.
Lol
A lot of people that have them have told me they leak and my buddy who has a bunch of the has a couple leakers so we give him crap all the time about it. Stihl makes great stuff and all saws will leak eventually, one of my old Husqvarnas leaks bar oil too..
@@InTheWoodyard Maybe it’s because I brush and wipe all debris away before opening then clean the groove and o ring every time.I’m sure my 460 has well over a thousand tanks of fuel through it,my newer saws are harder to get things lined up but stihl no leaks.I do wish they were threaded caps though.I did have a cousin who runs the H brand and managed to cross thread the fuel cap some how.The only saw I had leak oil was an Poulan pro it leaked bar oil out of the oiler when not using so I had to drain the oil tank when done using to keep from making a mess.Have a buddy that’s been running that same Echo saw now for a couple months he wants to race my RIPSAW 500i with it.Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the performance of it.
G’morning Chris ! I LOVE mine. Ran 2 tanks yesterday. As you remember, mine was tuned rich from factory. Mine needed leaned out. You’ll need to pull the limiters. Excellent saws. We need a rematch now ! Grrrrreat choice.
GoodNightIrene
Yup, I have ran a couple tanks through it now, it is a lot like a 462 or a 372/572....very nice.
Upon watching the older video, mine was really dogged down with the factory carb adjustment. It has lots of low end torque now ! Wow
Have a couple 620p’s one stock and one modded. Echo makes great machines. Takes a minute for them to break in. They are conservatively built. Even a muffler mod will make a difference…
Yup, they are made to last not burn up like some saws.
@@InTheWoodyard
I have a couple of 5 series Husky saws that I like too FWIW, so I'm not totally biased.
If you haven't already, get a Hipa spline carb adjustment tool that way you don't have to deal with the adjustment limiters.
Good morning everyone have a good day nice stuff like it ( Ty Ron
Hello!
Good Morning Chris, Its certainly PRETTY! Nice Saw🤘🏻🪵🇺🇸
Morning! Yup, she cuts too!
I was wondering if you went to Evergreen Chris. It’s very overwhelming when you first walk into their store. It’s hard to stay focused, like a kid in a candy shop!
Yup,l lots of great stuff!
Echo is making a great saw. Got myself a 620p- wrap handle last year. Best chip discharge I’ve ever had!
Yup, the 7310 does that well too!
Hard to beat the Echo 620P in the value for the money spent category!
The biggest Echo I have is the CS-620P X series with a 28in bar it’s a cutting machine for a 60cc saw. ECHO products definitely rank up there with Husky and Stihl . Keep on cutting 😎
Yup, I am finding that out, it cuts great so far, you will see it soon!
Nice video Chris. Evidence by the shop towel, guessing the shop pre-tuned this before you got there? Anxious to see your trial. GNI
It is a great saw we all really like it a lot!
So why do 2 of the big 3 (Husky, Stihl, and Echo), put Autotune/M-tronic on their chainsaws, but not on their leaf blowers and string trimmer? Hmmm???
Echo does not have auto tune as far as I know.
I'm thinking of getting a new saw, my Husky is 34yrs old and I can't get parts. What's your opinion on a Husqvarna 460 Rancher 60.3-cc? I only cut about 10 cords a year, but I ain't gonna do it by hand! Don't have an Echo dealer any where close.
Yes. for that amount of wood that should be a good choice.
Nice store! Nice to have sooo many choices, depending on your needs and application. I laughed when the display for the 450 was vacant (great saw, bought one for my son as a housewarming present)!! Thanks for the video and thanks to Evergreen for being there!
Yup, thanks for watching!
As far as the 70cc range chainsaw, HUSQ 372 is absolutely dominate over this 7310 saw in every way. We own 3 Echo 620s, which are incredible chainsaws in the 60 cc space though.
I have ran a lot of 70cc saws new and old...Husqvarnas Stihls and the Echo. They are all very close. All great saws.
Do Husqvarna and Echo pro saws use the same bars/chains in terms of studs/slot and drive links (assuming 3/8 .050)???
Yes I think the pro saws do.
I tells ya what. I gotta Hollzforma G660 pro with the Italian piston thingy, a Wrap handle and a 28 inch bar all broke in and I'll put that 7310 against it any day.
