Lyrics:
Yeah, you know they're gonna bring it down now
They're gone wreck it down here
Something's come to rob me, and I can't get my head
I get nervous in the New York City Streets, where my legacy treads
I know I've been around standin' in the shadows, far from Humans with Guns,
But now It's too late, there's no escape, from what they have done
Come On!
I'm Going Deeper Underground
There's too much panic in this Town
I'm Going Deeper Underground
There's too much panic in this Town
I'm Going Deeper Underground
Well I got to go deeper, got to go much deeper, yeah
huh, hey
They're gonna wreck it down here
hey, yeah
They're gonna bring it down yah
Some people with a packet full of money, and an affel of hate
Take out pleasure in destruction of-eh everything, that they try to create
Somebody tell them why the zone man caan only tempering touch
Heaven Heaven where the badder mamma thinking chew, and now it's too much - เพลง
I'm here in 2024 rocking this joint 🙏🏾🇿🇦

Can’t believe how good this still sounds now
What does this mean? "Still sounds good now"? Music doesn't age. If it sounded good 20 years ago it still sounds good now. The problem isn't the song, it's you.
@@SpaceSkeletonDragon no it's your comment
yeah sure the phrase like "it was better before" are bulshit
but nonethe less if you were to go and listen to some olg song, many while still being great would still sounds outdated, this one doesnt have that feeling
@@SpaceSkeletonDragon Music production and quality of sound has improved a lot specially last 30≈ years, such an passive-aggresive answer to someone just saying it sounds good
@@ZeeewFFA seems about the same to me. only change i notice is that actually decent audio equipment is cheaper

The whole 90s inside 5 minutes. Beautiful time to be a child.

Jamiroquai was so unfairly underrated outside of the UK.
Not for me. I luuuuuuv him
As i recall, he won several awards in different regions of the world :)

Here in Brazil Jamiroquai have a lot of fans.
Pretty sure he was played on American radio a LOT
This song never gets old...
Let's all take a minute to appreciate jamiroquai's agility. The way he dances across the backs of theatre seats as if it were the floor is mesmerizing. Such a dope video.
jamiroquai isn't a guy, it's the name of the whole band, the guy dancing is Jay Kay
@@shintjee9860 I'm aware that its the name of the band but it's easier to just say jamiroquai since hes the only one dancing on the backs of theatre seats it's quite obvious who I'm referring too, but thanks for you irrelevant input anyhow..
@@zombywoof864 Or you could just refer to him as JK? It's pretty easy
@@shintjee9860 or you could just worry about yourself... It's pretty easy. This is exactly what's wrong with the world today.. Everyone is so hung up on enforcing their ideas on others over such frivolous bs.. I simply gave the man a compliment yet referred to him as the band name he's in, and some random stranger is losing their shit, won't let it go, for what? Are you insecure? What's wrong, sport?
@@zombywoof864 There's nothing to be insecure about? It's simply just kinda disrespectful to the other band members by calling the lead singer the band name.
I miss the 90s. With tunes like this we could restore humanity, and look fine as hell while doing it.
Let’s start now, brother!

0:16 - 0:53 The intro music by David Arnold is still bloody intense to this day. Absolutely love it.

It's so damn intense! I love it

Jay can dance on any surface, period
Yass haha
Adam Malik he's got the balance of a spirit level
you know this is greenscreened right?
he's not actually dancing on water like some kind of funkadelic messiah.
Dlobo duh. He's still dancing on very uneven & slippery surfaces, and he's done it a lot.
For sure, they filmed it at the ABC in Norwich, it still smells damp.
Love the bass line.
Hard bass line bro..

uncaring nousername “stolen” you mean resampled right? Not only that there is also the distinct possibility that it’s just a coincidence. Considering I’ve watched JK in his studio going absolutely mental on a dozen instruments, I reckon it’s just vaguely similar and he didn’t steal it.

