As a newbie in the hat community (Bought my 1st hat 4 months ago, started researching 6 months ago) I always wore dad hats and just wanted a different look. The problem was that there was 1 person that I leaned into for hat “knowledge” and looking back now he wasn’t the most helpful. He had all these weird rules about wearing only team colors or colorways of other sports team in the city. I wanted an all black hat with a yellow “B” Brooklyn Dodger logo and he said it’s not a good hat because that’s not a color associated with that team. Long story short, do your due diligence and don’t listen to anyone that has silly little rules. (Disclaimer: Just be mindful which patch goes with which team) Wear what you like. Love what you wear. 💯💯💯

i travel with those hard shell carrying cases with a zipper. i have a few of the new era branded ones that carry 6, but a friend gifted me the one that fits 12 from hat club and i use that one mainly when i travel
