I've played through a few Williams arcade games and they feel a lot more geared to getting the player off or depositing another credit ASAP than some other machines.

That was incredible. You beat the entire game and didn’t die once like wtf lol… when I was a kid my buddy and I blew through $20 in quarters and we didn’t get passed the first boss. Love the running man movie and I had this game on NES but it was so hard. So cool to see all the levels and bosses I’d never be able to see, thank you for this!

I'm going to call fix, you lost the ball too much to have beaten it much less without even dying. I played many a MAME32 SmashTV rev 8 at the default setting and you cannot beat the game without dying. I suspect you played at a lower speed or set it at an easier level/used save states. Your play is above average but your fire distribution/accuracy/conservation is not top notch. I myself beat the game 2 times on one credit, without dying ONCE: impossible.
I agree. There are many instances where the enemies appear to partially pass through P1 (25:54 for example). I feel something was adjusted/fixed to allow the enemies to get closer than usual without killing P1.

As far as I can tell, this is the updated software version of the original arcade game that had no Pleasure Dome Arena, no matter how skilled the player was at playing the game, which led to complaints against the arcade operators about the issue. And I'm very surprised that LOTS of babes were counted as prizes at the PDA. I love it! 😊

@prpunk187 Well first of all, being inspired by something and being a knockoff are two totally different concepts. Running Man also only had like ten deaths, the arenas were completely different, the contestants didn't have machine guns with unlimited ammo, and there was not any big money or big prizes. I guess you can like the SNES music better but it's lower fidelity; I think this video in particular is not using the full audio at times.

The game is perfectly playable and looks great. It doesn't need a remake. Just use MAME and dual stick gamepad unless you are able to build dual arcade stick USB controller for your PC.

This had to be set to easy on the bosses because Mutoid Man never died that easily in my arcade experiences.