One of the hardest beats ever created....
Man the 90s was massive for music
Yes, but no.
It was the 60s, 70s and 80s. Then in the 90s it all came to a screeching halt. This song is one of the few good ones and it wasn't even appreciated!
@@jfloresmac Nah, it was the 90s that was best! 💯
Imo music died after the 80's jamiroquai was a massive exception though

I really dont care what anybody says, this video still rocks.
Always risky going back to things you liked as a kid...
But this song is even better than I remember it, great track.
This song deserved so much better than to be attached to a stinker of a movie. It also makes me think that Jay Kay could write a pretty good film score. I was such a huge fan back then and then kind of moved into different kinds of music but coming back to Jamiroquai reminders me of why I was a huge fan in the first place. And it’s as good now as it was then. It hasn’t aged at all.
Funny how I literally just heard of this guy within the last year but I've actually been hearing his music for years now.
Love when that happens. I've been sleeping on so many artists that have been around since I was a little kid.
That awkward feeling, when music video is 10 times better than the actual movie.
so true !

Hello
Very underrated, it's a damn masterpiece.
This man is a legend. No one like him even now!
The list of tunes they've made is incredible
Theater Owner: “You’d like to film a music video here? Sure, sounds like fun.”
(smash!)
This song shakes your mind, your soul and your body.
This brings back some awesome memories!
Таких сильных и необычных саундтреков недостаёт множеству фильмов в последние годы, а то и десятилетия.
More people need this mans music it’s incredible
I have been obsessing on this man's music for two days now!
glad im not alone lol
Jamiroquai's a band, not a person :L
I think the production process and how they did it might be a great story. I can see that he is walking on a bluescreen with inbuild prop cars etc, sometimes there are miniatures (like Heli in the background), sometimes retro CGI. But there is an absolute perfection in the timing and composition, most of the time nothing is out of it's place, like his feets are always hitting backseats. AMAZING.
It's because they produced this as part of the Godzilla 1998 soundtrack and they used the same assets from the movie to shoot Jamiroquai's video lol
filmed at the state theatre in essex
20 years later...this song is still my fav!!!!!!! Jamiroquai come back we need you
He went too deep underground :(
Jamiro little ja ta com 54 anos e se bobiar ja é vivo, mas ele esta activo fazendo shows pela europa.fique ligada
If Michael Jackson made this song, it would be regarded as an instant classic, up there with the best he's done. But as its Jamiroquai it's just seen as "oh that song from godzilla" such a shame, this, seven days in sunny June and feels just like it should very under appreciated
Cosmic girl, great track, Love Foolosophy was a phat album. Virtual Insanity, Emergency on Planet Earth. So many better tracks than deeper underground - which is still awesome now.
For me, its an honor to be something from godzilla. Godzilla is a masterpiece. Even if they call him zilla in rolan emrich's adaptation, for me it's still godzilla and this song is perfect for him
@@NitroSL95 I think that it's more of a departure from what we knew of JK at the time. It's not "ya typical Jamiroquia" track, and if this is your only exposure to them and didn't like it, then you would be mistaken about what make Jamiroquia unique and miss out.
It's still a PHAT track - a choo-choo-tune!
But to your point about "this is the tune for Godzilla", I don't think movies have hits like this anymore. Like "You could be mine" pretty much encapsulates Terminator 2. It's hard not to hear that and think - Arnie on a Harley jumping off a bridge, landing that jump in an L.A. storm drain.
Why focus on it being underappreciated instead of enjoying it for what it is?
King for a day too. Such an underrated song.
Still a tune. Will never forget this masterpiece both audio and visually.

I had this on a mixtape I made by recording off the radio (the pinnacle of piracy circa the late '90s). Subjected my poor family to a car trip across Scotland with this song and Three Lions on a near constant loop for literally hours and hours. Haven't heard it since then, but listening to it now brought that holiday and my obsession with this song all flooding back! Ah, memories.
Playing Three Lions in Scotland is dangerous business! Well done. :)
