Brother Halverson, in addition to being expertly taught the Doctrine and Covents, I enjoy looking for the small changes in the bookshelves behind you. The ukuleles disappeared quite sometime ago. I hope your children enjoy playing them. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much for all you do for us.
Thank-you for helping me understand so much. I've been a member of this church all my life and haven't understood so many things. You brought it to life for me. I cherish every lesson you bring to me. THANK-YOU!
Bro. Halverson, I want to express my gratitude for all you have taught me this year. Not only have I learned to love the D&C, but I love how you also weave all the other scriptures in, modern day events and issues, a description of what the saints were going through at the time of the revelation, language and meanings of words, and how we have to have contrast and balance in all things, along with your insight of other religions from your study of theology. I look forward to every minute listening to you. I'm greatful for you and thankful your family shares you with us. You will not know on this side of the Veil how much your lessons and righteous influence have had on so many people. Please know you are making a huge difference in so many lives. I pray you are able to continue. I pray for you and your family. May you be blessed abundantly. ❤😇🙏
Oh Jared Thanku for sharing your deep joy and love in these deep truths. The comfort and great joy I feel when you share your experiences of the spirit brings me to tears of gratitude ♥️🇦🇺
Wow, today you lifted my understanding of humanity and divinity. My husband left the church a long time ago. I could never understand how he could not see the truthfulness of the gospel. Today you helped me understand how he thought the gospel was all divinity and when he only saw the humanity he crumbled. I guess he could not see the balance on how God works with all of us in our humanity. Thank you
02:00 I appreciated your insight how we cannot be made perfect without our dead. Our ancestors can bless us as they receive priesthood power through their temple ordinances. What a wonderful truth! Thank you.
I try to listen to your lessons more than once because I absorb more when I listen again. It is not easy to choose which nuggets are the most valuable to me. I do greatly appreciate your explanation about who can be present for temple sealings - when miracles are performed, only those who believe in the miracle can be present. This is a new level of understanding of what we are doing in the temple. What is bound on earth shall be bound in heaven. This is not new, but we don’t always quite appreciate all of the significance. We are writing the books of heaven.
I live un México, me gustan mucho sus clases, apenas conocí su canal, muchas gracias por compartir su conocimiento hno., bendiciones para ud. Y su familia.
Hope you know that we pray for you and your family, Brother Halverson. You’re someone Satan will undoubtedly attack with whatever he has, and we want you to know that we are praying for angels to be on your side. Thank you for your huge impact!
About 1:30 Faith required to break bounds on death. Love this story! Also, please telll your precious daughter this story. When my daughter Jessica was in 4th grade, her best friend was being bullied by the most "popular" girl in school. Knowing this girl was Christian by the cross she wore around her neck, Jessica asked/told her, "You must not believe in God!" Taken back she responded, "Why?" Then Jessica gave the best response ever!!!!! "Because if you did...you wouldn't act this way!" What a blessing to have a vallient spirit in your home!
Going back to the slothful servant, we are all blessed you are an active agent. How wonderful that you weren’t “officially” called to help the world find joy in studying the scriptures, (although my whole family believes you were set apart by heaven to do this) but you just saw a need and used your talents to do it. There is a special spirit and power with your podcasts.
36:00 "Exploratory Interviews" are the best! The last two wards I've been in, we've had callings extended to us this very way. Which has been much appreciated because of our circumstances. I've always accepted callings no matter what, at the expense of other priorities, but I've been able to find much better balance with the help of inspired leaders who do this type of calling extending. The Gospel is true!
Brother Jared….as I have been taught by you for the past 18 months, I have come to truly realize how blessed we are to have a teacher whom has been enlightened with your unique perspective on Truth. This has helped me to not only come to understand what I had not considered, but to feel this comprehension in my heart, through the Spirit of truth. I know your snorkel is stretched now….but, my prayers are with you always….Keep up the good work Brother😇❤️. David

Thank you for expressing what some many of us feel. The Holy Ghost teaches me through the lessons you so carefully and deliberately prepare. Thank you for your life long work in the scriptures. Paige
Dear Brother Jared, we are so grateful to you for your wonderful lessons We are Dutch, became members through a knock on the door in Zoetermeer ( the Dutch Sweet lake City) more then 40 years ago. We thought we had studied the gospel thoroughly but you give us such beautiful new incites . We look forward to your lessons each week. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Unfortunately our serving in the Temple Presidency in the Dutch temple was cut short through COVID but we have been spiritually uplifted by your lessons. We love you. Maria and Nico van Wermeskerken. The Netherlands
I know you do not take credit for it, but the analogy of Jairus’s daughter to temple sealings was positively brilliant. “Praise Him from whom all blessings flow!”
