That bamboo sticky rice!!! I NEED MORE!
We call it kra-lan
The bamboo sticky rice was a traditional snack for field workers and farmers to take with them. The bamboo offers an easy way to carry along and can easily be discarded when done. The sticky rice offers complex carbohydrates and black beans for protein for energy to work long days in the fields. Today, it’s still a popular snack in some of the rural areas away from the main cities.

Cambodian food is the best food I ever ate. I used to like Thai food, but after trying Cambodian cuisine, I realized it was on a different level. It’s a shame that Cambodian food is not as well-known as Thai food in the world. Cambodia is so underrated.
