Racing Roomba takes on an obstacle course & jumps a ramp!

  • My modified Racing Roomba takes on the obstacle course at UC Berkeley's annual student vehicle challenge. I removed the stock motors and gearbox on my 10 year old Roomba and replaced them with large 600+ RPM planetary gear motors. The motor controller was also replaced, it is using a Sabertooth 2x12.     I think they put stronger motors in it so it goes faster
    They took it apart and rebuilt it with different parts

      I must say, I hate people abusing and destroying robots, but this is great idea. I like it.