As I listened today I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the shutdown last year that led to amazing teachers like you, (and Brother Hank and Brother John, Sister Emily and Brother David) turning to the internet to teach! What a blessing it has been for me to be fed by all of you scholars; even though my own adult Institute classes were canceled. Bless you.
Good morning bro Jared I am also so thankful for the lockdown it's because our classes was also closed and one off my sisters in the church told me about unshaken my life was changed because I learned so much the most that I ever learned for the 30 yrs that I am Kember off the church Thànk you so much Bro Jared May God bless you and your familly for blessing my life
My BYU Adult Religion class was canceled, too. It left a huge whole in my gospel learning until, that is, a friend recommended Unshaken. I am very thankful.
I have been watching you EVERY day since my fiancé and father passed away. It has carried me through this time. When I get my daily dose of unshaken and the Spirit I have a better day. Thank you!
I'm so sorry for all you've been through. My offering can't make up for the relationships you've temporarily lost, but I'm grateful that your openness to the Spirit has allowed the Comforter to live up to His title. Bless you, my friend!
As was pointed out on another podcast about the living needing the dead and the dead needing the living, the dead needing us is obvious. But an interesting thought about why we need them comes from temple work. If it weren't for the dead, we would attend the temple once for our own ordinances and never need to go back. Can you imagine remembering everything for your entire life from a single visit?
I'm so grateful to study alongside Bro. Halverson and all the Unshaken Saints - especially during these smaller, seemingly "housekeeping" sections (125 & 126) that I've always viewed as almost the footnotes of the Church's history. A big thank you to Bro. Halverson for pulling out these beautiful & applicable Divine nuggets and sharing them with us.
I could not agree more. How I wish it would have been explained that way to my mother and grandparents 30+ years ago when I married in the temple. Instead, there was hurt and resentment towards the church.
@@lisaw.1601 YES!!! Never again do we need to tell people they are not worthy to enter the temple! This was the best! I came on here just to make sure that this had been noted. I listen to the podcast.
YES!!! Never again do we need to tell people they are not worthy to enter the temple! This was the best! I came on here just to make sure that this had been noted. I listen to the podcast.
I thank you. Now I understand how it is they offer us to chance to be perfect through unseen hands. Imagining their hearts turning to me and my son. I am a single parent and I have felt comforted by this realization. It seems like iv always k own this but I had forgotten
You are well rounded. You know how to treat people with absolute loving kindness. Thank you for all the lessons and expanding knowledge of the scriptures and the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Can’t thank you enough. May God Bless you and your family in all things!❤️
Brother Halverson, you confirm to me how AMAZING the gospel is and how much Heavenly fathers loves all His children!!! Truly, I feel He is in the details of what is going on in our hearts and mind. Thank you for your efforts in bringing me closer to Heavenly father and emulate our savior Jesus Christ. Listening to your lessons helps me to diligently seek for guidance, comfort and direction through our savior. ❤
Holy Coco Puffs Jared! I loved your comment on Family History is like Serving a full time Mission, both bring souls to Christ and the efforts are the same,(D&C 127 vs.4) I can testify Jared Halverson mom is Awesome! I've worked with her in the LA Temple.
I add my voice to all the comments below. I am so grateful to study with you each week and have been so richly blessed by your knowledge of the scriptures and your spiritual gift of being a beloved teacher. Thank you and your sweet family for blessing us all❤️
128 is my favorite scriptures from the D&C! So beautiful! I always read them when im back packing imagining the earth rejoicing!! Thank you for enhancing these beautiful scriptures! I love his language here!!❤❤🙏
Brother Jared, I love having your videos and welcome them whenever they come. Happy about the way you can use your hands , family, students, and many more things you have in your memory. I'm very happy to watch the video over more than once to get everything out of the lesson I can. Have a good month🧡📖🙏
Brother Jared, I thank you so very much for sacrificing your precious time to minister, teach, and lift thousands of us. I learn so much from you each week. My To Do from this week is to remember to daily write the miracles, inspiration, and tender mercies of each day and the Divine help I received that day, along with the good things I tried to do,so it will be
So wonderful…again- thank you! I loved the explanation you gave about why people not of our faith can’t attend temple sealings of their family members that starts at 1:36:10. It’s the best explanation I’ve ever heard- thank you!
