My favorite Rush composition. It came out when I was 2 years old, and I didn’t first hear it until I was 23, but I otherwise feel like Neil (May he Rest In Peace) was writing my life story.
Takes me back to September 1982 when I was 15 and hearing this for the first time. Having this without guitar means I can use it as a backing track for my practice 😊😊 thank you ❤
As you are playing I can hear Geddy Lee singing the lyrics in my head. Being Canadian Rush in one of my favorite bands. They inspired me to get the Taurus pedals a long time ago and I still have them! I can remember seeing them in Toronto. We had side stage seats. We could not see Geddy or Alex very well but we had a great view of Neil Peart playing the drums. We really enjoyed watching him play. Thank you for the memories and well done!
Love a bit of the OBX. Great sounding synth. Just sounds so fresh and different to other synths. Can see why bands like Japan, Thompson Twins, etc used it. Another great demo by a talented man. Thanks for this and the wonderful tunes you did for us each week. Nice moog too your playing there.
Oh yes. Ami-Synthpower-Sound Made in Canada 😎. Geniale Band und für mich einer der besten Songs von Rush. Dazu ein erstklassiges Cover von Marko „Geddy“ Ettlich. 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Diesmal wirklich seeehr nah am Original. Top!
Danke.
Very nice my friend, but 1 question, where those drums come from haha, great job. I was going to do this cover too, but I have to use the VST OB-X version haha. You have the actual physical keyboard :)
@@retrosound72 Thanks for the comment! I'm one of the few % that don't watch TH-cam on a phone. I was listening to your tune on my home stereo system. I do hear a bassline, but may be more subtle than the original Rush recording. You are a very talented person BTW.

Thank you for your feedback 🎹✌️
Lovely! As the Rush kids love to say, "Now try playing all the parts at once while singing and strapped to a bass guitar!"
Thank you 🙌
Rush "Subdivisions", get in. You made my day.
Thank you for your feedback 🎹🙌
Listening on quality headphones, this was unparalleled analog goodness, sweetness, and fatness in every way…outstanding performance too!
Thank you so much 🙌🎹

The drums. Linndrum and Simmons.
SENSACIONAL GRANDE ABRAÇO MEU AMIGO BRASIL RJ
Thank you so much 🎹🙌
One of the best rock synth anthems. Did you program the drums? great job, that was harder than the synth parts I assume
Thank you for your feedback.
The drums are samples and programmed with my emax sampler
Wow, I really like it as an instrumental, without Geddy screeching ;-) Jk Good job!
Thank you 🎹🙌
Which chorus pedal did you use for the brass? It's very lush and swimmy.
I use the EHX Memory Man Deluxe here.
Sounds good, but there seems to be a bassline missing?
No bassline is missing. The smartphone loudspeaker is not playing it.😉