Nice, so far I like it a lot!
hi there good looking saw best to all john
Thanks Sir John, have a great day!
I have 2 Echo 620p saws, 24” and 27” bars. They are beasts and so much less expensive than Husqvarna or Stihl.
Yup the 620 is on my to do list!
My favourite saw hands down is my echo 620pw that i had ported by donny walker. I cant put it down. Hogs a 28 inch bar full house through 25 inches of dry maple at 12.1k rpm. Show me another 60cc saw that can do that. Those 7310s are good saws as is but theyre unbelievable when you port them. Echo makes solid, reliable, hardworking stuff. The only drawback they have is the rediculous stipulations california puts on them for import. Thats why their exhausts are prohibitevely restrictive. Open that sumbitch up and she'll haul ass.
That sounds like a good some day project!
I'm glad they are revamping their saws, I didn't buy them before because they were cheaply made compared to others
They are nice!
I have not had my hands on a 7310...Will be interesting to see if it finds a place in your line up or a new home in the future!👍
It is great, I have ran it a couple times now...try one.
@InTheWoodyard In my town, there is a Stihl and Echo shop instead of Husky. I will have to stop in and see if they have one I can at least put my paws on!
Well, as a husqvarna guy myself, I have always preferred my 372s over most. But I have recently acquired one of these 7310s and I absalutely love it!!! Bone stock, this saw has plenty of power in big wood(if you are running a sharp chain as you always should lol) starts really nice, and the filter system is one of the best on the market I believe....you will love how smooth this saw is😊😊
Right on, I agree, it is a great saw!
@InTheWoodyard yessir!!! I am a firewood guy as well brother!! Been selling wood fir 22 years now!! Always been a Husqvarna guy and still am, but man, that 7310 is an amazing saw...feels good in the hands as well!! Hope you enjoy yours as much as we do sir!! Be safe out there!!
Owned both. 372 absolutely dominates the 7310. It’s more expensive too though.
@@tyhickman7297 agree 💯
Echo have 5 year parts and labour on the coil or parts after 5 years you pay labour.
Don’t know anything about else sorry😊
Thanks for the info!
Can't wait to get mine. Cs590 does damage, but I want the full wrap handle.
It is a great saw!
Double dogs and wrap handles get in the way if you try to flush cut a stump close to the ground where the base flares out.
Yup, good thing I have a dozen other saws!
I’ve had plenty of each of the big 3 and the cs 620p is a savage compared to the 562
That is what I have heard...time for me to try one soon!
Great saw needs exhaust opened up..like all saws..donnie walker did one with buckin..saw was serious
Yup, I like it!
Nice Chris! I picked up the 562XP this weekend. It cuts great! Opted for this instead of the 572XP mostly because of the lighter weight. If I need something bigger I have the 390XP and for smaller stuff I have the 51.
That is a nice mix of saws and sizes! Get to cuttin'!
Wouldn’t you drop sawdust on it to test it not shredded paper? You shouldn’t have to bash other brands it’s a quality saw there’s no doubt about it.
Not bashing just talking. EVERY saw manufacturer makes good stuff.
How dare you say my stihl leaks..... says the guy who stores his stihl on its side with the caps facing up lol!
All saws leak eventually! We just like to give Tony crap!
Finally you decided to get some great equipment all my echo chainsaws still run perfect. My CS 800p my CS 7310p cs620p. And the cs590. I have 32 inch bars all the way down to 20 inch bars. My CS 7310 p has been working perfect for 3 years now. My CS 800p 8 years old now, still runs at 32 inch bar perfect
Thanks for the tips! It runs and cuts great so far UI have used it 2 times, I like it a lot!
Have you tray det Husqvarna 560mark2!?😊
No not yet. I hope to!
Good morning from New Zealand :)
Morning!
Love it, I use brake cleaner to spray off cap areas before I remove to fill them 😊
Good to know!
My wife gave me 2 Chain lockers for my birthday last year. Get some. They will change your life...👍
nice!
Regarding the chain locker: Nice concept. But I would like to see a middle clasp added to the case. I have two and they both have the same problem.
I believe they can hold 8 to 9 chains. when maxed out the center will budge open so I use a rope to help secure the case.
They do seem durable and manage your chains but having the center section deform is a disappointment.