This is so good I had to listen twice. I even had a discussion with a "Non Religious Man" on the 10 year anniversary of his fathers passing about how our familes that have passedthrough the veil still care and wathc over us.
1:35:18 Explaining temple sealing ordinances and why only people of faith should be there. Comparing to the daughter of Jarius being raised from the dead Starts with 1:29:07 thru 1:42:44
I need to add exclamation points to my testimony. I could hear your excitement while reading these scripture verses. Things that I had forgotten are bold statements. Thank you.
“Ample Provision” for all of God’s children to return and live with Him. What a beautiful phrase which really opened my eyes more fully to the love our Father in Heaven, and the Savior have for us. The ample provision is the sealing power given to us in this dispensation (as in each before), and is magnified by number of temples being built so that all the Saints can participate in this great work. Been loving your lessons since I stumbled upon them last year. Thank you for you preparation, your perspiration, and your presentations!
2:12 really appreciated your explanation of humanity and divinity in history of the church and scripture. Makes perfect sense but difficult to explain to those who hold strictly to the words. BTW thanks for your understanding. I read my scriptures differently because I ask more questions about words, phrases and statements. Wow! I get so much more out of the Book of Mormon and I am beginning to understand how God works! Thanks for your insights.
00:23:35: “If we can prioritize unity, then we can welcome diversity.” That should be a bumper sticker! 00:38:01 Loved the idea of exploratory interviews. 00:54:32 loved the part about how often envy is behind mistreatment and that Joseph Smith’s optimism partly was due to his sire knowledge that God is on our side and He will win. 01:34:33 We can say to Hell itself-that doesn’t want to release its captives-“You have to. This person has repented and has been redeemed.” Around 01:39:00: That was a powerful story when you brought in the example of Jairus’ daughter. I’d never heard that pointed out before (that Jesus didn’t invite them into the room before performing the miracle).
And the part about informational interviews. I with that all bishoprics would hear that message. I served in the nursery in every ward that I was in from my first married student ward until my children were grown, or was asked to. I felt that I was drowning. I remember being in the nursery with my less than two week old daughter and all of the nursery children, in a crowded nursery room that was literally a closet, with no other adults. All of the children were crying, I had no way to get help, and I just sat down and cried along with them. Then the primary president walked in to get something out of the closet, gave me a look of disapproval, and left without saying anything. In my next ward, they extended the calling to serve in the nursery and I couldn’t say no, but I couldn’t say yes, so I just started crying. They decided to give me a week to think about it. The next week, the bishopric member asked me passing in the hallway if I had thought about that calling and all I could do was cry. They decided to withdraw the calling. In the next two wards they asked my husband before asking me if I could serve in the nursery. He told them that I couldn’t. My next ward, I was divorced. They called me to the nursery. I explained my concerns about that, they explained that they didn’t do nursery like it had been done in my previous wards. I gave it a try and had a good experience there and made some forever friends.
