I also lost 40 pounds in two months recently and switched my diet to Mediterranean. I'm glad to hear you're on the mend. I hope you're back to 100% real soon. To lose weight i just restricted calories to a 1000 a day and I ate whatever i wanted. It was very aggressive, but worked fast. Once i hit the target weight i bumped up the calories by 250 every two weeks until i hit a maintenance number. Then i switched to Mediterranean. Extra virgin olive oil, fish, veggies, whole wheat, whole grain, and some lean meat. Limit salt and saturated fat intake. You're right about having to find a long term sustainable diet or it's not going to work. Good luck! Give us an update soon. Let me know if you need anything. I'm a computer programmer, website guy, pharmacist, and business guy. I know a little bit about a few things 😂
So you say you're OK eh? Well that's a relative term no? lol Hey thanks for the health update, and glad to see you're good to go man. And thanks for the ride along too. Any chance to tilt that camera down a tad so we can see a bit more of the traffic/scenery? I gotta say I miss the ambient sounds too, but it's great video nonetheless. Peace Bro. Keep the shiny side up eh. :-)
Holy crap man! You’re still out there! So this particular video is not ideal. I’m using a 15 year old camera that has no display to see what is being captured and the audio is fed from my headset via Bluetooth. It was full of cracks, pops, and insufferable noise so I had to use voice isolation just to make it useable. But I hear ya, quality could’ve been better. Usually this camera is used for a 2nd angle and doesn’t provide audio. I’ll do better next time, I promise! Glad to hear from you. Thanks for commenting!
Hey Pinkie! Yeah I’m much better today and hopefully still improving. Losing the weight is the best thing I could do, as well as being the hardest. But it came down to dying, or giving up some foods I enjoyed too much. The choice is not difficult. I want to beat the statistic which predicts I’ll kick the bucket
@@FloridaTwoWheelAdventures Yes, the retirement statistics aren’t good for LEOs, but it can certainly be beaten. You’re well on your way to do that. Plus, you’ve got bikes, the ultimate stress reduction machines! 👍