My question have you had the same findings?
Best of luck
Nice shop! Except they carry the wrong orange stuff🤣🤣👏🏻 I’m excited to see what you think of the Echo. I have an Echo weedeater and it’s been a good one! Take care Chris👍🏻👍🏻GNI
Two tanks through it so far and it is awesome. There are no wrong saws just wrong people. Ha!
A guy should get a good deal on a new snowblower after this non winter.
I think there will be some deals to be had soon.
They make the best leaf blower and top handle if you get the 2511t but we can’t say that about the bigger pro saws.
I have the 355t
Yup, all the ECHO equipment I have and have ran is great!
Not a bad price for a big saw like that 73.5 cc.
Yup, it cuts great too!
Good looking saw!! Looking forward to it being ran!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Yup....sooooooon!
My dad bought a Echo 660EVL back in the mid 80s (just before chain brakes), and it runs great. Its on its 1st rebuild and still runs like new. Dad opted to have it rebuilt late 90s as it like a good vehicle that you dont mind spending the money to fix/rebuild it.
Yup,l so far I like it a lot!
i think they take large mount husky d009
Thanks for the info!
Wow! she's a chainsaw gear head knows her stuff! Can't wait for a video on it cutting!
Yup, she does own the place!
$1,700 canadian $$$!! @@InTheWoodyard
Anytime I went there she was the one to ask and new what you needed.
The Echo 7310 should use the same bar mount pattern as the Husqvarna 572xp line of saws.
Nice, thanks for the info!
In my opinion, the best value out there for that class of saw!
I have about twenty tanks through mine and could not be happier with it.... And I'm running a 32 inch bar.
I have 2 tanks through it so far and it cuts great!
I have 2 echo chainsaws. My first one was the cs620 and then based upon your recommendation about 73cc saws; I moved up to the cs7310. Both saws run great and always start. My dealer, in NH had a once a year 15% off Echo products and that’s when I bought the cs7310. It was a mfg. sale and I would ask your local shop about that sale.
Great to hear! Awesome!
Good Morning Woodhounds!!
Hello!
About time you start running a real saw!!!!😂 They make a aftermarket part that fits over the bar studs so that you can run husqvarna or stihl bars on that saw.
Nice, she cuts great, 2 tanks so far ! I like it !
Echo was alwyas a maker of small engines. A few years ago they bought Shindaiwa, and that is where their bigger saws came from. I have run everything over the last 30 years. My 2 favorites were a Jonsered 910 and a Shidaiwa 675. I was having a lot of problems with the quality of Husqvarna and could get no satisfaction from them. I usually buy 2 says at a time. I bought an Echo 501P because it would use the same bars and chins that I ran on my Husky 450. I had 70 chains so wanted a saw that would use them. They were worth more than the saw. Mine cut like a scalded dog.
Nice! Yup so far it has cut really nice. You all will see it soon.
It's great to see you showing Echo on your channel . Echo makes great saws , great outdoor power equipment .
As an arborist, I started using Echo top handle saws 20+ years ago when Stihl started getting expensive and Husky made terrible 338xp climbing saws . I had great luck with Echo reliability . Since then I have added cs-590 and cs-620 saws , they have been bulletproof . Recently I purchased a cs-7310 and it has been great too .
The cs-7310 takes many tanks of gas to open up and show its full potential . Run the saw for a while before you judge . I think you will like the saw and it's price is nice.
I currently own multiple Stihl 661 , Husky 362, 372, 288, 395 , Dolmar 7900 , Echo . I love them all but Echo value is hard to beat .
I hope you like this saw as much as I do .
That is awesome to hear! It is refreshing to here from someone like you that has many saws and saws brands that can give good information to the people and maybe help some of the folks who are very narrow minded about "their brand" being better that all the others simply because THEY own it. So far (2 tanks) I like the saw a lot!
I love Evergreen Power! Great people and know their stuff. Echo’s are nicely built and last forever but slow other than the 620. I believe that the 7310 has the best filtration on the market. Hope you enjoy the saw Chris.
Yup, I want to try the 620 soon!