Thank you brother Jared once again, your spirit indeed touched my heart, your scriptural knowledge blended beautifully to explain doctrine,so helped my understanding may the Lord blessvand protect you always Sister Gill Sharp
Prophet Joseph Smith’s amazing attitude towards adversity make me shame of myself even I’m going trial at this time, I need to do better, grateful for all my blessings, looking for more appreciated what I have, be positive, be happy and joy, knowing God always be with me. Thank you very much😍👏
This was such a marvelous lesson that I could add markers through out the entire lesson. I love how you spoke with the grandmother who could not attend her granddaughters temple wedding. We all need the spirit with us so that we never offend anyone, rather draw them in, in friendship as we all are sons and daughters of our beloved Heavenly Father. Thank you for providing such a spiritual feast for us all. ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks again for a thought provoking lesson! I wish more bishop’s and their councillors would practice these steps. God bless you and your family, you are so appreciated
I love your inclusion of the discussion of adding the information regarding “Practicability” I was unbalanced for years in my endeavors to serve well. Often I sacrificed sleep , or Time with my son to my demand in my profession. Bless you for this important teaching.💝👍💡
I have just found your you tube discussions and can't believe I have missed them. I have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you for your knowledge, understanding and insights
Dear Brother Jared, The story of the angry grandmother who couldn’t enter the temple to see her granddaughter married at 1:35:52 in the lesson hit me really strongly! What a BEAUTIFUL way to explain WHY she was unable to witness the wedding! It doesn’t have to do with worthiness, but their belief and faith in what’s taking place! The example of when Jesus raised the daughter of his dear friend also helped me understand the NEED for only BELIEF AND FAITH where a miracle is to be performed, helped me so much! I pray that I can retain this in my memory, as I don’t seem to remember things well lately. I’ve been so edified this last year listening carefully to your lessons. Thank you for stretching your snorkel!! 🙏🏼 I’m sure you will be blessed, but you are often in my prayers!! ❤️🕊💪🏻🙏🏼
I love that exploratory interview concept. I've accepted all my callings but one: seminary teacher. There were family and health situations I had at the time that wouldn't allow me to teach, and even though I had to bring it up, I appreciate the exploratory concept, for some may need to be prompted to speak.
Oh no - no lesson posted so far for this week! Are you ill, Brother Halvorsen? Praying for you and your family. I don't let anything interfere with studying with you, it is a precious experience, and I have been so blessed. Hope you are all well.
2:15:00- the scriptures are a CATALOGUE of previous revelation, a CATALYST for present/future revelation. I love this and I love brother Halverson gift for alliteration, and precise description.
The eternal family principle to become perfected as One…you have explained so beautifully clear😇. This has purified my view of the temple ordinances that I am blessed to perform for my brothers and sisters….Thank you once again…my good Brother❤️
Bro. Halvorsen, do you practice your lessons in advance or are you naturally an eloquent speaker? Your lessons are inspiring thousands of people. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I don't think he has time to practice. That's the great part of teaching by the Spirit, he just rolls with it, then edits out his less valuable, to preserve length. I think teaching classes for a living has truly magnified his abilities. As always, wonderful lesson!
I've seen videos of doctrinal presentations. He's much more straight-laced while doing those than these lessons. The internet, like his classroom, seems to be his natural habitat. Like visiting general authorities in stake conference, they are much more at ease in sessions of stake conference, than in general conference addresses.
He's an experienced teacher. It shows. I've been teaching at the college level 20 years; after a fashion, with a lot of work and practice, it becomes second nature.
Thank you for this!! I'm a rather new member, and my Husband and I are preparing to go to the Temple this weekend. He's been before, but this will be my first time. I found your channel when the Lord lead me to the book of Helman over the past few days, and your 4-part study. This one seems perfectly appropriate for this time in my life, and to see it's a new video, too! Thank you so much for your diligent work in putting these together to help others understand the Scriptures!
Sometimes I feel like this colorblind person who receives a pair of fancy glasses that make you see all colors. You help me see spiritual colors! Thank you, your Swiss friend
Also I like what you said around 1:49:58 where you discuss that God consideres exactly what knowledge we are willing and able to accept, giving us line upon line, that God considers how much milk, how much meat, how much line now and how much line later they are ready for.
In a dream the Lord showed me the DC temple, I saw the spirits waiting for their turn to be baptized for. I truly appreciate the knowledge of the baptisms for the dead. I had a friend 2 weeks ago text me, attaacking my faith specifically baptisms for the dead. I literally had just left the Temple and we did baptisms. The well intented may not know what's good at all.
At 1:23:30 you talk about the fact that we need to be ordered because God is a God of order and every particular thing was ordered in the preexistence, that is "was not what shall I do, but who shall I send?" I really like that thought. That no circunstance of mortality can keep us from returning to God and enjoying all his blessings and that every part of returning to God was perfectly planned and instituted before we came to earth. As usual thank you Jared my brother! I love your lessons and I love you and pray for God to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings on you and your family for generations so much that there is not room enough to hold them.
