How many introverts have sat there, including myself, over the past 8 weeks during this lockdown and thought, this has been the most peaceful and an excellent time just to switch of completely, not to start looking to deeply at certain things that may happen tomorrow or over the coming week because you can see a potential problem building at work or at home with family/friends, but to switch off and do the very things you enjoy doing, mine is creating music and going for a walk and just take the environment in and to scence the world around me. Keep things simple instead of having others around you overcomplicating things.
I am an introvert and all of this is true. The only thing that stops me right now is my lack of self confidence. But with what I've been doing lately, it will change soon.

I felt that way for a long time since very young age until I learned about my personality traits throughout reading a pile of books about it! I end up realising that I should stop guilt tripping myself for hating small talks at work or unexpected employees visits in my office. In my office door I have a sign that says, "if you can email or text it, DON'T COME IN"! My biggest problem till these days however is when I meet new people, they often misread my ability for public speaking and sense of humor for being an extravert! This has the compound effect of them almost always trying to invite me somewhere and me always having to come up with a polite way to decline! If I can help it, I will always pick a book and quite place over a busy party and since this is something that people can't always understand you have to come up with creative ways of declining unless you absolutely needs to be there for business reasons!
i never felt bad about being introverted...I understand that not too many ppl will have my best interest and this is a “every man for himself” kind of world.
Love my introverted nature ....I enjoy Solitude ...clean room ....serene air ...very strong intuition ...and I enjoy nature a lot ...seriously I enjoy it ....
Lockdowns and quarantines were nothing for us...we easily managed to go through it , without being bored...When everyone complained about 2020, we liked it..coz it gave us opportunity to find more of ourselves...

People normally think it's disadvantageous to be an introvert because they think we're all alone by ourselves, but what they really do not know is that in our own small world somewhere in our mind and by ourselves we have much company and are too busy with our great ideas and thoughts... Something we can't bear leaving alone to engage in other activities rather than to be by ourselves...
Often made impacts on many lives without realizing it. Being an introvert is a wonderful gift that keeps on developing and giving. I have been told I am a strong leader. First, :) you have be become a servant in order to be a strong leader to be looked up to in real life. :) Hope this helps

Reading books is like installing new software in our heads, that we enhance and personalize our own operating system...sometimes with the right book, we upgrade our operating system of the mind to the latest software... extroverts tend to get stuck with the older OS. Introverts can be alphas too, we are called sigma. As a male introvert, 007 James Bond is a classic sigma.
Right on keep being an introvert we are much better at handling sticky situations and being alone for long periods of times with out going crazy with being cooped up at home, for me being at home is heaven.

Introverts also make excellent leaders. Our ability to understand what's written between the lines helps us to see different ways to accomplish our goals and our power to think deeply allows us to choose a course of action others might not have even thought of. And for most introverts, our need to avoid conflict, AKA unnecessary socialization, means we possess people skills we don't even realize we have. We instinctually understand how to approach those around us to produce the most desirable results, thus limiting our social interaction. And our single minded drive means when we want it done, one way or another, we'll find a way to do it.

Wow, a video about introverts that is mostly correct is a rarity. Save for the segment of deeper more meaningful relationships, everything is very descriptive of me. Being a true introvert, I have nobody in my life. I have no friends, acquaintances, not even coworkers in my shift. Thus, I have made no deep lasting bonds with anybody. But I have no kind of human bonds at all.

I've only just recently discovered I am a introvert and what it actually means, I've spent many nights drinking and partying to fit in with the in crowd but not being fulfilled at all by the nights out. This video makes me feel like there's nothing wrong with wanting to be alone and happy.

When I was in kindergarten, the teacher called my mom in to show her a picture a painted. The said it was very articulate for my age and she was going to show the picture at a meeting she was going to. The teacher said to my mom, "There's one thing about Randy, he's very introverted". Like that's a bad thing. We are old souls.
