I'm very curious of the base feel of 6.5" subs. I built my x-wife and I the same 4 ohm system but she had 10's and I had 12's. The 10's hit tighter & harder & the 12's hit wider and louder. Her 10's was 1,100w and my 12s were 1,300w both on the same 1,000w 2 channel amp. There was a noticeable difference in base sound on 1,000w, same settings amp & EQ. I figured it would be about the same since they were both getting the same wattage and they both exceeded the maximum wattage of the amp.
Turn the EQ Bass all the way down. Turn the volume up to maximum level before high/mid distortion if any. Turn the bass up until it barely distorts and turn it back one. Then you can have a loud stereo with the max amount of Base. Most people just turn the bass up and then can't turn it up loud without it sounded like 💩 or completely unable to hear the highs and mids.
so the question is hook our subs up in phase in reality or make them out of phase so they look in phase in a youtube video ?? feel fRee to post your answers i'm asking for a friend of course
Not even how it works... The reason it looks out of phase it rolling shutter (camera capturing the frames gradually in a wiping motion instead of all at once) this causes them to appear out of phase because to the camera the one on the left is playing the note before the one on the right, not 180 out of phase.

Deez Nuttz not out of phase I'm not an idiot. The box is small and ported that's why one has more resistance than the other. How can you not know about this phenomena homie
They are small displacement but if they run in the same air space I can see running out of phase , it really only matters with big systems with big displacement such as 15's you run your mids out of phase to keep from damaging them , some isobaric setups require this too but you are running a large box and unless you're port is only a inch around and 2 ft long I don't see much advantage running out of phase

@@soundwavesaudio1 well you may be right but for my experience when I see one woofer flexing up as the other woofer is flexing down then they are out of phase but yet you probably don't have separate Chambers so maybe when one woofer is flexing out it's pulling the other woofer down slightly or something but usually that doesn't work that way if they're running parallel with each other which means they should be flexing in the same direction 🤷♂️
"Can't turn it up all that loud" It already sounds like clipping, proceeds to - TURNS IT UP MORE- . Meanwhile, the little subs are out of phase making no audible sound except for the chaffing of air as they are pushed by the square wave generator (I mean Rockford amp)
Another asshole that comments with no knowledge. Not out of phase. If they where out of phase you wouldn't be able to hear them at all just see them move this is some low notes the fact that you can even hear some of the bass out of 2 6.5 150 watt subs says something. 300 watts rated rms for the subs on a 1000 watt cea amp that the actual rms is 1400+ watts. Not even close to clipping. Yes they look out of phase because I'm not a professional videographer. And I used the camera on a phone not able to keep up with the movement of the subs. And I used a tablet for volume that's why the head unit is all the way up the tablet is not. Look at the video as the volume goes up on the unit the actual sound goes down.
@@Cambalamba almost 1,500 watts cea compliant. Dont really need more than that. I lile my vocals loud and the bass to reinforce the sound. The bass shouldn't drown the vocals. Its not an spl system. It's the camera focusing on one driver and not the other equally so the drivers appears to be out of phase but it's because of the camera focusing on one and not the other so the one that's out of focus (not in the center of the camera view) seems to be out of phase (moving slower than) with the one that is within it's focus. If the drivers were out of phase in that enclosure we wouldn't hear bass because each driver would cancel out the other. His shit hooked up right

Look closely at the video the volume goes up on the radio but it actually lower if you listen because I'm turning it down on the tablet.