Yeah we had a 14 in trimmer that cut a lot of 20-in oak maple ash that had the quarter inch chain but it was a running saw also an old 20-in echo with an engine that look like it came out of model a also cut tons of wood. Not the high speed size of today but if you keep the sharp you could get her done. Stay well, stay safe, this is Kenny from Western North Carolina, sunny and 70°. Today I'm going to start my inside plants tomatoes. Maybe pushing it maybe get lucky.
Thanks for the info, she cuts great!

Some of my old videos are okay other ...sad, I have learned a lot in 3 1/2 years.
Nice shop. Great looking saw.
It sure is!
I love my Echo equipment. My string trimmer is from 94 starts in 3 pulls still. I have a grey body CS670 it is great.
Yup, my Echo stuff is great too!
Good morning Chris. Looking forward to seeing the echo run.i have a cs590,and 2 smaller ones I use for limbing.the 310,352.i love all of them affordable ,and cut great
Nice 👍 I really like it so far...2 tanks through it!
I'm pretty sure that echo 7310 has the d009 mount like your huskies have. Guess you'll have to try that bar on your husky to confirm that.
Thanks for the info!
I work just down the street from there!
Cool!
From an arborist and fellow firewood producer you’ll love the 7310, I’ve used mine for felling, in tree work, and cutting firewood and it’s an amazing saw
Yup, so far it has been awesome!
Hey Irene, how much was the saw?
I think around $1,000???
Reminds me of the dolmar/makita 7900 saw.
Similar specs.
Nice, it cuts great!
I'd rather have a Stihl MS440
Have you actually ran a few tank through a 7310???
I do inter-change bars with my Husqvarna 572. And this model of Echo for me is tuned rich.
Good to hear!
Hey Chris , I’ve had my 620p for a couple of years and love it . I can’t wait till tomorrow to see this 7310 run !!! 👍🏻🔥
I would like to try a 620 now!
I will have mine at the HFH and you are more than welcome to run it .
I’ve had one for couple years. My brother is a very experienced climber and I could get it out of his hands the first time he used it. Great saw.
Very cool! I agree, 2 tanks through it and she cuts great!
Putting a pretty new saw in your truck box?! Oh boy... give that thing the back seat treatment at least for it's first truck ride.
It is a work tool and tools are not people so they ride in the back.
Really like my echos, for major production, though, I might get a slightly larger name brand
I thought that too. But now that I have ran the 7310...it is awesome!
Just starting watching but a echo???????? 😲 WOW ? How come?
Why not? Being brand loyal you likely are not consistently getting best product or even best product for the money. I’m a Husqvarna guy, bought new dolkita 7900 last year, WOW!! Power, lightweight, German built quality, just about $900.00 w military discount. Basically an orange, half price, full quality 500I. Just got it back from full port/ hopped up from mastermind worksaws, MUCH Stronger, will easily mop up a 500I now, and still couple hundred dollars under. My understanding now is that echo closed the gap on Husqvarna price wise, so prob not such a good value anymore?
It is a greatr saw we where all very impressed with the first couple tanks.
Because it is a great saw, there are a lot of great saws out there but because Husqvarna and Stihl have such a huge variety of saws and control the pro market most people have no idea that there are a lot of other great products out there.
I have the 355t top handle, and we have used it on a lot of tree jobs. When I first bought it, it was for cutting limb wood and didn't want to spend as much for a husky. I dont regret it.
Yeah I don't mean offence I run huskies but a guy I work with has a echo I like it alright too yt delete my other comment when I seen y'all got it for videos when I first seen I thought y'all went just to get a echo and it felt odd me knowing y'all are mostly huskies, I do run and like my huskies but I've ran a lot, more or less want to aggravate Chris but if I struck a nerve I apologize, iff I come off offensive I'll dial my comments back I'm not some hard husky troll that don't have a mind of my own but I must have came off like one, appreciate the video
Nice looking saw. Nice place. I have an Exmark mower. Never had any trouble with it for 6 years.
That's awesome!
I interchange my bars all the time. Echo 7310 & husky 372
Awesome...great to hear!
Thank You, for showing this saw. I've always been curious about it.
You bet, soon you will see it cut!
It is OR-E-GUN not OR-E-GONE.
Yup. We say it different. Most people say Wisconsin wrong too, they stretch out the O and say it like AW, no biggie.
