A great recreation again! Like a lot of 80s kids, I did my share of clubbing in the 90s so sounds like these (and the Korg M1 piano and organ) are also very nostalgic.
Forgive me if it reminds me of "More And More" by Captain Hollywood Project... as there was a bit much similarity to that style of music in the day. Very few truly distinct works stand-out in my memory these days.
I remember reading in music magazines at the time that the guy in Snap had a Waldorf - The Wave in this song, not sure if true, but It made me appriecate the song even more :D nice cover you did. Still a classic song.
Funny seeing a DX11, it came out at the time of the DX7 mark 2. Was underrated but you could do a lot with it and it was stereo too. Same in the original DX7 came the DX9 that didn’t do so well but you could store data on a tape like old computers back then. Like the Roland that was a nice synth too. Anyway great demo of a classic track from back in the day when I was young. Didn’t even know you had a DX11, do you own a DX100 ? I remember that thing from back in the day. As always thanks for sharing with us. Fantastic channel and top musician.
Thank you for your comment Michael. As always, it is much appreciated. I have the DX11 for three years now. I always thought I didn't need it because I have the DX7 II with E! Board here. But the little DX has its advantages. It's quicker to programm and it has a quick edit function. This is very helpful for adjusting sounds quickly. I don't own a DX100.
This is one of those songs I’ve been hearing since they were new and I was little, only I didn’t know what they were called or who recorded them. This seems a world away from “I Got the Power”, the only other song by SNAP that I can identify.
The early 90s . The music style changed complete in these years in the charts in Europe. Eurodance. I am a child of the 80s but I love a few 90s tracks.
Great recreation👏🏻. I think that the Percussion was doned by a *Roland R8* (1989) with "tr-909 cartridge sounds" or a *Boss Dr 550* "Dr. Rhythm" (..Is a dancer" 😅).
Yeah...you have to listen to your songs...so cool again, I'm freaking out💃💃💃👌🎧✨🤍💫🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊 and above all instrumental…gigantic✌️ I know it's a cover, it was my time😎✨🤍💫✨🤍💫👉👉👉👉👉 …and ordered another T-shirt😎😅✌️
Hello King Retro Thanks to you, your inspiring music, and Seattle musicians, I managed to sell my late husband’s Synth collection ( Dx7IiE!, polysix, CS15, CS 30 , Worf Q -, Moof Taurus etc.). I listen to your music every day. gracias!
@retrosound72 anytime I love your stuff man! Hey you ever heard of the rare Roland PJ-890 quarter inch patch bay from the 70s? I did a video on it. It's super rare check it out if u ever get a minute. Much love!
I don't know about anyone else, but this always sounded like an 80's song to me, so I always wondered if it was written in the late 80's before it got famous, anyway, thanks for keep this stuff alive, always nice to listen to a nightclub banger :) mind you I was in my late 20's when this came out hahahahahahaha I'm a first born Gen Xer ;) 65 edition :)
Excellent 👏....although I’m embarrassed to admit it just never occurred to me it was mainly DX fm😮 I really thought the bass was a Juno or similar 😊. Was the JD a preset? Or a custom sounds? Great work!
Ok this is your music instrument. But thought which kind of sounds (presets) did you use? For bass, main melody,... Is it possible to ask you for full recreatation of the song and share it on your TH-cam Channel?

Excellent. The DX11 has the "Solid Bass/Lately Bass" preset also included in lot of DX series (The DX27S of mine has it).
Thank you Jose 🎹👍

Yes great memories. ✨
Timeless sounds ✌️🎹
That DX really cuts through. This piece has a particularly well structured arrangement for which voice lives in which pitch range / space. Great job!
Thank you 🙌

No problem. The style is similar. But Snap ist Harder in sound. Thank you

At 3:43 there is no piano part from the JD-800.
But the arrangement was played wonderfully, almost identically! Super! 😉👍
No piano. More bass. :D
Thank you!

Einfach Kult! Mega Cover😎
Ja, die guten alten Zeiten. ✨ Vielen lieben Dank fürs Reinhören und deine Worte. 👍

Great Marko !
Thank you my friend 🎹🙌🎹
Wunderbar!
Perfect
Thank you
Sehr geil!
Vielen lieben Dank!
Just wow!
Thank you 🙌

The beginning of the eurodance music period. More harder as the later 90s.
The bass line is more massive with something like an octave lower along with the one you did. But it was very good.
My intention is not make 1:1 cover. In the description you can find my answer. The original is a Waldorf Microwave with 2 WGs
Excellent recreation! What delay did you use for the snare?
Thank you so much. I used my Lexicon MPX
yes 🙌🎹
Thank you 🎹🙌🎹
😎
:))
Rhythm....rhythm is a dancer...
🚀💫
Nice lately bass from DX 11 but what's the preset of arpeggio sound? And thirty note synth sound?
Thks
The other sounds are self programmed.
FM bass is the Best Bass In Ze WooooorrrrRRRlllllllllddddDDDDdzzzzZZZZzzz !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Das scheppert 🎹🚀🔥✨😁
The synthriff that doesn't start at 1 has always confused my brain. That say's a lot for such a simple tune.
Yes true. It's the magic 😅
Excellent 👏....although I’m embarrassed to admit it just never occurred to me it was mainly DX fm😮 I really thought the bass was a Juno or similar 😊. Was the JD a preset? Or a custom sounds? Great work!
Thank you.
In Original was the bass a Waldorf Microwave. JD custom sounds 🎹👍
Lately Bass > Solid Bass
🎹🔥
Enigma , Sadness, same sort of lyrics.
In the constructive chord sense.
yes similar.
Thank you
buff very fat tasty sounds how many DSP board use?
Thank you!
Which sound did you use?
I used the TX81Z Sound Lately Bass
Ok this is your music instrument. But thought which kind of sounds (presets) did you use? For bass, main melody,...
Is it possible to ask you for full recreatation of the song and share it on your TH-cam Channel?
They don't use a quasimidi raven or just for the videoclip?
You mean Scooter or? Scooter used the Raven live and in video.
@@retrosound72 they appear in the video is rhythm is a dancer with a quadimidi raven a blue synth
No singing? Aw, c'mon! Just kidding, an excellent cover.
Thanks a lot.
You can sing ;)
❤🕺👍♥️
