Yes. I voted for him both times. But the DNC thought Hillary would be a better choice. I voted for her only because I knew who Trump was and is. I voted against him every time. I wish Bernie had not ended his campaign in 2020 during Covid. But there was the damn DNC not wanting to piss off their corporate supporters. So they couldn't allow Bernie to win. He would have beaten Trump.

As a Vermonter, Bernie has represented me for many years now, and I'm proud of his efforts to support the American people. It is long overdue for the US to eliminate corporate profit from our healthcare. We need universal healthcare and we need it now. Corporate America, go ahead and make lots of profit from the BS we don't need; luxury cars, fancy homes, toys, frills, etc., but you shouldn't't profit from a person's ill health and medical needs - that's just in bad taste and downright deplorable.

Mr. Sanders, I confess that when I was younger and my politics were very different (I grew up in a Fox household but was already starting to question some aspects of that when the 2016 election primary solidified that the party I'd grown up with was no longer one I morally or ideologically wanted to identify with), I was more afraid of you and your ideas than I should have been. "Socialist," my family members would say, but they would use it as a scare word, a sort of mental mouse-trap, rather than openly engaging with your ideas and explaining whether or why they do or do not have merit.
The events of the past week have produced some of the most unifying American spirit I've seen in many years, to where even people who disagree on the morality of the specific events agree that our current wealth-care system is not designed to benefit those of us in the middle and lower classes. People are tired of gambling hundreds of dollars or more every month in the often vain hope of receiving service they're not guaranteed to get. It's like we're paying a subscription fee for the use of our own bodies and often not even getting any return for our hard-earned payment.
Thank you, Mr. Sanders. Even when I grew up on Fox, I saw you, at least, as a principled individual who is genuine about what he stands for. Thank you for everything.

I’m an 18 YO male in Ohio who is a certified firefighter and EMT, and after the election, I’ve decided to run for my local city council. I refuse to surrender to trump and his project 2025 agenda. Granted, I live in a blue district in Ohio, but I want to keep it that way. I may not be able to save the country, I may not even be able to save my own state, but I can at least protect my home district and the ones I hold close. And who knows? Maybe someday I’ll get the opportunity to run for senator, governor, or even president. Then, I’ll be able to protect more people.
If that ever happens, I’ll give you a shoutout, Bernie. Keep fighting the good fight ✊

We're the only modern western country that doesn't have universal healthcare. We also have the lowest life expectancy of any of those countries, probably due in part to the fact that they aren't losing 40,000 people a year because they didn't have insurance. Those countries also don't have 500,000 bankruptcies a year due to medical debt. And on top of it all, we pay far more than those countries for drugs and treatment. Nobody wants to keep our system besides the few thousand people that work directly in it.

VA will cover if I go to ER but on my Medicare+ it says $120. I like most old. people have issues that Senior's have. For every specialist I see have to pay $20. In fact yesterday for 1st time since Obamacare came in I had to pay $20 to see a specialist. BTW not retired but if you served most Vet's get healthcare. @@jeremymarsh569 We call it what it is. Socialism is the only way humanity will survive into the far future, capitalism and profit motive have torn apart the world and our own bodies, lower class fight every day just to survive while the rich kill people thousands of miles away in the name of profit. Marx theorized that capitalism would eventually transition into socialism just as feudalism and mercantilism transitioned into capitalism, it's the natural order of people to advance society and civilization into a more harmonious and equitable form over time, this never happened because power was consolidated globally and all efforts to progress the world were and still are being actively suppressed. The whole reason you even fear the term socialism is because you've been conditioned to believe that capitalism is the greatest system that not only was but could ever be. This is a lie that goes against the natural order of things, we've been made to forfeit man's nature and future in the name of profit and control.