Great road trip! I need to do a wander around ECHO's website, their battery saw looks different than the one I have.
You should!
🤘
Nice !
i have a 590 and i love it we do 6 cords a year for heating and i cant complain and the 5 year warranty on it cant beat it for the price keep up the good videos maybe one day ill get a commercial brand echo like your new one!
Yup, so far it is a very nice saw, I like it a lot!
Good Morning
I'm looking forward to the upcoming videos.
Yup, in a few days!
Gotta say, Echos are easiest on the eyes by far!! I love my ported 5 series, but they look like a damn sneaker lol
It is a nice saw!
What!? No Tim the toolman taylor grunt entering!? Oh oh OH OH !
No, I never saw the show, I do not watch TV so I am not up on that stuff much.
For me all gas motors 2 and 4 cycle last longer remain easier to start with less motor issues by using only non-alcohol content fuel. It's worth the extra effort to get the gas w/o any alcohol. Ray Stormont PS This applies to gas autos/trucks/equipment as well.
Yup, no corn for my small engines!
Yup, I drink the corn, not my motors.
Japanese quality 👍🏻
yup.
I own and use all Echo products and find them extremely reliable
Yup, I have an Echo trimmer and it works great!
The 7310 has the same bar mount as the 572xp, d009
Nice! Thanks for the info!
Good morning guys echo has come a long way pretty good stuff .
You got that right!
The CS-7310 uses the Husqvarna D009 bar tail mount, which is really nice. I believe she is wrong about that.
We will have to look and see.
@@InTheWoodyard The CS-620P & CS-680 use Echo bars with D176 tail mounts. The CS-7310P uses bars with D009 tail mounts (all your Husky bars should fit perfectly). Husky bars are way more popular, & this was a smart move by Echo!
I'd be in trouble in that store lol. I said in a couple other video's, Ive run ECHO saws for years and only had one problem and it was me leaving regular 87 octane fuel sit in a saw for over a year and it plugged the carb up. You cant beat the price either...a Sthil 462 is around 1500-1600 bucks now and that 7310 would be a comparable saw and last I checked it was 800 or so.
Yup, it cuts great!
I didn’t expect that brand! Looking forward to getting your long term opinion.
It is a really nice saw, I have 2 tanks through it now and I like it a lot!
It even runs good on the high octane race fuel
Chris, some fun in the wood yard along the way 😮😊❤
Yup!
I ordered mine with a 32 inch bar. Came with a 24 instead. They said they couldn't find a 32. I found one on Amazon. I love my 7310. 24 incher is plenty and I don't mind the weight at all. Your gonna love it.
Yup, 2 tanks through it so far and she cuts great!
@InTheWoodyard That video you did with your buddy who has the 7310 he said it needs 5 to 7 tanks and then it wakes up abit. Do you know ifhe leaned it out at that point?
I paid $532 dollars for mine. The place I bought it at is where I bought my Kubota tractor a couple a years ago. When the salesman told me the price I questioned it briefly. Paid the man and walked out the door. If you have a way to receive pics like e mail or what not I'll send you a pic of the receipt. I had no extra balance or anything but they did screw me on my first and last oil change so I didn't feel bad. Other wise the price I was quoted was $1069.00@@InTheWoodyard
Hey! Fun stuff
Yup!
Also I *LOVE* going to the candy store! 😋
Yup, it is that!
Kind of surprised Echo went with the old style flippy kill switch on their pro saw, Evergreen Power looked well stocked even had a corner dedicated to arborist supplies which might have been of interest to Adam and Bert and likely where they shop, Silky hand saws. spurs, saddles, ascenders, ropes and bags, saw lanyards and more. 👍
I was too BUT now that I have used it a couple times, it is very nice and is easy to ues.
We get most of our arborist supplies from arbsession in greenbay.
@@BertsCustomCuts Duh! now that you said it I remember their banner on the barn.
Husky bar fits an echo. At least on the 620pw just chances are u need a weird amount of drive links, like 81 or 70 😂
But heck yeah good saws. 👍
Husky uses both versions of bars, depending on the model. 1 or the other will fit the Echos!👍
Thanks for the info!
Nice!
Good morning all!
Hello!
I love my 620
Hello Tom, long time no see, Good to have you back! Yup the 620 is on my to do list!
