so does the "required field*" in red for material limits matter at all? I'm a mature student doing an assignment on the 5.0 educational version of creo for college and when I set a material's properties I thought something was wrong so I got bogged down trying to fix it. After I assign the material, when I go to mass properties the same figure comes up in volume (mm^3) and mass (kg). That doesn't look right. I don't know if the required field is the issue. I was hoping you'd mention that in this video.

I don’t understand what you’re talking about. Do you mean material limits when you specify a failure criterion? If you specify a failure criterion, yes, you need to fill in stuff like Ultimate Tensile, Ultimate Compressive, etc.
If you’re interested in mass properties, density is the only value you need to fill in.

Oh wait, were you using a density of 1 kg/mm^3? If so, the values for mass and volume would be the same. Think about the definition of density: mass divided by volume. Rearranged, mass = density * volume. If density = 1, then the values for mass and volume would be the same. If you used a different value for density, then the values for mass and volume would not be the same. For example, try using the density of steel (8 gm/cc) and you will see that the values for mass and volume will be different.

i want to ask you that In lenovo(intel i3, 4GB RAM) laptop with HD graphics card is it possible to simulate the design in creo 7.0 crack version?

@@CADPLMGuy I am a student I can not effort to buy. My college has original version. Because of COVID19 I am at home, so I am using crack version for my practice

@@parthapratimbarman8145 There's no excuse for using a cracked version of software. It's still stealing and unethical.