All your lessons are just fabulous I've learned so much, I feel guilty in not realizing many of the things you have taught, Thank You for being such a great teacher
There’s no reason to feel guilty! You’re learning like the rest of us, line upon line and precept on precept. It’s just part of the journey. Don’t feel guilty because you didn’t know it before, feel grateful that you’re learning it now! Keep up the good work!👍😊🙏🏻💜
Greatly appreciate EVERY lesson. One question; why do I have such difficulty finding the current lesson? Why aren’t they listed sequentially on youtube? I waste a lot of time each just trying to find my place. :)
@@susanwyman9853 have you subscribed to the channel and clicked the bell to receive notifications? If you do that you shouldn’t have to be looking for it because you would be notified whenever Bro. Halverson sends out a video. Clicking the like button is also nice but it won’t give you notifications. I hope this helps you!
My 3rd great grandfather, Truman Leonard, helped build the original Nauvoo Temple. He did the steeple work and helped with placing the Angel Moroni on it. While working on the temple Truman fell 70 feet, broke his leg and smashed his foot. After binding up his leg, he received a priesthood blessing Brigham Young and he was back on the job in two days. Because of his work on the temple, Truman earned a promise from Brigham Young to be the first marriage performed when it was opened for ordinances. Brigham Young's marriage was the second. Truman married Ortentia White on Jan. 1, 1846. The marriage was performed by Heber C. Kimball. (He is just ONE of the many great men in my family history.) I also have his temple record book with dates in the 1840s; he is my exemplar of record keeping!
i always follow your new video, just like going into the institute, your teaching in wonderful, i enjoyed it right here , we love you here in the Philippines. keep it up God Bless
Spiritual teachings that make me excited about doing temple work. Love the grandma story. The spirit hit me during your telling of this. Just a beautiful way of describing what we do in the temple. It will help me during my next visit there. Well done Brother Halverson. Hope you and your family are doing well. Look forward to the notification of your teachings each week 😌
1:36:15 A gentle response to those offended by not being allowed to attend a family member's sealing. Also, leave your doubts at the door and bring your faith to see the miracle.
I must have done something during Pre Earth life and had a wonderful not perfect but God fearing MOTHER to whom I will be Eternally grateful 🙏❤ may GOD BLESS her should have shown her while she was alive sorry Mom love ❤you miss you
Thank you for including your discussion at the end of Section 126 about exploratory interviews. I had an experience with a calling. I wonder if the interviewer had taken this approach, would the result have been much more positive in the end. Instead, I've carried guilt and confusion ever since. Your commentary which was a bit off topic but not terribly so. I felt that was meant for me.
Your insights, examples, additional quotes and personal experiences are so enriching that I feel like I am studying the doctrine and covenants for the first time! Bless your valiant ❤️!
I listen to you and watch on my cell. My heart leaps when I hear truths that I have heard or read before but not sure if I really got it till now. I want to share a blessing that I got today. My grandson called me to let me know that his Boss invited him to church today and it was in the ward I went to 6yrs. ago before I moved. He went and listen to his friend give a talk. I pray this is a beginning of good things to come.
“The whole world hath been set ablaze by the Word of thy Lord, the All-Glorious, a Word softer than the morning breeze. It hath been manifested in the form of the human temple, and through it God hath quickened the souls of the sincere among His servants. In its inner essence, this Word is the living water by which God hath purified the hearts of such as have turned unto Him and forgotten every other mention, and through which He draweth them nigh unto the seat of His mighty Name. We have sprinkled it upon the people of the graves, and lo, they have risen up, with their gaze fixed upon the shining and resplendent Beauty of their Lord..” [Baha’u’llah (The glory of God, the promised one)- The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, v. 2.1]
“If a man's thought is constantly aspiring towards heavenly subjects then does he become saintly; if on the other hand his thought does not soar, but is directed downwards to centre itself upon the things of this world, he grows more and more material until he arrives at a state little better than that of a mere animal”. (Abdu'l-Baha,Paris Talks,p. 17) “O ye that dwell on earth! The distinguishing feature that marketh the preeminent character of this Supreme Revelation consisteth in that We have, on the one hand, blotted out from the pages of God’s holy Book whatsoever hath been the cause of strife, of malice and mischief amongst the children of men, and have, on the other, laid down the essential prerequisites of concord, of understanding, of complete and enduring unity. Well is it with them that keep My statutes.” [Baha’u’llah (The promised one of all ages), Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 97]
Beautiful as always. Thank you so much for your time, your insights, your testimony. Your lessons fill my week with goodness. FYI Vinson Knight had no relation to the Joseph Knight family, but he too was expelled from Missouri. Thank you for all you do!
