Hey Mochy, Another great upload! Love your videos.. question, what made you double at the ~14:15 minute point at the video? You were leading about 20 pips obviously but didn't look good enough to me to double. It worked out eventually but it was close (in part because your opponent could've played his 6-6 better after your 6-6). Great game!
Hi JcohenK, thank you for the feedback. Not only I was up 13 pips but also I have a better board and so many good numbers. 64, 62, 22, 44 hit the blot on 14 point, 66 and 55 makes 1 point, any 5 and 7 can hit loose on 1 point (which may lead to very quick close out if he rolls poor).
I see now, you're right. Thanks for explaining! By the way, what did you think of the way your opponent played his 6:6 after the double? Would you have played it the same, or taken that one last checker out with the 2 6's?
Escaping is not as important as making the five point, especially with black's gaps and home board blot. White's solid 4-prime is very strong after this play. In fact, escaping from the 21-point is fine, if and only if it is accompanied by making the five point (and hitting loose on the bar).

And what is my bad numbers? not many. Maybe 21 or 31 is the worst rolls but I am still huge favorite. So it was a double and take.

David explained them all. Having strong structure is usually overweigh the safety.
th-cam.com/video/WIQY8Szq8KM/w-d-xo.html I don't get why you didn't enter a winning race with 24/13 with a 16 pip lead after the roll.
get these guys better chairs lmao
they spent the budget on the expensive board