Beginning at 1:34:48 you are explaining the "bold doctrine" of Temple work, the binding on earth that which shall be bound in heaven by the restored Priesthood power and authority given to man from God in these latter days. I really love the way the Holy Ghost helped you explain the truth that faith must be present in the Temple and during the Temple Sealings performed there to that sweet Bible-Belt grandmother that was upset because she found out she, as a non-member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was unable to attend. What a great way to explain to people why membership and a Temple Recommend is necessary to enter the house of God! Using the account of Jesus raising the 12-year-old daughter of Jarius from the dead to teach the necessity of faith, not just for some but everyone present, for these types of miracles/ordinances is clearly inspired. Not coincidentally, Jesus himself used that miracle to teach the necessity of faith to all present when he said, "Don't be afraid, just believe" and then Jesus only took Peter, James, and John with him into the girl's room to perform that miracle.
Sealing power ⚡.. and the story of raising of the daughter of Jairus. 01:33:48 - 01:42:15. ".. to come into the room where the impossible needs to be possible, only faith can be present." - Jared Halverson
24:30 BH Roberts "In essential things, unity. In non essential things, diversity. And in all things, charity" 1:35:00 Sealing power and answer to the Grandmother about temple sealing, only faith can be present for the miracle of sealing to happen
In vs 43 the actual temple lot was shown last cuz the Lord wanted to spend just as much time as he could with his servant. I feel the same with your lessons. Yes they are long but I get to spend a lot of time with you. That bro Halverson. Please do all of the old testament. And explain why in our lesson plan we don't cover it all.
Thank u so much. Thank you so much. I prayed for just a little more peace and was able to received it in plenty.
Such a heart felt chapter section 128 !
I do trust in Jesus Christ so much as always and forever. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
David
Couldn't agree more brother David very well said, Gill

Then Jessica gave the best response ever!!!!! "Because if you did...you wouldn't act this way!" What a blessing to have a vallient spirit in your home!
Thank you for expressing what some many of us feel. The Holy Ghost teaches me through the lessons you so carefully and deliberately prepare. Thank you for your life long work in the scriptures.
Paige
I think one day we’ll see brother Halverson as an apostle, giving talks in conference!
Thank You so Much for These Lessons.I sure Appreciate Them So Much and Your Expiation’s of The Scripture.
You have helped me fall in love with the Doctrine and Covenants even more deeply. Thank you.
I have been watching you EVERY day since my fiancé and father passed away. It has carried me through this time. When I get my daily dose of unshaken and the Spirit I have a better day. Thank you!
Amen sister….keep up the good work😇❤️
I'm so sorry for all you've been through. My offering can't make up for the relationships you've temporarily lost, but I'm grateful that your openness to the Spirit has allowed the Comforter to live up to His title. Bless you, my friend!
I am so sorry for your loss.
Wishing you peace of the Savior at this time, (which it sounds like you are feeling through Br.Jared’s lessons.)God bless you and keep you.
Unity, diversity, community, individuality points are brilliant (approx 23 minutes in) being all in but thinking outside the box
Starting at 1:36 the story about the sweet grandma is the best explanation I have heard about temple weddings and attendance. Thank you!
I love this also, but you have to include the seconds or else it takes you to 1 min 36 sec
1:36:10
Thank you, hermano!
Diversity within unity, where uniqueness is subservient to unity, God's will. One of the greatest challenges of mankind of all time.
You are well rounded. You know how to treat people with absolute loving kindness. Thank you for all the lessons and expanding knowledge of the scriptures and the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Can’t thank you enough. May God Bless you and your family in all things!❤️
Amen😇
I couldn't have said it better!
You are easy to listen to and have so much insight on so many subjects. Thank you for all you do. May our Father richly bless you and your family.
Thank you and your sweet family for blessing us all❤️
Thank you Brother Jared! You are very much appreciated!
Thank you, thank you.
Comparing to the daughter of Jarius being raised from the dead
Starts with 1:29:07 thru 1:42:44
Thank you for all you have taught me this day…
I need to add exclamation points to my testimony. I could hear your excitement while reading these scripture verses. Things that I had forgotten are bold statements. Thank you.
I love the exploratory interview idea! I wish I saw that more! Thanks for all you do! - Alicia B.
I have never given up on the search. I have been very successful finding most of my ancestors.
Thank you for your fire of Faith! It stirs my soul and sweeps me along.
Thank you once again for uplifting me spiritually. All I can add is Amen!
This person has repented and has been redeemed.”
Around 01:39:00: That was a powerful story when you brought in the example of Jairus’ daughter. I’d never heard that pointed out before (that Jesus didn’t invite them into the room before performing the miracle).
Thank you 💕 you must get up at 2am!!
Beautiful thoughts on unity and diversity! Thank you!
Thank you for all your effort! You have taught me to love the scriptures.
Thank you brother Jared once again, your spirit indeed touched my heart, your scriptural knowledge blended beautifully to explain doctrine,so helped my understanding may the Lord blessvand protect you always
Sister Gill Sharp
Amen sister….all to be One in the Lord😇❤️
Thanks again for a thought provoking lesson! I wish more bishop’s and their councillors would practice these steps. God bless you and your family, you are so appreciated
Thanks Brother Jared.
I love your inclusion of the discussion of adding the information regarding “Practicability” I was unbalanced for years in my endeavors to serve well. Often I sacrificed sleep , or Time with my son to my demand in my profession. Bless you for this important teaching.💝👍💡
Brother Halverson, where are you? I am praying that you are well. I enjoy your lessons so much! Thank you from the deepest part of my heart.
I have just found your you tube discussions and can't believe I have missed them. I have a lot of catching up to do. Thank you for your knowledge, understanding and insights
Welcome aboard! I'm honored to join you for scripture study!
AMEN!!!!!
The eternal family principle to become perfected as One…you have explained so beautifully clear😇. This has purified my view of the temple ordinances that I am blessed to perform for my brothers and sisters….Thank you once again…my good Brother❤️
Ok iiipl
You have taught me so much. I appreciate your lessons and the spirit you bring with them.
Thank you for this wonderful presentation !!!!
I learned several things from it.
Thank you.i learned a lot of things from you as Sunday school teacher in youth.
I'm so happy for your timely videos ☺️ and I always thank you 🙂🙂🙂
Thank you brother Jared for your kindness and the excellent approach to the meaning of each passage; it opens my heart and mind.
Thank you.
At 1:23:30 you talk about the fact that we need to be ordered because God is a God of order and every particular thing was ordered in the preexistence, that is "was not what shall I do, but who shall I send?"
I really like that thought.
I love hearing personal stories. Thanks for sharing.
Temple work for the dead truly makes our church more solid, in my opinion, that God is fair to everyone!
i always follow your new video, just like going into the institute, your teaching in wonderful, i enjoyed it right here , we love you here in the Philippines. keep it up God Bless
I must have done something during Pre Earth life and had a wonderful not perfect but God fearing MOTHER to whom I will be Eternally grateful 🙏❤ may GOD BLESS her should have shown her while she was alive sorry Mom love ❤you miss you
I think she knows. ❤
Love this lesson!❤️
I really loved this lesson, actually I love them all. They help me each week as I study my scriptures. Thanks so much for your knowledge.
We have sprinkled it upon the people of the graves, and lo, they have risen up, with their gaze fixed upon the shining and resplendent Beauty of their Lord..”
[Baha’u’llah (The glory of God, the promised one)- The Summons of the Lord of Hosts, v.
“O ye that dwell on earth! Well is it with them that keep My statutes.”
[Baha’u’llah (The promised one of all ages), Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah, p. 97]
3: time watching this
We are going through The Holy Bible now but I just love going back to other books and not others do good as you 😍🎯
Beautiful as always. Thank you so much for your time, your insights, your testimony. Your lessons fill my week with goodness. FYI Vinson Knight had no relation to the Joseph Knight family, but he too was expelled from Missouri. Thank you for all you do!
Your discussion of “exploratory interviews” was brilliant. Probably all callings should be pursued precisely as you suggested.
1:36:00 Grandaughter's wedding in the temple and grandma was angry about not being able to go, and Brother Halverson's answer.
And in all things, charity"
1:35:00 Sealing power and answer to the Grandmother about temple sealing, only faith can be present for the miracle of sealing to happen
26:00 balance between individuality and unity
